Bad news for DeAndre Jordan ... looks like his boss ain't too keen on his plan to sign Chris Bosh to the Clippers.

DJ had told us last week that he would sacrifice playing time to get the 11-time All-Star on the Clip squad -- so, when we saw Doc Rivers out this weekend we had to ask about it.

FYI, the execs at the Miami Heat have said they're cutting ties with Bosh over his blood clot condition -- though Bosh says he's determined to continue his NBA career with another team.

Unfortunately, Doc made it pretty clear Bosh ain't gonna land with the Clippers.

BONUS -- Doc was having dinner with Larry David ... prettay, prettay, prettay cool.

1:02 PM PT -- Ty's agent, Happy Walters, tells us Ty asked for and received permission from the team to miss the flight.

Sacramento Kings star Ty Lawson was partying his face off with teammates at a Vegas club Thursday night before missing a team flight on Friday morning ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Lawson hit up Drai's nightclub along with Ben McLemore and Willie Cauley-Stein and boxer Adrien Broner ... and you can see in the video, they seemed to be having a great time.

Problem is ... Lawson missed the team flight to Kentucky for an exhibition game the next day and Kings' honchos are reportedly demanding an explanation.

For the record, Ben and Willie made the trip and had decent games.

The Kings had said Lawson missed the game due to "personal reasons" -- unclear if the clubbing counts.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Lawson also missed a team shootaround in Vegas earlier in the week.

More trouble for Adrien Broner -- who was cited for misdemeanor battery at a Vegas nightclub for allegedly choking a waitress ... though the boxer adamantly denies any wrongdoing.

TMZ Sports has learned ... cops were called to Drai's nightclub around 3:30 AM on Sunday when a female server complained that Broner put his hands around her neck and said, "Bitch, I will knock you out."

When cops arrived they spoke with the accuser and a witness who corroborated her story. Plus, we're told the incident was captured on video.

Cops spoke with Broner -- who staunchly proclaimed his innocence -- but ultimately decided there was enough evidence to cite him for misdemeanor battery.

Broner was NOT arrested -- he was simply handed a citation with a notice to appear in court at a later date.

As for the accuser, we're told she did not require medical attention.

This is just the latest in a strong of disturbing incidents involving the boxer ... who was arrested for allegedly beating up a guy at a bowling alley earlier this year. Those charges were later dropped.

Oakland Raiders star lineman Donald Penn is in a BAD situation -- his wife says he knocked up a reality TV star ... and she's PISSED.

L.A. Dodgers slugger Adrian Gonzalez says he refused to stay at a Trump hotel in Chicago during a regular season road trip ... explaining, "I had my reasons."

The Dodgers usually use the Trump International Hotel & Tower when they come to the Windy City to play the Cubs -- but back in May, A-Gon asked the team to make arrangements for him to stay somewhere else.

Gonzalez didn't get into the specifics when asked about the hotel situation -- only explaining, "I had my reasons" ... according to JP Hoornstra of the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.

Let's get serious ... it was a Donald Trump protest move ... even if he didn't say it.

By the way, the Dodgers did NOT stay at the Trump during the first 2 games of the NLCS in Chicago this weekend ... but the team says it has nothing to do with A-Gon or politics.

What happened when a smack talking Chicago Bears fan tried to fight a Jaguars fan after the game on Sunday?

Basically, the same thing that happened on the field.

In some pretty insane footage shot while people were leaving the stadium, you can see a Bears fan in a Matt Forte jersey (weird since he's a Jet now) talking all sorts of crap to a Jags fan.

When the Jags fan asks if he "gets down" -- the CHI fan socks him in the face. Brawl ensues. "Forte" gets kicked in the head. Crazy stuff.

We called cops to find out if anyone got arrested and the short answer -- no.

We're told police were contacted about a battery in progress that sounds like this particular fight -- but by the time they got to the area, they couldn't locate victims or witnesses.

Cops say a battery victim did file a police report later that day -- but the report was so vague and "offered no details" ... so it's unclear if that guy was in this fight.

There were no obvious signs the 17-year-old driver who crashed into NY Jets legend Dennis Byrd was drunk or texting at the time of the fatal crash ... law enforcement tells TMZ Sports.

50-year-old Byrd was killed when a Ford Explorer slammed into his Hummer H2 at 11:16 AM in Oklahoma on Saturday.

Cops say the driver of the Ford was a 17-year-old boy -- who had a 12-year-old passenger. Both boys were hospitalized in stable condition.

Investigators believe the 17-year-old veered across his lane and into oncoming traffic -- colliding with Byrd's car ... and killing him.

So, why did the car veer in the first place?

Cops tell TMZ Sports there was nothing at the scene to lead police to believe the 17-year-old was drunk. However, blood was drawn and is being tested to see if there was anything in his system.

We asked if the driver could have been distracted by his phone at the time of the crash -- we were told, "The driver's phone was off when officers arrived."

Cops are still investigating.

Tom Brady says he walked offstage when asked about Donald Trump's "locker room talk" because he didn't want to be a "distraction for the team" ... but says he still considers Trump a friend.

Brady called in to the "Kirk & Callahan Show" on Monday -- when he was asked to expand on his relationship with Trump.

"I met him probably 15, 16 years ago," Brady said ... "We’ve played golf together many, many times and I’ve always had a good time with him."

"He’s been a friend of mine. He’s supported our team. He’s supported the Patriots. He’s been on the Patriots sideline a lot. He’s always called me after games to encourage me over the course of 15 years. That’s kind of the way it is."

When asked why he shut down the "locker room talk" question last week -- Brady said, "It’s just the way it is right now."

"Obviously there’s a lot of headlines to make, and I’ve tried not to make a lot of headlines. I’ve been in an organization where we’re taught to say very little, we have respect for our opponents and we don’t do the trash-talking."

"The thing I’ve always thought is I don’t want to be a distraction for the team. That’s what my goal is. Not that there are things I’ve said and done that haven’t been, but you try not to be. It’s just hard enough to win and prepare without the distractions so when you start having the distractions it’s even harder to prepare."

So, is Brady even gonna vote?

Wrestling fans in Puerto Rico got one helluva show Sunday night ... when suspended WWE superstar Paige climbed in the ring ... and POPPED THE QUESTION to Alberto Del Rio!

ADR was facing off against Carlito at a WWC event -- when his longtime GF got past the ropes and dropped down to one knee.

FYI, Alberto is still reportedly married ... though he's currently going through divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Angela, in Mexico.

As for Paige, she talked about the proposal after the match -- saying the two are a wrestling couple so "the cheesier the better."

Mission accomplished.

If O.J. Simpson wants a sit-down with "O.J. Simpson" -- Cuba Gooding Jr. says he's all the way down ... all The Juice has to do is call.

Cuba -- who famously played the killer in "The People v. O.J. Simpson" -- says he hasn't heard a peep from the disgraced 69-year-old since the series wrapped up ... but he's down for a face to face and explains why.

FYI, Simpson is eligible for parole in 2017 stemming from his armed robbery conviction ... so, see ya at Starbucks??

A father and his son have been arrested in connection with the death of Tyson Gay's 15-year-old daughter ... after officials say they were in a shootout with a 21-year-old man when a stray bullet struck the young girl.

The U.S. Olympic sprinter's daughter, Trinity, was killed early Sunday morning when she was hit in the neck outside the Cook Out restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky around 4 AM.

The father, son duo is 38-year-old Chazerae Taylor and his 19-year-old son D’Markeo -- who cops say were in a shootout with 21-year-old D'Vonta Middlebrooks.

The Taylors have been arrested and charged with wanton endangerment. Middlebrooks was hit with the same charge PLUS a weapons charge.

Seems like Anderson Silva is backing down big time in his war of words with the UFC -- issuing an apology after Dana White called him out.

It all started last week when Silva said he was mistreated and disrespected by the UFC-- especially after taking a short-notice fight with Daniel Cormier at UFC 200 back in July.

White went on "Speak for Yourself" on FS1 and told Jason Whitlock he took major issue with Silva's comments saying Silva is a guy who has been "far from mistreated."

Fast forward to Saturday night when TMZ Sports saw Silva and asked about the situation -- to which he said, "You know, definitely I need to say sorry for everything that happened."

He continued, "Because you know, Dana White is Dana White."

Sounds like an apology to us ...

Vikings star Anthony Barr says Minnesota's M.V.P. may NOT be on the field ... it might be the big guy above ... ya know, Prince!!

Alberto Del Rio and Paige say they're sick and tired of people talking smack about their relationship ... assuring the whole love-hating world that their romance ain't for show ... and they got the tats to prove it.

The happy couple were out in NYC when our camera guy asked why everyone is so interested in whether or not they are actually banging ... or just faking for Paige's "Total Divas" reality show.

Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay's 15-year-old daughter, Trinity was shot and killed early this morning in Kentucky.

According to police ... Trinity was shot in the neck during a shootout between 2 cars in a Lexington restaurant parking lot. Police say she was not in either car, and was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead within an hour.

Tyson is reportedly flying to Kentucky right now. He told a local news station ... "She didn't make it. She was just here last week for fall break ... I have no idea what happened."

Police have located 1 of the vehicles involved and detained 2 persons of interest who were at the scene for questioning. No arrests have been made, though ... and they're still looking for the other vehicle.

Trinity was a high school track athlete herself.
