TMZ Sports spoke with the 22-year-old Chicago Cubs hero and his wife, Krystal, who told us how they celebrated the big victory Wednesday (hint: lots of celebrity cameos!)

The Chicago Cubs fan who was knocked out cold after Game 7 of the World Series was enough of a hothead recently to get arrested twice ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Alan Anderson was busted by Chicago cops Sept. 10th for the crimes of phone harassment and assault. Law enforcement sources say the alleged victim is Anderson's ex-girlfriend. According to docs, he allegedly called her 160 times and left a voicemail saying, "I am coming for you, I'm bringing brass knuckles for you."

He was arrested at a bar in Chicago. The case is being handled by the domestic violence unit in the prosecutor's office.

He was also busted in March for another misdemeanor case of harassing someone by phone.

Anderson did not want to discuss his arrests -- he has an upcoming court date -- but he did strongly deny he was talking smack with the Indians fan who knocked him out Wednesday night.

He admits he was celebrating loudly, but not in anyone's face, when the Indians fan approached and told him to shut up. He says they argued for a bit, and then the guy punched him out of nowhere. Anderson says he was calmly pleading his case when he got hit, and did not dare him to swing ... as witnesses have claimed.

As we told you, Cleveland PD is investigating.

Texas Rangers pitcher Jeremy Jeffress has officially been charged with DWI stemming from his August arrest -- a charge that a carries a MINIMUM of 72 hours in jail.

Jeffress was pulled over in the early hours of August 26th -- and during the stop, cops say he admitted to drinking 3 to 4 cups of Hennessy and Coke before he got behind the wheel.

Also, cops say he peed himself during the arrest.

According to court documents, Jeffress has now been charged with DWI -- a class B misdemeanor -- and in Texas that's a big deal. We're talkin' a minimum of 72 hours behind bars ... and a possible 180 days if the judge throws the book at him (though unlikely).

Jeffress went to rehab after the arrest -- and rejoined the team after roughly a month in treatment.

He's due back in court on Dec. 15th.

Josh Huff says he's sorry for bringing negative attention to the Eagles with his drug, gun and DUI arrest -- and says he promises to correct the mistakes he's made.

After being cut by the team Thursday morning, Huff has issued a full statement (via ESPN) apologizing to the Eagles staff, owners, teammates and fans.

"I'm sorry that any action by me brought negative light to this organization."

Billy Corgan's run at TNA Wrestling is officially over -- less than 3 months after he was named president of the company -- and now the singer is hinting at another major lawsuit.

The Smashing Pumpkins frontman is a HUUUGE wrestling fan -- and had been named president of IMPACT Ventures back in August -- which owns TNA and Impact pro wrestling.

But there was a massive dispute between Corgan and company chair Dixie Carter -- after Corgan learned the company had been in secret negotiations with WWE.

Corgan sued to take control of the company -- after he loaned it $1.8 MILLION to keep it alive -- but a judge shot his request down earlier this week.

Now, Anthem Sports & Entertainment and Impact Ventures have issued a statement saying Corgan is no longer with the company. They offered no further explanation.

However, Corgan isn't going away quietly ... and says, "FACT: TNA was supposed to pay me to 2 days ago, which they swore to in front of a judge."

"Yesterday they asked for a day to 'get $ together' upon which, (yesterday or today) they'd 'reach out directly' to settle ALL claims. So they lied again and have used the time as a weapon."

"FACT: I have still not been paid, and I'm exploring all remedies including new filings with court and converting to 36 pct. equity."

There's a ton of bad blood between the Steelers and the Bengals -- in fact, it was Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict who ended Bell's season last year during a Week 8 matchup.

As far as the rivalry goes, the Steelers have won 6 out of the last 7 matchups ... so, advantage Le'Veon.

By the way, he also name drops Johnny Manziel ... saying he's balling the ex-QB -- but back when he was in college!

8:55 AM PT -- TMZ Sports has learned the victim was 36-year-old Alan Anderson, and he was transported to a hospital in stable condition. He suffered a cut to his mouth and a head injury.

Anderson regained consciousness and told police and paramedics he'd been in an argument that got physical. He told police he did not want to file a report and even refused medical treatment, initially.

Here's the best part -- we asked Alan how he's doing this morning. His response -- "My head hurts." But he says he's gonna be fine ... "I survived an assault just like my Cubs survived being down 3-1."

Of course he added, "Go Cubs go!"

The biggest hit at the World Series came AFTER the game -- when an Indians fan KO'd a Cubs fan right outside the stadium ... and the whole thing was caught on video.

The two men had been arguing in the street outside Progressive Field in Cleveland when the Indians fan -- in a "Cleveland Against the World" shirt -- threw a haymaker right hook ... knocking the Cubs guy out cold.

The Chicago Cubs fan who was knocked out cold after the World Series was running his mouth to an Indians fan -- and even DARED the Cleveland guy to punch him ... so says the man who shot the video.

We spoke with Chris Vallimont ... who says he pulled out his phone and started to record after he saw the two men cussing at each other right outside Progressive Field.

"The Cubs fan said, 'You guys just blew a 3-1 lead, f**k you.'"

The Indians fan shot back, "Fight me, p****."

The Cubs fan replied, "Hit me now, I dare you."

The Indians fan accepted the challenge and blasted the Cubs fan in the face -- and then immediately fled from the scene while the Cubs fan laid on the ground unconscious ... so says Vallimont.

"He probably didn't move for about 12 minutes."

Cops and emergency personnel rushed to the scene and the Cubs fan was hospitalized.

The Indians fan has still not been identified -- but cops are investigating.

The Philadelphia Eagles have released wide receiver Josh Huff -- just 2 days after he was arrested for DUI with a gun, ammunition and weed in his car.

Huff was the special teams player of the week on October 26th after returning a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown on the 23rd.

Huff was arrested on Tuesday near Philadelphia -- he was originally pulled over for speeding and illegal window tinting. During the stops, cops say they found a handgun (that allegedly wasn't licensed) and hollow point bullets.

The woman who accused Aroldis Chapman of domestic violence last year was the Cubs pitcher's special guest at the World Series Wednesday night ... because they're together ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The woman -- Cristina -- had told officials in Broward County, Florida that Chapman attacked her last October ... pushing and choking her during a boozy night out. She claimed Chapman then grabbed his gun, went to the garage at his home by himself and fired 8 shots into the wall.

The woman posed for police photos -- documenting her alleged injuries.

Chapman denied the allegations -- though he admitted to "poking her left shoulder" -- and prosecutors ultimately dropped the case. MLB, however, suspended Chapman for 30 games for the incident. Chapman did not appeal.

Now, we've learned ... Chapman and the accuser not only buried the hatchet after the incident -- but they got back together and are still a couple. We should note they have 1 child together.

Bill Murray unleashed 108 years worth of elation in the Chicago Cubs locker room Wednesday night -- sprayin' champagne, chuggin' champagne and TURNIN' ALL THE WAY UP with the team.

Murray was literally clinking full champagne bottles with players like Dexter Fowler -- and telling all the Cubbies why last night was one of the most special moments in his life.

It's great footage -- and well-deserved.

And you gotta love the way Bill ended his night in the locker room -- he's an environmentally friendly reveler.

Truth bombs from Charlie Sheen after his Cleveland Indians lost Wednesday night -- "It was exciting for a while, but let's face it ... we f**king lost."

Sheen hit up Barley House in Cleveland to drink his World Series sorrows away with the rest of the Tribe fans ... and once he got a good buzz going, he picked up the house mic and addressed the fans.

"Sorry, we f**king lost."

You can tell he's disappointed -- and takes a shot at MLB for not letting him throw out the first pitch -- but that didn't stop him from raging into the early morning.

Can you imagine the party if they actually won?
