Published | Updated

Floyd Mayweather was gonna make $35,000 for 90 minutes of work at a Vegas nightclub ... but blew it off because he didn't feel like leaving Europe ... this according to a new lawsuit.

Mayweather's being sued by the SLS Hotel in Vegas -- which says they had a deal with Mayweather to host his 39th birthday party at their Foxtail Nightclub on February 20.

All Floyd had to do was show up ... host the party and do the red carpet -- and bam, easy $35,000.

The SLS says he even got half the money in advance.

Problem is ... Floyd allegedly bailed at the last minute so he could "stay in Europe for his birthday."

Obviously, the club was pissed ... and demanded the advance back, which Floyd has allegedly refused to fork over.

The SLS is suing for the money back -- plus additional damages.

We reached out to Floyd for comment -- so far, no word back.

HAPPY FOR DETROIT

Matt Millen says all traces of his work in Detroit are "long gone" ... and he couldn't be more proud of how the Lions have bounced back into one of the best teams in the NFL.

Of course, Millen was the President and CEO of the Lions from 2001 to 2008 and posted a 31-84 record during his run with the team and took responsibility for the results.

Now that it's been 8 years since his ousting, Millen says there's ZERO hard feelings -- he's thrilled for the city of Detroit and incredibly impressed by QB Matt Stafford.

Since he was also a part of the infamous 2008 Lions team that went 0-16 (though he was let go in Week 4), we asked if he had advice for Browns fans on how to get through their toughest season ever.

LEAVE STEVE BARTMAN ALONE ... so says Cubs GM Theo Epstein ... who says Cubs fans should back off Bartman for good -- unless he CHOOSES to come out of hiding.

Of course, Bartman is the guy who was blamed for blowing the Cubs playoff run in 2003 when he interfered with a foul ball. Fans demonized him and basically ran him out of town.

But now that the Cubbies are World Series Champs, what should become of Bartman?

We asked Theo, who says the guy is more than welcome back at Wrigley ... but the team isn't going to pressure him to come out and make an appearance.

Basically, the ball's in his court.

FEELIN' LIKE SHAQ-RADAMUS

Rick Fox is serving up a big "I Told You So" to anyone who balked at his prediction League of Legends would outgrow the NHL ... and says their recent historic sell out of Staples Center is proof he was right.

We had talked to Fox a little while ago at LAX (guy flies more than Superman) and he'd told us he thinks eSports has a chance to pass the NHL as the nation's fourth sport.

Some balked at the idea ... but that was before the recent League of Legends championships sold out Staples center in an incredible 45 minutes and drew 36 million viewers ... something that doesn't happen in the NHL.

When we got Fox -- who, of course, owns an eSports team -- at LAX ... it was time for the 3 time champion to win another ring ... at gloating.

The Cowboys have multiple guys up for both Trophies (Dak could slide into either one as well) but when we got George out in NYC he made it clear ... Zeke deserves em both.

It's been done before ... NFL great Earl Campbell pulled the feat off back in 1978 ... and Eddie thinks Zeke is having a beastly enough season to get on that guy's level.

Adrien Broner Loses Threesome Sex Tape Case ... Protect Your 'Ho Phone'

Published | Updated

Adrien Broner just learned the hard way ... if you're going to record a threesome on your phone -- DON'T LET IT GO PUBLIC!!!

A Nevada court just ordered the boxer to fork over $175,000 (plus other fees) to one of his co-stars from a 2013 romp after the footage mysteriously surfaced on World Star Hip Hop.

Broner had argued that he didn't intentionally leak the video (which was shot with the consent of his 2 partners) ... but he had lost the phone he shot it on and someone else posted it.

So, why didn't Broner have a password on his phone?

The boxer testified that he has 3 phones on him at all times -- a business phone, a family phone and a "ho phone" (his actual words).

Broner says he simply never bothered to password protect the ho phone -- so anyone could've had access to his x-rated library.

The jury bought Broner's story and found that he did not act intentionally ... just negligently ... and ordered him to fork over the $40k in lost wages and $135k for pain and suffering.

The plaintiff's attorney, Kevin Hansen, tells TMZ Sports, "I'm happy to see that the jury saw through the defendant’s games. They saw [my client] for who she is and Broner for who he is."

Broncos' Brandon Marshall Reveals Vile Racist Hate Mail ... Slurs & Violent Threats

Published | Updated

Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall just revealed two hateful letters he received at work -- littered with n-bombs and threats of violence.

Marshall famously took a knee during the National Anthem to start the NFL season -- and it pissed off some people. We're guessing that (and obvious racism) inspired some people to write disgusting hate-filled letters to him.

Marshall is obviously taking the high road -- and posted the following comment:

"The hatred by some against people of color is one of the reasons we are where we're at in the world today, and they wonder why we feel the way we do and take the stances that we take."
