Johnny Manziel popped the question ... and she said yes!

The 24 year old QB tells TMZ Sports he is officially engaged to GF Bre Tiesi ... the girl he's been dating since late 2016.

The two have been inseparable over the last few months -- and seemed to have really hit it off after a December trip to Miami.

Johnny tells us, "When you find a girl as amazing as I did that saved me from where I was in my life, you absolutely put a ring on it."

Manziel popped the question during a romantic trip to Paris -- with a MASSIVE diamond ring -- and a bouquet of roses.

Bre says, "I'm in shock. I couldn't imagine a day without [Johnny]. I'm so glad I never have to."

Tiesi is a model who also appeared as one of the hot chicks on the MTV show "Wild'n Out."

Here's a mind blowing video to make you rethink the direction of society ... Gael Monfils, one of the biggest tennis stars in France, just told TMZ Sports he has ZERO CLUE who Pepe Le Pew is.

For those of you who didn't have a childhood either, Pepe Le Pew is a hilarious French skunk, constantly in search of companionship, who was lovable, although incredibly rapey.

We got Monfils out at LAX and asked him what the French think of one of their most relevant cultural figures, when he then dropped the bomb on us that he had no clue of Pepe's influence.

What's worse is when Gael asked his two friends if they knew about Pepe, and they didn't either.

Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield got BLOWN UP by cops when he tried to run during a drunken Feb. incident in Arkansas ... and it's all on video.

As we previously reported, Mayfield was arrested on Feb. 25th when cops tried to confront the QB about a violent incident earlier in the evening.

That's when Baker tried to run ... but a linebacker-esque officer quickly launched at Mayfield, rocking him into a wall and taking him down to the ground.

Mayfield yelled back at the officers -- but they eventually subdued him and arrested him for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and fleeing.

Mayfield later apologized for the incident -- saying he embarrassed his family, friends, teammates and fans.

NFL wide receiver Michael Floyd is hours away from getting out of the Arizona jail where he's been locked up for almost a month ... but he ain't exactly about to be a free man.

TMZ Sports has learned Floyd is scheduled to be released on 3/11 -- but he'll almost immediately begin the next phase of his punishment for his extreme DUI case ... house arrest.

We're told Floyd will spend roughly 3 months confined to his Arizona home -- where he's forbidden from consuming a single drop of alcohol.

If he wants to leave the house for any reason, he must ask for permission first -- and there's no guarantee the judge will grant his request ... even for work-related events.

2:20 PM PT -- Ciara's rep tells TMZ, "The driver was illegally in the bus lane and hit the right side of her car."

1:44 PM PT -- Russell Wilson just let everyone know Ciara is ok, tweeting, "Momma Wilson & Baby Wilson are feeling great! God is good!"

Ciara -- who's pregnant and in her 3rd trimester -- was involved in a car crash in L.A. moments ago ... TMZ has learned.

Witnesses tell us Ciara was driving her white Mercedes SUV and was making a left turn when a grey Volvo SUV slammed into the front passenger side of her vehicle.

Police and Fire Dept. responded to the scene. We're told Ciara was clutching her chest and shoulder, but walking around and talking on her phone.

Law enforcement sources tell us Ciara and the other driver exchanged information, but neither of them was seriously injured.

NFL star DeAndre Hopkins says his mom was blinded and physically scarred for life in a brutal domestic violence incident ... and he's sharing his story with high school kids.

Hopkins was the guest speaker at Wisdom High School in Houston, TX, where he recalled the terrible day when he was 12 years old and his mother was the victim of an acid attack. The assault left her blind in both eyes and caused serious damage to one side of her face.

The Houston Texans WR says his mother has never seen him play a pro football game as a result of the attack.

DeAndre's point was to show the students what can happen when an abusive relationship spirals out of control. He advised the kids how to identify warning signs and how to help if someone they know is in danger.

Hopkins is an advocate for AVDA (Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse) which has operated in Houston for almost 40 years.

Finally, some news on the health of ex-NBA star Cliff Robinson -- and it's good -- courtesy of Cliff's former college basketball coach Jim Calhoun.

We spoke with the former UConn coach who tells us he spoke with Robinson yesterday ... following a medical emergency in Portland earlier this week that left him hospitalized.

Information on Robinson's health has been minimal -- but Calhoun tells TMZ Sports he's confident the 50-year-old is on the road to recovery.

"He's resting and recovering," Calhoun said ... "But he had something sitting on the couch, something happened to him medically. They're working on that now. Yesterday he was on the improvement side, which is great news."

Calhoun wouldn't reveal specifics about what caused Robinson's condition but says, "Very simply, he had a situation that came out of nowhere. For a young man, very unusual."

We asked if the prognosis was good ... he replied, "Yes, it is. But like I said, what he had was very unusual for a young guy."

The future Hall of Famer rolled into Jay Glazer's Unbreakable gym in L.A. this week to train up Ross Travis -- a former Penn State basketball player who signed with K.C. in 2015 in the hopes his skills can translate to the football field.

Tony and Ross went over blocking techniques -- while Sylvester Stallone was right next to the guys doing his own training regimen.

By the way, Ross didn't do much on the field last season (playing behind stud Travis Kelce) but he killed it in locker room basketball trick shots.

Lindsey Vonn's brief stint as an L.A. Rams fan might already be over -- because her boyfriend is no longer a member of the coaching staff ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Kenan Smith was an offensive assistant coach with the team for a couple years until late last season ... when he was promoted to tight end coach.

But with head coach Jeff Fisher getting the ax ... it seems Smith did too.

Good news for Dodgers fans ... manager Dave Roberts says there's no reason why the team shouldn't be right in the World Series race this season.

TMZ Sports spoke with the Blue Crew skipper who's clearly fired up about his squad this year as they get tuned up at Spring Training in Arizona.

We also spoke with Roberts about Yasiel Puig and the break-in at his L.A. home ... and Roberts tells us the MLB star was "heartbroken" over the incident.

The bigger issue, Roberts says ... even though Puig can afford to replace the missing items, he feels violated and that sucks.

One last thing ... Roberts owns a winery, Red Stitch Wine -- and he says it might be the BEST celeb owned vino on the planet!

O.J. Simpson could be released from prison as early as October, and the buzz in the reality TV industry is that some producers are getting ready to scramble to sign him.

We've contacted a number of reality TV production companies, TV agents and platforms where such a show could run, and the reactions range from recoiling in disgust to pouncing on the opportunity.

None of the people to whom we spoke wanted to be quoted by name, but they all say the most likely formats are documentary or interview show.

Simpson actually co-wrote a book and then in 2006 shot a TV special, 'If I Did It.' O.J.'s co-author has said O.J. confessed to the double murder in the book and we know he read that passage for the TV special. There was a public outcry and Fox killed the show and our sources say it will never air.

The producers and agents with whom we spoke say they're certain someone will try to recreate the TV special that was never broadcast for several reasons ... years have passed, O.J. has done time for unrelated crimes, and 'People vs. O.J. Simpson' was a big hit.

Here's the problem. Almost to a person, producers and agents said broadcast and cable networks would never air a show featuring O.J. They say the public wouldn't tolerate it and no one would advertise on it.

That said, producers say there would be a home on Pay-Per-View because, as one person put it, "people could pay without being judged."

As for O.J. making money off a show ... he's still on the hook for a $33 million wrongful death judgment, and any money he makes could be attached to satisfy the judgment.
