Conor McGregor has announced his girlfriend Dee Devlin is with child ... and it might be the first thing the UFC star is actually scared of.

The UFC superstar confirmed the rumors after beating up Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in NY on Saturday -- saying his GF Dee Devlin is due in May.

"I'm running from it to be honest," McGregor joked ... "I am crapping me jocks with the whole thing. I don't know what to be doing with myself."

Conor says he doesn't know if it's a boy or a girl ... but one thing's for sure -- that kid's gonna RULE IRELAND.

Herschel Walker tells TMZ Sports he wants to be an active part of Donald Trump's inner circle -- and is making his pitch to be appointed to the head of a special government organization!

As we reported, Walker is a longtime friend of Trump and remains close with his family -- and was a vocal supporter of Trump during his campaign.

Now, Walker hopes to be rewarded with an appointment to the head of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition ... a post currently held by Drew Brees and Dominique Dawes.

"I hope he would at least consider me."

There's more ... Walker says he's been hit up by politicians trying to kiss his butt because he's close to the man who's about to become the leader of the free world.

There's one rule to talking sports with T.I. ... put your money where your mouth is ... and the rap star just proved that by straight PUNKING a TMZ photog who tried to make an NFL bet on the street.

T.I. was out in L.A. when one of our photogs dared to ask him about the state of Falcons football, and more specifically how Julio Jones would do against the Eagles this week.

That's when a rich guy (T.I.) told a not so rich guy (our camera guy) to put up (money) or shut up (your mouth).

Lance Briggs -- who made more than $52 MILLION during his NFL career -- is accused of stiffing his baby mama to the tune of $37,000 ... this according to court docs obtained by TMZ Sports.

The woman behind the allegations is Sabina Chavez -- who has an 8-year-old daughter with the retired Chicago Bears linebacker.

According to court docs filed in L.A., Briggs had been ordered by an Arizona court to pay $9,100 per month in support.

But Chavez says Briggs ain't keepin' up his end of the bargain -- and by the end of August had only ponied up $8,100 of the $45,500 he owed. So she filed court docs asking a judge to force Briggs to pay up the remaining $37,400. A court date in the matter has not been set.

The relationship between Briggs and Chavez has been rocky for years -- they've been going back and forth in court battles since the kid was born.

Conor McGregor is barking up the wrong tree by picking a fight with Tyron Woodley -- because if they really did throw down, the Irishman would get BEAT THE HELL UP ... so say 2 fellow UFC stars.

As you know ... McGregor and Woodley went at it on Friday -- it started with an icy interaction at the weigh-in ... escalated on Twitter ... and got even nastier when they faced off in person Friday night.

Now, both Anthony Pettis and Aljamain Sterling are warning McGregor to think twice ... Woodley's no bitch.

There's a new comedy star on the horizon ... and according to Rob Lowe this guy can also throw a mean spiral ... 'cause Rob thinks Peyton Manning could have a future in the ha-ha game.

A former NFL defensive lineman wound up in cuffs Tuesday night after allegedly attacking a bar patron and a security guard during Donald Trump's victory speech ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The man at the center of the incident is Shane Burton -- a solid DE who played 8 seasons in the NFL (Dolphins, Bears, Jets, Panthers) and even tackled Tom Brady in Super Bowl XXXVIII.

But according to law enforcement, Burton went berserk at Barney's Beanery in Burbank just before midnight on Nov. 8th ... allegedly pulling a man off a barstool and battering a security guard.

Officials says 42-year-old Burton then walked out of the bar -- but didn't get far. Officers found him nearby a short time later and say he was drunk and initially refused to cooperate.

Burton was eventually handcuffed -- placed under citizen's arrest by the security guard -- and hauled to a nearby jail.

Cops say the alleged victims suffered "scratches, minor abrasions and a torn shirt."

The Twitter war between Conor McGregor and Tyron Woodley escalated to a real-life confrontation moments ago ... with Conor screaming at the champ backstage at the UFC weigh-ins ... calling him a "woman."

As we previously reported, McGregor called Woodley a "bitch" on Twitter after an icy interaction at a UFC event Friday morning. Afterward, they trashed each other on social media.

But when they ran into each other at the UFC 205 public weigh-in Friday evening, things got REAL -- with Conor saying, "You're like a woman with that phone ... f**king bitch."

Woodley didn't react ... pissing off Conor even more.

Ronda Rousey made an angry charge onto the UFC stage to stare down her UFC 207 opponent Amanda Nunes ... and then stormed right off ... blowing off the customary interview with Joe Rogan.

Dana White tried to hold Ronda onstage so Rogan could get off some questions -- but Rousey was having none of it ... and pulled away to bolt.

Nunes stayed onstage and vowed to beat Rousey's ass when they get in the Octagon in December.

By the way, Ronda's hair looked dope.

UPDATE -- Ronda continued to storm past media after she left the stage.

Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez just went toe-to-toe for EVEN MORE smack talking at the UFC 205 weigh-ins ... jawing at each other while Dana White pulled them apart.

Conor took more shots at Eddie -- claiming the fight will be just another day at the office ... "I do this every week."

Eddie vowed to silence the crowd ... and promised to shut Conor up for good.

The tennis superstar was greeted at LAX by a fan who wanted to gift Serena with a dozen delicious treats from the legendary Randy's Donuts in L.A.

The Memphis Grizzlies did just that -- sporting a bunch of disgustingly awesome Sager-inspired shirts Friday to pay tribute to the legendary courtside reporter ... who's in a fierce battle with cancer.

The shirts are being sold by the SagerStrong Foundation -- and part of the money raised goes to leukemia patients and their families.

Cool to see the Grizzlies not only showing love to Sager ... but helping a good cause in the process.

Ex-Team USA soccer player Ella Masar says she was NEVER serious about boycotting the U.S. now that Donald Trump has been elected president ... claiming she made a joke in a Swedish interview that was taken out of context.

Masar -- who currently plays for FC Rosengard in Sweden -- reportedly said she asked team honchos for a 4 year extension with the club "so I do not have to go back to the U.S. with Donald Trump as president."

But TMZ Sports just spoke with Masar ... who says the report is just plain wrong.

Masar does acknowledge she was talking about the election in the interview -- and made a joke about staying in Sweden for another 4 years ... but NOT because of Trump.

"No, I'm not staying out of America for 4 years ... I can't wait to go back in a week."

Randy Gregory has a problem with marijuana -- that's what the Dallas Cowboys defensive end tested positive for during his last drug test ... league sources tell TMZ Sports.

We're told Gregory -- who's currently serving a suspension for failing previous drug tests -- was tested again at the end of last week ... and it came up showing weed.

Our sources say Gregory was notified of the result on Tuesday -- and has been concerned that the Cowboys could get rid of him. So far, we're told no decision has been made.

Before this, Gregory had reportedly failed 5 NFL drug tests. This is number 6.

One source close to Gregory tells us, "He has a problem quitting."
