The money Gods have answered Gilbert Arenas' prayers -- because just days after he claimed he couldn't afford private school for his kids ... the ex-NBA star made a cool $600k in a real estate deal.

He's been a bodybuilding champion, a movie star, and the governor of California ... but Chael Sonnen still thinks Arnold Schwarzenegger missed his calling ... as a dominant MMA fighter.

We got Chael out in L.A. and asked how he thought Arnold would do in MMA ... being that CS had just told us he's expecting his 'Celebrity Apprentice' boss to be at his big fight in Inglewood next year.

Check out the clip -- it's clear Chael LOVES him some Arnold ... saying that the guy's never failed at anything ... and he thinks that would carry over into the combat arena.

Jose Fernandez had cocaine and alcohol in his blood last month when he was involved in a boat crash that killed his two friends, along with the famed pitcher.

Jose's BAC was .147, approaching twice the legal limit, according to the Miami-Dade Coroner's Office. Cocaine was detected in his system as well.

Fernandez's friends both had small amounts of alcohol in their system ... one also had cocaine.

TMZ broke the story ... Fernandez and friends partied at a local bar less than two hours before the fatal crash. The spot -- American Social Bar & Kitchen -- has a dock for boaters to pull up, get out and get served.

It's still unclear who was driving the boat at the time of the crash.

Teyana Taylor can stop NYC traffic by just throwing a few punches ... literally.

Taylor was out in the city Friday doing a Rocky-inspired photoshoot with Mr. Flawless. It's easy to tell, Teyana knows how to land a hook.

One thing's for sure ... girl's not afraid to throw down.

"Gus is one of the best coaches I've ever been around," Lewis said. He says the players still have Bradley's back.

When asked about criticism of the coaching staff, Lewis says -- "It's not really about the coaches. They're not playing between those lines every Sunday."

Moving forward, Lewis says the team is still gunning for the playoffs.

Cruz was on the show earlier this week and did some smack talkin' of his own -- claiming he's gonna beat Cody so badly the 25-year-old will "beg" to end the fight.
