NFL's Joe McKnight Shooter Charged With 2nd Degree Murder

The man who shot and killed NFL player Joe McKnight has been indicted for 2nd degree murder ... officials in Louisiana announced.

Ronald Gasser, 55, was arrested on December 5 and booked for manslaughter ... following a road rage incident that led to the death of the former USC star.

Now, after further investigation by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in collaboration with the D.A., a grand jury has hit Gasser with the more serious charge of 2nd degree murder.

As a result of the indictment, the judge raised Gasser's bond from $500K to $750k.

If convicted on the murder charge, Gasser faces life in prison.

UFC star Yair Rodriguez -- who was born in Mexico -- says it's "cool" that Donald Trump wants to take care of the "bad hombres" south of border ... and thinks POTUS could be the guy to help fix his country.

The topic arose after Trump reportedly placed a call to Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto and warned that he might send U.S. troops if the Mexican military couldn't control the "bad hombres down there."

"I mean I think that's cool, you know?" Rodriguez told TMZ Sports ... "We have some troubles in Mexico right now."

Yair said he's not sure sending U.S. troops is the answer -- but it seemed like he was happy Trump wants to get involved in fixing the issues in his homeland.

Rodriguez -- who was at the Celebrate the Game Kickoff Party Presented by Recoup Fitness -- also reflected on his fight with B.J. Penn and explained why he'll always respect the UFC legend.

At least one of Pacman Jones' teammates has his back -- with rookie cornerback William Jackson saying he hopes the team doesn't cut the troubled NFL star after his arrest last month.

Jackson was Cincy's 2016 1st round pick -- and says Pacman has been a mentor to him on the field.

But, after Jones was caught on video cussing out a police officer and telling him, "I hope you die" -- many are wondering if the Bengals will finally give Pac his walking papers.

Jackson made it clear he likes the guy and says, "I hope he'll be alright."

The future Hall of Famer is gunning to set a speed kicking record -- attempting to hit 20 extra points from 20 yards out in 60 seconds at the NFL Extra Points Charity Kick on Friday.

There's A LOT on the line -- if he's successful, Barclaycard has pledged to donate $15,000 to the Pat Tillman Foundation.

The feat would also go down as a Guinness World Record.

Mayhem Miller Acquitted In Domestic Violence Case

Ex-MMA fighter Jason "Mayhem" Miller is officially off the hook in his domestic violence case -- after a jury found him NOT GUILTY of beating up his ex-girlfriend.

The trial was intense -- with Miller acknowledging he got into multiple physical altercations with his ex, Anna Stabile ... a MMA fighter he had been training.

In fact, Miller testified in court that Stabile tried to hit him with a choke that he taught her -- but she couldn't execute the move because her legwork was "sloppy."

He also claimed the two had a very bizarre and kinky sex life involving threesomes, golden showers, choking and more.

Essentially, Miller argued that he was the real victim who was simply stuck defending himself from a trained fighter with a violent streak. The jury bought it.

It's a big deal for Miller -- he was facing more than 5 years in prison if convicted.
