TMZ Sports has obtained a pic of the handwritten apology note Johnny Manziel sent to the guy he fought with before a wedding in Hawaii last week ... in which he admits he "should never have done that."

Bizarre footage of the moments before Jacksonville Jaguars running back Denard Robinson's car crashed into a pond -- and you can see the vehicle aimlessly drifting across several lanes of traffic.

The footage shows the Chevy Impala slowly drifting into oncoming traffic around 4:20 AM on July 3rd ... before it ultimately goes over an embankment and into a retention pond.

Cops responded to the scene and had to pull Robinson and a female passenger out of the sinking car. Cops say Robinson and the woman were asleep as the car was sinking.

The son of NBA legend Moses Malone told cops the men who attacked and robbed him at gunpoint outside of a Houston strip club were looking to "punish" him for disrespecting James Harden in a Facebook post.

TMZ Sports has learned ... the D.A. has charged 4 men for the June 25th incident -- in which Moses Malone Jr. says he was pulling up to V Live when he was rushed by a group of guys who threatened him over the Facebook post. Malone claims he was beaten down, someone snatched his $50k chain and at least one person in the group flashed a 9mm handgun.

Malone told cops one of the alleged assailants -- Darian Blount -- is a bouncer at V Live ... and Harden is a "prominent customer at the location."

Malone told cops the men were upset that Moses had gone to Facebook to publicly criticize the cost of Harden's youth basketball camp in the days before the incident.

According to the criminal complaint, obtained by TMZ Sports, Malone told cops ... Blount said, "he had disrespected James Harden and that he need to be punished after that."

Blount and the 3 other men have each been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

Another hair transformation for Jeremy Lin ... this time, he's taking his cue from The Game -- and rockin' french braids!

Lin just debuted his new look -- right before he was officially introduced as one of the new members of the Brooklyn Nets.

It's not the first time Lin's mixed up the hair look -- he's rocked the mohawk, the man bun and the Miley Cyrus.

Ex-Baylor football star Shawn Oakman has been charged with sexual assault after allegedly raping a woman at his Waco apartment back in April.

24-year-old Oakman -- who was a projected high NFL draft pick before he was arrested -- was indicted on the charge of 2nd degree sexual assault.

Officials investigated the incident -- and Wednesday morning, the McLennan County District Attorney's office presented the case to a grand jury. The grand jury decided there was enough evidence to hit Oakman with the sexual assault charge.

As we previously reported, the accuser claims Oakman brought her back to his place after meeting at a bar and forced her into his bedroom, tore her clothes off and raped her.

For his part, Oakman adamantly denied any wrongdoing -- and says the sex was consensual.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union got the ultimate police escort in China Wednesday -- a moving human wall of hand-holding Chinese police officers dedicated to keep the stars safe ... at the mall.

The two are on a Chinese mall tour to promote Dwyane's clothing line, Way of Wade -- you can hear the crowds chanting the brand's name as they arrived to the store.

But the most impressive part of the video is how the cops came together like Voltron -- linking hands to form a moving barrier around the two.

A champion big mountain skiier was killed during an avalanche in Chile -- after she was caught in a snowstorm while shooting scenes for an upcoming video game.

The skiier is 30-year-old Matilda Rapaport -- who was in the Andes mountains near Santiago to work on the Ubisoft game "Steep" when she was caught in an avalanche on Thursday and trapped beneath the snow.

33-year-old David Lee says he's FINALLY going to vote for the first time in his life ... and he just might check the box for Donald Trump.

Lee was out in Bev Hills when he told us Trump has definitely piqued his interest -- especially since "normally a lot of the republican stuff is pretty boring to watch."

We're told the shoes aren't made entirely from gold. They're a mix of gold and other materials, including parts of real shoe. Each shoe is around 16 inches long and weighs 20 lbs.

UFC honcho Dana White took the stage Tuesday evening at the Republican National Convention and praised Donald Trump as a loyal friend who's had his back since day 1.

White opened his speech by saying "I'm sure most of you are wondering, 'What are you doing here?'" -- but went on to explain how Donald was the first person to support UFC when White and his partners bought the business in 2001.

Long story short, White says Trump is the kind of fighter America needs ... and has all the tools to be a kickass president.

White appeared on the "TMZ Sports" TV show a while back and explained why he's Team Trump for life.
