Josh Gordon Screened By TSA Last Night ... But No Drugs Found

A report that Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon and his posse were stopped by TSA at a Cleveland airport with a pound of weed is completely bogus ... this according to TSA sources.

The original Scout.com report claims Gordon and his security detail were detained at Cleveland Hopkins airport after screeners found the pot in checked baggage. Gordon reportedly denied the pot was his. The report says this was the incident that led to Gordon entering rehab.

But our TSA sources tell us, "The reports you're seeing are totally false."

One highly connected TSA source explains, "Gordon was screened by TSA last night (Thursday) without incident."

The source also says there has been no TSA trouble with Gordon recently. We also spoke with the Cleveland PD which also shot down the report.

Boxer Tyson Fury Tests Positive For Cocaine

Cocaine's a helluva drug ... and it will probably cost boxer Tyson Fury his championship belts.

The boxer -- who just pulled out of his Oct. 29th rematch with Wladimir Klitschko -- has tested positive for coke ... multiple sources tell ESPN.

Fury's people had said he pulled out because he was "medically unfit" -- but now we know the boxer had failed a Sept. 22nd urine test.

Fury -- the current WBO, WBA and IBO heavyweight champ -- will likely be stripped of his belts and faces further punishment.

The UFC superstar -- and avid pot enthusiast -- was a guest on Snoop's GGN Network show ... where the two appeared to smoke some weed and hang out.

Just last week, Diaz lit up with Tommy Chong ... and before that, he kicked it with Snoop backstage at one of the rapper's shows.

The rift between D'Angelo Russell and his former Lakers coach Byron Scott is irreparable -- so says Scott who tells TMZ Sports he doesn't want a relationship with the NBA star moving forward.

Russell has been taking thinly veiled shots at Scott recently -- essentially blaming him for his lackluster rookie season.

"Everything I went through was new, and there was no guidance from the people that were supposed to give me the guidance," Russell told the L.A. Times.

So, when we saw Scott out in L.A. Thursday night, we asked how he felt about the youngster -- and he basically told us he doesn't care ... and isn't looking to be friends with the 20-year-old.

We also asked Scott if he was interested in getting back into coaching in the near future -- his response, "No time soon."

NY Giants head coach Ben McAdoo just got a vote of confidence from his boss Steve Tisch -- who says he strongly believes Ben and Odell Beckham can work out their issues after OBJ's week 3 outburst.

Beckham seemed upset after McAdoo said the wide receiver was a "distraction" to himself and his teammates -- when he exploded on the sideline during the Giants' loss to the Redskins.

FYI, Beckham appeared to cry on the sidelines and got violent with a kicking net.

Beckham chalked up McAdoo's comments as "he said, she said" talk -- and said his focus was on facing the Vikings on Monday night.

Olympic Legend John Carlos Warns Shaq Over Kaep Criticism You're On the Wrong Side of History

U.S. Olympic legend John Carlos -- who famously raised the black power fist at the '68 Games -- is warning Shaquille O'Neal about criticizing Colin Kaepernick's protest ... saying he's going to wind up on the wrong side of history.

Earlier this month, Shaq was adamant he would never follow Kaep's lead, cited relatives in law enforcement and military, and said, "There are other ways to get your point across."

Well, that obviously struck a chord with 71-year-old Carlos, who was in D.C. to be honored by President Obama at the White House.

He told TMZ Sports, "To Shaq and all the other guys that want to be the naysayers to what Kaepernick is doing, all I can say to them is they better be careful on how they gonna come out ... on which side of history they're gonna come out in the future."

Derrick Rose Judge Shoots Down Pseudonym Appeal 'This Is Not a State Secrets Case'

The judge in the Derrick Rose rape case reaffirmed his decision and will NOT allow the accuser to use a pseudonym during the trial ... saying, "This is not a state secrets case."

As we previously reported, the accuser had asked the judge to reconsider after he previously ruled that she must use her real name. But in a hearing Thursday afternoon, the judge shot her down.

"This is not a state secrets case," Judge Michael Fitzgerald said ... adding that the media could easily find out her real name.

The judge also admonished the accuser for fighting to protect her identity when her name is already known to many people and can be easily discovered by the media.

The trial is set to begin on October 4th.

Rory McIlroy was upstaged by a heckler in the gallery at the Ryder Cup Thursday morning -- when the golfer missed a putt multiple times ... and an American heckler came out and showed him how it's done!

Rory was doing a practice round at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota when he got to the 6th hole and ran into some trouble on the green.

The heckler essentially told Rory he could do it better ... so Henrik Stenson challenged the guy to come out on the course and hit it himself.

Golfer Justin Rose even put up $100 to the heckler if he made the shot.

Well, guess what -- HE DRAINED THE 12 FOOT PUTT ... while wearing jeans and what appeared to be house slippers!!!

Rory wasn't bitter -- in fact, he gave the guy a hug and helped him celebrate.

Manny Pacquiao says he's no stranger to drug use -- admitting that he tried "all kinds of drugs" before he became a boxing champion.

Pacquiao was talking about Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte and his plan to crack down on drug dealers in his home country ... when he delved into his own history with drugs.

"I tried drugs ... many kinds of drugs, all kinds of drugs," Pacquiao reportedly said during an interview in his senate office in the Philippines.

He noted the drug use occurred "before I became a champion."

President Duterte's crackdown has reportedly led to the deaths of more than 3,000 people -- but Pacquiao says he fully supports it because Duterte was chosen by God to "discipline the people."

Police officials in the Philippines say 3,171 drug dealers and users have been killed -- two thirds of which occurred at the hands of unknown assailants. The other 1/3 were killed by police.

Boxer Victor Ortiz The DUI Mug Shot

TMZ Sports has obtained the mug shot for ex-boxing champ Victor Ortiz -- taken right after he was arrested for DUI on Saturday.

We broke the story ... the 29-year-old former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant was pulled over in California for expired tags on his BMW -- and during the stop, cops suspected he was drunk.

Ortiz -- who is on probation stemming from a 2015 battery conviction -- was arrested and taken to a nearby station where he was booked for driving under the influence.

He has since been released. So far, no comment from his camp.
