Redskins rookie Nico Marley is telling TMZ Sports how he stirs it up before games ... and of course it has to do with jamming to the iconic music of his legendary grandpa, Bob Marley.

Now that his dad, Rohan, told us about one thing Nico 100% WON'T be doing before games, we wanted to talk to the younger Marley about the type of things he DOES do.

Apparently that includes listening to the music of Bob, which Nico says gives him a positive vibration before he's gotta go on the field and put in work.

Bonus awesomeness? Nico tells about the all-world former NFL beast who's been an angel on his shoulder since the beginning of his football career.

Michael Jordan's Team USA jersey is goin' up for auction ... and could end up being one of the most expensive pieces of M.J. memorabilia ever!

His Airness rocked the #9 jersey when Team USA dominated the 1984 Summer Olympics and is part of Grey Flannel Auctions' summer catalog ... and we're told it's the only known jersey of its kind.

Of course, '84 was the last time an amateur-led team won the gold medal for the Red, White and Blue ... before switching to pro ballers with the "Dream Team" in 1992.

M.J. memorabilia tends to rake in HUGE bucks -- Jordan's "flu game" shoes sold for $104K in 2013 -- and our friends at Grey Flannel are estimating a big haul with the jersey.

Bidding starts at $10,000 on June 2nd.

Edelman (it's really him, he's just beardless now) met up with Dante (8), Carlos (17) and Tyler (14) and granted their wish to hang with the Pats star.

He even fired up Madden for a Super Bowl 49 rematch -- Pats vs. Seahawks -- and check out how fired up JE gets when his team reached paydirt.

Boxing superstar Keith "One Time" Thurman will have to wait a little while for that huge money fight he's been calling for ... after undergoing elbow surgery that will sideline him for months.

Thurman has revealed he went under the knife in April to remove calcium deposits from his right elbow -- a situation he was dealing with BEFORE his epic March 4th throwdown with Danny Garcia.

The 28-0 fighter still appears to be bruised up from the procedure -- but says he hopes to be fighting again by the end of the year.

We got Thurman out right before the surgery in April and he told us he's still gunning for a marquee bout with a huge star like Manny Pacquiao.

He's also down for a rematch with Garcia. We're down for that too.

ALL ABOARD!! Justin Bieber's back on the Cleveland Cavs bandwagon!

Case in point: his concert in Cape Town, South Africa a couple nights ago -- where he was rocking a pair of Cavaliers throwback shorts.

Here's the deal ... Ben Davis H.S. senior, William Pate, got his U.S. Govt. teacher to agree to cancel the final exam if he get could Kobe to publicly acknowledge him on Twitter.

Here's the thing, Scott ain't exactly a fan of LaVar, who he said is "sticking his foot in his mouth" when it comes to his son's playing career, but still thinks Lonzo's the best option for the Purple & Gold.

"At the end of the day, I know [Tom Brady's] gonna do what's best for his health" ... so says Rodney Harrison.

Rodney didn't just play with Tom, they're friends -- and the ex-Patriots star says he knows Tom is always keeping his health as the top priority when he's playing.

Of course, Brady made headlines this week when his wife, Gisele, said Tom has concussions all the time ... but "we don't talk about [them]."

The concern is that Tom is hiding serious brain injuries to avoid missing playing time.

But Rodney doesn't believe Tom would do that -- saying, "I've known Brady for a long time. He's a great guy."

There is this ... Rodney seems to be suggesting many players could potentially suffer concussions during games and they're not properly diagnosed."

Paul Pierce was literally caught in the middle of a murder investigation Thursday night -- when cops saw two men running toward the Hollywood hot spot where he was partying after a deadly shooting nearby.

WWE legend X-Pac -- real name Sean Waltman -- is so determined to prove he's not a meth dealer, he took a lie detector test and passed with flying colors ... but there's a catch.

We broke the story, X-Pac was arrested at LAX on April 29 after drug dogs found pills in his luggage that officials believed to meth. He was booked for possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

X-Pac previously claimed the pills were NOT meth, but instead a non-meth medicine used to treat a yeast infection.

To prove his story, X-Pac invited polygraph examiner Rachel Levi to his show, "X-Pac 12360," on Afterbuzz TV to put him through the ringer.

The problem for X-Pac ... the science behind polygraph tests is widely disputed and the results are not admissible in court.

How do you know when the breakup is real? When someone finally moves out.

This time it's Adrian Peterson, whose Minnesota house is officially up for sale, TMZ Sports has learned.

The 5-bed, 4-bath home -- which Peterson bought for $665k in 2007 -- is located in Eden Prairie, just minutes from the Vikings headquarters and practice facility.

AP listed the house at $695k earlier this week (hey, $30k goes a long way) ... and being that it comes with a team themed room (purple walls, team logo), another Viking might wanna grab it.

Of course Adrian is a Saint now ... and while it remains to be scene whether he'll cop a spot in the Crescent City, one thing's for sure ...

Floyd Mayweather went off on 3 boxing brothers in the U.K. on Thursday -- saying he'll beat ALL of their asses in the ring in the same night!

Floyd was at the news conference to promote his TMT fighter, Gervonta Davis -- who's facing off against Liam Walsh on Saturday.

Walsh's brothers, Ryan and Michael, were also at the event -- and began heckling Floyd from the crowd.

That's when Floyd told the entire Walsh family to bring it ... calling 'em all a bunch of "cold bums."
