It's one of the biggest mysteries in the history of hip-hop ... Which Knicks player was robbed by the Notorious B.I.G. after he walked in on Biggie banging his GF?

According to Fat Joe it was Anthony Mason ... and Joe made this BOMBSHELL revelation while talking with the guys on ESPN's "Highly Questionable" Monday morning.

The song is legendary ... called "I Got A Story To Tell," it chronicles Biggie's one night stand with a Knicks player's GF that almost ended up deadly when the unnamed player arrived home early.

Biggie maintained the story was true ... but for years we didn't know who it was until Joe spilled the beans earlier today.

Kevin Durant's getting more hardware to add to his collection ... this time, it's a special HERO AWARD -- after the NBA superstar helped clear traffic for an ambulance responding to an emergency.

The Oklahoma Emergency Medical Services Authority -- which operates the largest fleet of ambulances in OK -- tells TMZ Sports a special medal is already being engraved for Durant for his actions over the weekend.

In case you haven't heard ... Durant pulled up next an ambulance in his Ferrari and used his flashers to help clear road space. Paramedics say Durant's actions helped them navigate through the traffic.

Now, the EMSA tells TMZ Sports, "Kevin’s actions are exactly how we hope citizens help paramedics reach their calls for emergencies. He is a great example of doing his part to help those in need, and he handled it with such modesty.”

Kevin will receive the special "Everyday Hero" award -- which, we're told, is usually only given out about 4 times a year.

The EMSA says it hoped to give KD his medal this week -- but can't because he's busy with the playoffs.

He's been a god in New Orleans for 10 years ... so, we had to ask Drew Brees -- what's the BEST thing to eat in all of the Big Easy?!!?

FYI, New Orleans routinely ranks as one of the best food cities in the U.S -- so there's A LOT to choose from.

Boxing superstar Tyson Fury says he realizes his insanely offensive statements about Jews and transgender people have "been viewed by some" as offensive ... and so, he's sorta (not really) apologizing.

As we previously reported, the heavyweight champ went on a vile rant about transgenders -- calling them "freaks of nature" -- and accusing the Jews of running a global brainwashing scheme.

Moments ago, Tyson's team issued a statement about last week's interview saying, "Mr Fury made comments that have been viewed by some as offensive."

The statement continued, "Mr Fury would like to apologise to anyone who may have taken offence to these comments."

There's more ... "He has many friends of a wide range of backgrounds and races and wishes no ill to anyone of any race, religion or sexual orientation."

The statement included quotes from Fury ... "I apologise to anyone who may have taken offence at any of my comments. I said some things, which may have hurt some people, which as a Christian man is not something I would ever want to do."

Then he blamed the media ...

"Though it is not an excuse, sometimes the heightened media scrutiny has caused me to act out in public."

Then doubled down on the whole "I'm not a bigot" thing ...

"Anyone who knows me personally knows that I am in no way a racist or bigot and I hope the public accept this apology.”

Good news ... Serena Williams is finally recovered from that whole dog food mishap (R.I.P. toilet) -- and just showed off the inside of her HUUUUGE apartment in Paris -- and it's awesome.

First off, Paris is one of the most expensive cities in the world when it comes to real estate -- so when you see the size of this place, you know Serena dropped SERIOUS CASH to buy it.

It looked worse than it actually was ... because Jose Bautista did NOT require any sort of medical attention after taking that hard overhand right to the face this weekend, TMZ Sports has learned.

We spoke with Bautista's agent, Jay Alou, who tells us straight up -- "Everything is fine, Jose didn't require any medical attention."

Alou added, "It's unfortunate this happened. Kids don't need to see that."

Bautista got into it with Texas Rangers 2nd baseman Rougned Odor over the weekend -- with Odor landing a pretty clean shot to the grill.

Check out Cam Newton's pimped out 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass -- which was custom plated with real 24 karat gold ... TMZ Sports has learned.

We spoke with the people at Monster Customs in Marietta, Georgia who told us Cam brought in the car a few months ago and wanted to fully upgrade the whip ... from the guts to the exterior.

"We redid the entire car," owner Terry Dobbs told us ... "Fixed the motor. Alcantara leather on the inside with gold stitching in a diamond pattern, new carpet, bigger wheels, new sound system."

And get this ... Cam told the guys that the car would "lean" when some of his bigger friends got in the ride (looking at you, linemen) ... so Monster put a new air-ride system in the whip which levels it out.

And the crowning jewel -- a custom 24k gold plated panther head on the grill ... along with the initials "C1N."

All in all, we're told the car had roughly $45k worth of work done.

Bill Cosby has made it next to impossible for entertainers and athletes to get insurance companies to write them adequate policies protecting them from lawsuits.

Various well connected sources in the insurance industry tell us, the flood of accusations and lawsuits against Cosby has scared insurance companies, which now realize the comedian's insurance company may have to pay out tens of millions of dollars to his alleged victims.

It all centers around umbrella policies ... which allow people to get massive supplements to their homeowners and auto policies. Celebs with lots of money often get umbrella policies that will cover $20 million to $30 million in lawsuit judgments.

We're told in recent years insurance companies have been reluctant to write umbrella policies for high-profile people -- especially athletes. Our sources say it goes beyond celebs who commit misdeeds. Insurance companies know high-profile people have become targets for people who just want to make a quick buck.

The man who owns the Nevada brothel where Lamar Odom overdosed last year says he wants L.O. back -- offering free women and booze ... but is adamant, absolutely NO DRUGS THIS TIME!!

So, why would anyone think this is a good idea?

We spoke with Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof who says sex and alcohol weren't Lamar's issues -- it was drugs. So as long as Lamar stays clean, why not go back to a place he enjoyed?

Hof says he has a strict NO DRUGS policy at his place -- and thinks the companionship and some Remy Martin at the Love Ranch could be good for Lamar.

"First night and 2 girls are on me," Hof said ... "plus all the Remy Martin you can drink."

Hof says he will personally ensure L.O.'s privacy -- shutting down the security cams and collecting all phones.

As for people who will be critical of his offer, Hof says -- "Don't forget, the people who work here are the one's who saved his life. We truly care about him."

Warren Sapp is officially out of the woods ... finally off probation after a tumultuous 2015, a year that included charges for prostitution and domestic violence.

Let's not forget how totally screwed Sapp was this time last year ...

He was arrested for prostitution in Arizona in Feb. 2015 ... and a few months later, cops in Vegas popped him for domestic violence. Officials say he stomped on his girlfriend's head and bit her.

Sapp cut a huge deal to keep him out of jail in the hooker case -- officials would drop the charges when he finished counseling. But if he got in trouble before he completed the classes, all bets were off.

Fast forward to April 2015, the domestic violence incident. He got 6 months probation in that case ... while prosecutors in AZ argued that the incident violated the terms of their deal.

In fact, AZ prosecutors begged the judge to throw Sapp in jail! But the NFL star dodged a bullet (proving he completed the classes right before the Vegas arrest) ... and the charges were dropped.

Now, we've learned his Vegas probation is over ... so, for all intents and purposes, Sapp has a clean slate.

Don't screw it up.

There could be a serious battle brewing in the NY Giants locker room ... a dance battle ... 'cause Rashad Jennings says he'd take out Odell Beckham Jr. if they both end up on 'DTWS.'

Rashad previously told us his dream was to do 'DWTS' ... but lately Odell's name is connected to the show ... after he crashed Von Miller's rehearsal and drew rave reviews from Miller's dance partner.

So, when we saw Rashad out in NYC we asked ... if both men got their shot on the same season of 'Dancing' who would come away as the MVP of the mambo?
