SoulCycle Sued I Got Creamed on Your Damn Cycle

Published | Updated

SoulCycle's crappy instructors and faulty bikes are to blame for a catastrophic ankle injury ... so claims a very disgruntled customer.

Carmen Farias claims in a new lawsuit she showed up to spin class in 2014 and, since she was a newbie, she expected someone would show her how to use the bikes. Farias says she started riding but quickly tired and the instructor barked, "We don't take breaks."

Farias says she was so embarrassed she soldiered on, as her feet were locked to the pedals. She says she became so fatigued she fell off the bike with her feet still strapped in ... but the momentum of the fly wheel kept the pedals turning, and each rotation caused ankle dislocation.

She blames the bikes and lack of instruction for what she claims are catastrophic ankle injuries.

We reached out to SoulCycle, but they declined to comment.

George Foreman There'll Never Be Another Ali 'I Lost My Best Friend'

Published | Updated

George Foreman says he lost his best friend when Muhammad Ali died Friday night ... but the former heavyweight champ tells TMZ Sports he takes solace knowing Ali would've been touched by the outpouring of affection.

Ali and Foreman squared off in the 1974 "Rumble in the Jungle" -- maybe boxing's most legendary match. Ali handed Foreman his first loss. Years later, they became close friends.

Foreman told us about his last interaction with Ali:

"Last year, at the end of the year, I spent some time with him in Louisville. Got to whisper in his ear. He was sickly, but he knew who he was. His mind, his brain, was always together. You could sneak up and give him a kiss. He just couldn't move much."

As for the reverence coming from every corner of the world ... Foreman says, "All Muhammad ever wanted was to be loved. He wanted love. And the world has shown today that they really love him. It wasn't a put on."

Foreman says Ali truly was "The Greatest" ... and that extended well beyond the boxing ring.

"Muhammad Ali was like a total eclipse. We won't see that again. Saying he was a great boxer, that's making him too small. He was a great man."

Muhammad Ali 'The Greatest' Dead at 74

Published | Updated

Muhammad Ali has died in a Phoenix-area hospital where he was battling respiratory issues ... according to a family spokesman.

The legendary boxer and humanitarian was 74 years old. He had checked into the hospital on Thursday and reps said he was in fair condition, but on Friday his health worsened throughout the day.

The family says his funeral will be held in Ali's hometown of Louisville, although the spokesman didn't specify a date. NBC News first reported his death.

Ali will be remembered as one of the most recognized figures worldwide -- after winning boxing's heavyweight title 3 different times ... with the first coming in a KO of Sonny Liston in 1964.

He was as famous for his boxing matches -- the "Rumble in the Jungle," the "Thrilla in Manila" -- as quotes like, "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

Ali, born Cassius Clay, changed his name and converted to Islam in 1964. He also famously refused to enter the Vietnam War in 1967 as a conscientious objector.

Although he was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1984 ... Ali remained very active at international events in and out of the sporting world. His lighting of the Olympic flame at the 1996 Atlanta games is considered one of the most iconic images in Olympic history.

The champ is survived by his wife Yolanda Williams and 9 children -- 7 daughters, 2 sons -- including Laila Ali, who became an undefeated boxing champ herself.

When he retired in 1981, Ali had 56 wins, 5 losses and 37 knockouts.

He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990 ... and will always hold the title of "The Greatest."

Muhammad Ali Obama Praises the Greatest

Published | Updated

Muhammad Ali was an inspiration, a hero, to President Obama ... who praised the champ as the man "who fought for what was right."

The President

Ali ... quoting the champ who once said, "I am America. I am the part you won't recognize. But get used to me -- black, confident, cocky; my name, not yours; my religion, not yours; my goals, my own. Get used to me."

Obama knew Ali and displayed a coveted pair of gloves in the study outside the Oval Office, right under the iconic pic of then Cassius Clay knocking out Sonny Liston.

It's a moving tribute ... worth reading for sure.
