LaVar Ball's College Teammate LaVar Beating Michael Jordan ... Is 'Laughable'

Published | Updated

One of LaVar Ball's college teammates says Ball's claim he could've beaten Michael Jordan back in the day is a bunch of BS ... calling Ball's statement "laughable."

TMZ Sports spoke with Brian Quinnett, a forward on the 1987-88 Washington State team LaVar played on for one year ... and asked him if there's any truth to Ball's big-time assertion.

"It's laughable. The stats speak for themselves."

The stats Quinnett are referring to are LaVar's 2.2 ppg average from that year ... numbers NFL stud Le'Veon Bell used to call out Ball earlier today.

BTW -- the 6'8" Quinnett knows all about having to guard Michael Jordan ... telling us he did just that as a member of the Knicks back in the early '90s ... and it didn't work out well.

"He basically called for a clear out, took the ball and dunked on my head."

See, LaVar, it's harder than it looks ... and it looked pretty damn hard to be honest.

He also calls a female officer a "bitch" ... spews homphobic slurs ... and calls one officer a "fat f**k."

Despite the videos, Parry pled not guilty to felony robbery, felony unlawful use of transportation and misdemeanor threats.

"The reality is that what happened in that video was sexual assault, period."

Thomas also calls on Roger Goodell to take immediate disciplinary action to prove the league is serious about protecting women.

LET'S GET READY TO ROAD RAGE!

Joey Logano should've been EXPECTING a fight with Kyle Busch this weekend ... especially after the way he was driving ... so says NASCAR analyst Jeff Hammond.

Hammond was covering the Kobalt 400 for FS1 and says he loved the passion Busch showed when he confronted Logano after some "aggressive driving" on the track.

Bottom line ... the whole "leave it on the track" mentality doesn't apply when you spin out a race car around 180 MPH.

"In Joey's situation, you should expect that kind of a retaliation. You gotta be looking for it. Your head's gotta be on a swivel."

In fact, Hammond says MORE drivers should show the kind of passion Busch did.

Hey, more fights? We're down!

Ex-Baylor Football Player Attacks Woman ... Goes Berserk on Cops

An ex-Baylor football player was arrested in Vegas this morning after cops say he roughed up a woman and then went CRAZY on police ... kicking out the back window of a squad car.

The man facing the allegations is 22-year-old Tre'Von Armstead -- who was infamously linked to the Baylor University football cover up scandal.

FYI, Armstead was named in a rape investigation in 2013 ... but Baylor reportedly failed to take action for roughly 2 years. Armstead was eventually dismissed from the team in 2015 for a "violation of team rules."

Armstead has denied any wrongdoing in the 2013 incident.

But Monday morning in Vegas, Armstead found himself in trouble again ... when police officers say they watched the 6'6", 280 pound tight end push a woman in front of The Cromwell Hotel.

Law enforcement sources tell us officers confronted Armstead and tried to arrest him but he resisted.

When they finally put him into the police car, we're told he kicked out the back window.

He's currently being booked for battery domestic violence, resisting arrest and damaging a police car.

Zeke was drinking a beer next to a group of people while on the roof of a Dallas bar to watch the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Greenville Ave.

The woman is playing to paradegoers and motions at her breasts -- then points to Zeke. Next thing you know, he reaches over and pulls her top down, exposing her bare breast. She scrambles to cover up.

We spoke with Elliott's rep who told us the woman wasn't upset ... and actually hung out with Zeke and a group of friends after the parade ended.

Nonetheless ...

12:00 PM -- We just obtained more video of Zeke from the parade. We're told this was taken moments after the breast exposure.

Elliott reaches in a second time and she slaps him away before flashing her cleavage to the crowd below.

Ex-Penn State Officials Plead Guilty In Sandusky Scandal ... Face Prison

Published | Updated

Two former high-ranking Penn State officials each pled guilty to child endangerment for their roles in the Jerry Sandusky scandal ... and now face serious prison time.

Ex-Athletic Director Tim Curley and ex-Vice President Gary Schultz were initially charged with felonies -- but struck a deal in which they agreed to plead guilty to a reduced misdemeanor charge.

The charge still carries a maximum of 5 years in prison -- a sentencing date has not been set.

As you may recall, former Penn State graduate assistant football coach Mike McQueary alerted PSU officials when he heard Sandusky sexually assaulting a young boy in the team showers.

Both Curley and Schultz -- along with ex-PSU President Graham Spanier -- were made aware of the allegation but did not go to police. Instead, they simply told Sandusky he couldn't bring boys to campus anymore.

Schultz and Curley were arrested in 2011. Spanier was arrested the following year.

Spanier is not out of the woods. He's been charged with felony conspiracy and misdemeanor child endangerment. Jury selection in that case is set to begin next week.
