Tony Gonzalez I'm Cool With Gates Breaking My Record ... And So Is My Hot Wife
Not only is Tony Gonzalez okay with Antonio Gates taking over his all-time tight end touchdown record ... his ridiculously beautiful wife is too ... both giving a thumbs-up to Gates to take a part of TG's legacy.
Gonzalez currently holds the all-time NFL record for TD catches by a TE at 111, but Gates is on his heels with 109 ... and will probably pass him any week now with the way the Chargers chuck the ball.
So, when we got Gonzalez out in BH with his gorgeous (sorry we keep saying it, Tony, but it's true) wife, October, we had to know ... how does it feel to get your name wiped off the history books?
Tony also chimes in on whether or not Gates should get anything for Philip Rivers -- the guy who tossed him all those TD's ... Gates said he wasn't ... Tony has some ideas.

Super Bowl Champ Walter Thurmond Oregon Needs Chip Kelly Back ... He's The Best Option
Chip Kelly claims he's not interested in returning to Oregon ... but that's not keeping Walter Thurmond from hoping his old coach returns to Eugene ... 'cause the ex-Ducks star says "he's the best candidate."
Thurmond -- a member of Oregon's 2009 Pac 10 champion team -- disagrees with the decision to fire Mark Helfrich after a 4-8 season, but says Kelly would be the best fit to come back to Oregon's sidelines.
"I think knowing the coach, knowing the atmosphere, knowing the people, I think that would be the best candidate to be able to bring him back."
Kelly went 46-7 as Oregon's coach from 2009-12, and told reporters earlier this week that he wasn't interested in the gig ... but Thurmond thinks it could be all talk.
"He did the same thing before he said he was coming out to the NFL, so you never know with him."

Conor McGregor I'd Knock Out Floyd Mayweather 'Age Waits for No Man'
Conor McGregor believes he's got all the advantages in a fight with Floyd Mayweather -- power, reach and youth ... saying, "Age waits for no man!"
McGregor talked about his possible boxing career during an event in Northern Ireland on Friday -- when, of course, the topic of Mayweather came up.
"If I focus with the work ethic I have solely on the sport of boxing, there’s no telling what I could do,” McGregor said.
"I would not go in there just to show up, I’d go in there to knock [Floyd] out. That’s it. He can be hit, he’s been hit before. Age waits for no man."
"I know the size is on my side, I know the reach is on my side, I know the youth is on my side."
He continued, "There’s a lot to lose for them, so that’s why they're scrambling ... but that’s okay, I’ll leave them scrambling. I’ve got some other boxing opportunities and potential opponents in mind. Some previous Floyd opponents. They can bring in anyone in the game. We’ll see what happens."
Someone brought up boxing champ Paul Malignaggi -- who called McGregor out on social media.
Conor's response? WHO THE F**K IS THAT GUY?!!
"I don’t know who the f**k that is but I’ll slap the nose off him if he ever mentions my name again."
