NEVER GIVE UP

Joel Embiid is taking ANOTHER shot at his celebrity crush -- this time, professing his love in a video message to Rihanna ... "I love you."

Embiid's been after Rihanna for a while ... ever since she allegedly shot him down in 2014 and told him to come back when he's an All-Star.

Well, he killed it this season and could win Rookie Of the Year ... and clearly, he's got the confidence to double down on his efforts to court the pop star.

Still, Embiid's staying humble ... and told our photog, it's his 76ers teammate, Dario Saric, who should get R.O.Y.

COME ON, MAN!

Charles Barkley's approval rating of Donald Trump is trending DOWN ... 'cause Sir Charles is mighty displeased at the POTUS decision to diss a Presidential tradition ... the annual NCAA tournament bracket.

Barack Obama participated in the Madness of March every year by filling out a bracket like millions of other Americans ... but not Trump, who recently announced he planned to skip it.

Barkley covers the tourney for Turner Sports, and when we got him out in NYC he was all worked up about the Prez skipping the festivities ... and a number of other things as well.

It's not too late Donald ... change your mind.

Kenny Smith Yo Drake, Take My Daughter ... And Make A Hit Song!!!

Published | Updated

Kenny Smith is offering Drake one of his daughters ... in a totally non-weird way ... 'cause Smith wants the Canadian superstar to take his baby girl and make a massive hit.

We got Kenny out in NYC when he went all proud daddy on us ... telling us about his pop star Kayla Brianna, who's career is exploding having been nominated for an iHeartRadio award.

That's all well and good ... but we had to know who Kenny's dream rap team up for Kayla is, being that he's the type of guy who can make it happen.

Sorry American rappers ... Kenny HATES you, telling our guy he would want none other than Drizzy on the track with his kid.

Careful Kenny ... Drake is known to be kinda "charming." Ask Rihanna, and J.Lo, and Hailey Baldwin, and like every model he's ever done a video with, or seen on Instagram, or heard about.

You can see Busch stomping over like he's on a mission, and that's when Logano's pit crew got involved.

Busch left the rumble fuming with a bloody forehead. Clearly he doesn't like being cut off.

Falcons Coach Dan Quinn Super Bowl Regrets? Let's Talk 4th Quarter Playcalling

Published | Updated

Why did the Falcons call PASSING PLAYS in the final minutes of the Super Bowl instead of running the ball and kicking a FG that would have put the game out of reach?!?!

That's exactly what we asked ATL head coach Dan Quinn.

Coach Quinn -- who couldn't have been nicer -- essentially says that drive is NOT why they lost the game. They blew other chances to ice the Patriots, too.

The good news ... he's staying positive and says, "Hopefully we get a chance to battle for one again. We'll be ready."

ATL Braves Pitcher Allegedly Pulls a 'Cash Me Ousside' ... Cops Called to Chick-fil-A

Published | Updated

Atlanta Braves pitcher Mike Foltynewicz got into it with a fan at a Chick-fil-A in Florida -- allegedly telling the guy to "meet me outside" ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports.

Mike -- who's in Kissimmee for Braves Spring Training -- was chillin' at the chicken joint in nearby Osceola County with his wife on March 9 when he was confronted by a man asking for an autograph.

The fan says Mike cussed him out and challenged him to a fight saying, "We're gonna do this man-to-man" and "Meet me outside!"

Cops were called but Mike was gone when they arrived. They spoke with employees who said Mike did cuss but didn't pose a real violent threat.

Surveillance footage shows Mike trying to walk away from the fan and sit at a table in the back -- before eventually changing his order to go ... and leaving.

Cops say the fan is leaving to go back to Tennessee and likely won't ever encounter Mike again ... so they're not pushing forward with a case against the MLB player.

In short, no one was caught outside ... how bow dah?!

Lindsay Kay Hayward I Thought of Shaq During My Ambulance Ride

Lindsay Kay Hayward had one specific person in mind during her ambulance ride to the hospital after a health scare ... fellow giant Shaquille O'Neal!

We got the "My Giant Life" star and 6'9" pro wrestler Friday in Vegas after she was hospitalized last week -- for what she thought was a blood clot in her lung -- and she's got a funny way of remembering her time on the stretcher.

Good to see Shaq helped Lindsay stay positive in what could have been a serious problem. Big folks gotta stick together ... in sickness and in health.

Floyd Mayweather I'll Un-Retire for Conor McGregor Just Ink the Deal Already!

Published | Updated

Floyd Mayweather had made it loud and clear -- he's willing to step out of retirement to fight Conor McGregor ... if they can just hammer out a deal.

Floyd made the official announcement Saturday, saying "for Conor McGregor, I'm coming out of retirement ... just to fight Conor McGregor."

He added ... "I don't want to hear no more excuses about the money, about the UFC. Sign the paper with the UFC so you can fight me in June. Simple and plain. Let's fight in June. You're the B side, I'm the A side."

Here's the problem ... Dana White has already said the fight isn't likely to happen because negotiations are falling apart. They seem to be worlds apart on money ... and there's simply no deal as of February.

Floyd's been back and forth about being willing to fight Conor, but seems to be taking a firm position now ... he's willing if a deal can be struck.

Your move, Dana.

Michael Floyd is a free man ... kinda!

The New England Patriots WR was released from an Arizona jail early Saturday around 5 AM, where he's been locked up since February 16th for his extreme DUI conviction.

But he's not entirely a free man -- because now he begins the house arrest part his sentence ... a sentence that essentially requires him to remain in the confines of his home for the next 3 months.

As we previously reported, Floyd was arrested on Dec. 12th when cops found him passed out behind the wheel of his SUV with his engine running at a stop light in Scottsdale.

The Arizona Cardinals cut him immediately following the arrest ... he was picked up by the Patriots a short time later and ended up winning the Super Bowl.

Muhammad Ali's Son Stopped Again At Airport Claims Religious Profiling

Published | Updated

Muhammad Ali's son was stopped and questioned again at another airport ... and his lawyer says the TSA is lying by trying to minimize the incident.

Muhammad Ali, Jr. was at Reagan National Airport Friday when he tried checking in for a flight at an airline counter. Ali's lawyer says a computer check flagged Ali and someone who needed to ante up more info about him. The lawyer says the agent wouldn't accept Ali's Illinois ID, and then put the boxer's son on the phone with Homeland Security.

The lawyer says the call lasted 20 minutes. Once Ali handed over his passport to confirm his identity, the lawyer says Homeland security cleared him.

TSA says the delay was not 20 minutes -- only 11, adding Ali was never "detained."

Ali was held a month ago for several hours by immigration at a Florida airport ... he and his lawyer say it's clear it's because Ali is a Muslim.

Raiders' Donald Penn Raiders Can Save Aldon Smith

RAIDERS' DONALD PENN RAIDERS CAN SAVE ALDON SMITH MARCH 2017
HE'S A GOOD DUDE

Oakland Raiders star lineman Donald Penn says the best thing for Aldon Smith is to be around his teammates -- so they can serve as a support system for the guy as he battles substance abuse.

Penn says he truly believes his teammate is a "good guy" and wants the best for him -- despite the bizarre situation involving Smith and the police in San Francisco this week.

As we previously reported, Smith -- who's serving a suspension for a previous violation of the league's substance abuse policy -- was detained for public intoxication after a car he was a passenger in crashed into a cop car.

It's obvious Penn cares about Smith ... and believes the structure and camaraderie a pro team can provide will be best for the former All-Pro.

There's more ... Penn also weighs in on the Raiders running back situation -- and tells us what he really thinks about the possibility of Adrian Peterson joining the backfield.
