George Foreman Muhammad Ali Loved Joe Frazier ... Name-Calling Was An Act
George Foreman says the legendarily nasty public feud between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier was actually friendly behind closed doors ... telling TMZ Sports the two men secretly loved each other.
The war between Ali and Frazier is well-known -- Ali called him names like "gorilla" and "Uncle Tom" -- which reportedly wounded Frazier until his death in 2011.
In fact, Frazier famously expressed his distaste for Ali in a 1990 interview -- "I hated Ali. God might not like me talking that way, but I hated that man. First he made me a white man, then he made me a n****r.”
"How would you like it if your kids came home from school crying because everyone was calling their daddy a gorilla?"
But when Foreman -- who called Ali his "best friend" -- joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs tonight on FS1) ... we asked if Ali privately regretted taking things so far with his old foe.
Check out the clip ... Foreman says he was tight with both men and knows they all had love for each other.
"Whatever names we were called, they were all taken as a joke."
**Check out the entire interview on "TMZ Sports" tonight at 9 PM PT, 12 ET on FS1**

UFC Champ Stipe Miocic I'm Down to Fight Brock Lesnar ... He'll Lose.
If Brock Lesnar wants a second UFC comeback fight, he may already have a taker -- heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic ... who says he's absolutely down to rumble with "The Next Big Thing."
We spoke with Miocic moments ago who told us he's excited to see Lesnar get back in the octagon -- but expressed concern over the fact BL's been out of the fight game for a couple years and could be rusty.
But if Brock crushes Mark Hunt at UFC 200 and wants a shot at the title -- Miocic says bring it on ... though he's pretty damn confident things won't work out well for Lesnar.
By the way, Miocic already fought Hunt in 2015 and kicked his ass.

Gilbert Arenas says he's sorry he said "f*** my kids" during an argument with his ex -- but says he didn't mean it, and blames Laura Govan for "setting me up."
An audio recording of the conversation was released on "The Breakfast Club" radio show this morning -- and while Gilbert admits it's authentic, he says he did not know he was being recorded.
"Yes I said it ... NOT in the meaning as a #deadbeatdad BUT the meaning of a man who was frustrated of fighting a evil demon everyday," Arenas said in an Instagram statement.
"I was letting [Govan] know NOT even the kids will save u. She thinks she can [leverage] me and the kids, she uses the kids to fight her battles."
Gilbert says he believes Govan leaked the tape -- but says he does not plan to take any sort of legal action over it.
In fact, Gilbert says he will not move to strip Laura of custody because he believes "kids need both parents in they lives."
He added that he loves all of his kids.

Willem Dafoe Who Wants My Super Bowl Dress?
Think you got better legs than Willem Dafoe? You might get your chance to prove it ... 'cause the Marilyn Monroe dress he donned for his Super Bowl 50 commercial is hitting the auction block.
You remember the clip ... Dafoe rocked a replica white dress from Marilyn's legendary subway grate scene from "The Seven Year Itch" for a Snickers commercial. Funny stuff.
Now, the folks at Julien's Auctions got their hands on it -- and are putting it up for grabs at their Monroe-themed auction in September.
So, how much is it going to go for?
Hopefully A LOT -- because all proceeds will benefit Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger relief organization.
FYI, Marilyn's original white dress went for over $4.6 million at auction back in 2011 when Debbie Reynolds -- another Hollywood legend -- sold it from her private collection.
That's a WHOLE LOTTA candy bars.

Baylor's Shawn Oakman '13 Domestic Violence Pics Show Minor Injuries
