Ryan Lochte's crappy 2016 is ending on a high note -- he just announced he's expecting his first kid with his Playboy model fiancee Kayla Rae Reid.

Arizona Cardinals star Michael Floyd was just cut by the team ... only 2 days after being busted for DUI in Arizona.

The 27-year-old -- one of the teams top wide receivers -- was arrested in Scottsdale, AZ after cops say they witnessed him asleep at the wheel of his Cadillac Escalade ... at a traffic light.

Cops say they noticed signs of impairment ... and arrested MF for DUI.

FYI -- Floyd was set to be a free agent after this season ... and was expected to get a big money contract.

Now, he doesn't have a job.

Ray Lewis is coming out swinging against anyone thinking he betrayed the Black community by meeting with Donald Trump ... saying those people are "embarrassing."

Lewis appeared on "The Herd" on FS1 with Colin Cowherd to discuss Tuesday's meeting, where he and legendary football player Jim Brown talked to Trump about social issues plaguing the inner cities.

Ray came under fire for the meeting from some minorities on Twitter ... who felt betrayed by Ray's discourse with Trump after some of the President-elect's rhetoric on the campaign trail.

It's been an up-and-down season for the Boston Celtics ... but that's not keeping superfan Mark Wahlberg from staying positive ... saying the Celtics will finish with one of the best records in the East.

Boston was predicted to be one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference ... but currently sit just a couple games above .500 at 13-11.

So, when we saw Mark in NYC promoting his new movie "Patriots Day," we asked about the teams less-than-stellar start.

Mark ain't worried though ... saying it's WAYYY too early to freak out, predicting that the Celts will finish with either the 3rd or 4th seed in the East.

The 7-6 Green Bay Packers might have help comin' their way ... a 6'3" player named ... Donald Trump.

Trump was holding a rally in Wisconsin on Tuesday when the state's political bigwigs, Paul Ryan and Gov. Scott Walker, gifted the Prez-elect a "TRUMP" Green Bay Packers jersey.

FYI -- Trump will be the 45th president of the U.S. ... hence the number.

Trump's jersey was custom-made, with his name stitched on the back. Future VP Mike Pence was also in the house ... but had to settle for an Aaron Rodgers jersey.

Rickie Fowler wasn't just doing shots for his Hollywood birthday party -- he was doing shots FROM THE FREAKIN' RYDER CUP!!

In the ultimate case of "To the victors go the spoils" ... Rickie hit up Catch in West Hollywood with a bunch of his pals, but most importantly -- the 17" tall cup he helped Team USA capture this year.

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor's war of words just got realer than real ... with Mayweather vowing to "slap the s***" out of the UFC star the next time he sees him.

Mayweather made the threat while doing an Instagram live chat on a boat (in full Hawaiian shirt mode) ... saying he's tired of Conor mentioning his name and he's now willing to take violent action.

This comes just days after TMZ Sports got McGregor out in L.A. dissing Mayweather yet again ... saying that it's himself -- not Floyd -- who's the biggest combat sports star in all the world.

Floyd was smiling when he made the statement ... but we know The Notorious one doesn't take any threats lightly ... and has had near-brawls with other UFC stars based on Twitter beefs in the past.

It might be time to start taking the Beer Mile race seriously ... 'cause former world record holder Lewis Kent just released his OWN signature shoe with Brooks Running.

Kent -- the first competitor to dominate the sport -- signed a deal with Brooks back in November 2015 ... and now he's come out with the very first Beer Mile shoe.

John Salley says people pissed Kanye West met with Donald Trump are DEAD WRONG ... telling TMZ Sports the meeting was a BRILLIANT move by 'Ye to get the ear of the Prez on social issues.

Salley was out in BH when we asked him about the photo op seen 'round the world ... West cheesing hard with the President-elect after a 15 minute meeting in NYC Tuesday.

Some Kanye fans were furious about the powwow ... but Salley says they're off and has a reason why the Trump-West connection could be key in making America great again.

Lamar Odom checked himself into rehab out of fear he'd go on a major bender as his deceased son's birthday approached ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Lamar's son, Jayden, was born Dec 15, 2005, but died the following June from SIDS. We're told his son's death was the primary reason he started doing hardcore drugs ... and he was keenly aware the birthday might push him over the edge again.

As we reported, our Lamar sources say he went to a San Diego area facility late last week.

We're told Lamar's also struggling with the fact his divorce from Khloe will be final on Saturday, and he didn't want to be tempted to use.

Lamar is shooting for a 60 day rehab stint. He bailed after 3 weeks when he attempted rehab in 2012.

The L.A. Lakers have reportedly 86'd plans to stay at the Trump SoHo hotel on road trips to NYC ... citing "security concerns" as the reason they can't lay their heads on Trump's pillows.

According to a report by the L.A. Times, the Lakers were concerned about protests happening outside the hotel ... so they opted to take their business elsewhere.

TMZ Sports spoke to the NYPD ... who told us they have no "knowledge of security threats to that location" ... adding it's "all clear down there."

FYI -- 3 NBA teams have publicly ceased business relationships with Trump hotels due to politics ... however, an unnamed source told the Times the Lakers' decision is NOT "politically motivated."

Former WWE superstar Shad Gaspard body slammed a gun wielding armed robber this weekend ... and now TMZ Sports has the surveillance video.

As we reported ... Gaspard was at a gas station convenience store when a man pulled out a hand gun ... and pointed it at the 6'5", nearly 300lb. wrestler.

What happens next is crazy ... Gaspard rushes the would-be robber and takes the gun away (it turned out to be a BB gun).

S.G. then grabs the man by the neck and forces him outside ... before BODY SLAMMING him on the concrete.

Gaspard held the assailant down while police rolled to the gas station ... and placed the man under arrest.

BTW, Shad joined the guys on "TMZ Sports" and gave a play-by-play of the scary situation.

DeAndre Jordan ain't fazed by the Cowboys' tough loss to the Giants on Sunday, and he REALLY doesn't want to hear any criticism about rookie QB Dak Prescott, simply saying, 'we're 11-2.'

D.J. was leaving Nice Guy in L.A. when we had to ask about Prescott's mediocre performance in the 10-7 loss to New York -- going 17-37 with 165 yards with a TD and a pick, finishing with a 45.4 rating.

The wife of Broncos star Emmanuel Sanders is pulling the plug on their brief marriage, despite the fact she's about to give birth to their 2nd child any day ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Gabriella Sanders -- who is due this month -- filed divorce docs in Texas at the end of October, a few days before the couple's 3 year wedding anniversary.

According to the court docs, GS says "the marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities," but doesn't say exactly what caused the split.

It doesn't seem pretty, cause the judge gave Gabriella a temporary restraining order to keep the wide receiver away from her and their Texas home until further notice.

The judge did give the NFLer "limited access" to their 2-year-old son and future daughter.

In the docs, Gabriella's also asking for child support and a "disproportionate share" of their assets, because she says the divorce is Emmanuel's fault.

We reached out to his camp, but they had no comment at this time.

1:50 PM PT -- Gabriella had their baby girl Tuesday afternoon, and Emmanuel was there in the delivery room. He posted a pic which makes it seem like they buried their differences, at least for today.

Here's video of the frantic scene following the death of Will Smith, showing Cardell Hayes -- the man convicted of killing Smith -- in full panic mode talking to a man at the scene of the crime.

The video -- shot by an eyewitness and obtained by NOLA.com -- shows Hayes and his friend, Kevin O'Neal, moments after Cardell shot the ex-Saints star, trying to describe what went down. Hayes is in the blue shirt.

The footage was shown to jurors during the trial. Hayes was found guilty on manslaughter and attempted manslaughter charges.
