Conor McGregor Death Threat Reports are Bogus ... Rep Says

Published | Updated

Conor McGregor is NOT in fear for his life ... despite reports to the contrary, his rep tells TMZ Sports.

Media outlets in Ireland reported that McGregor hit a celebrity event in Dublin last week with two security guards in tow due to credible death threats that had been made against the UFC star.

But Conor's rep Audie Attar says it simply ain't true -- "Yes we have security, no not due to death threats."

"Security is in everyone's best interest and for everyone's safety."

Bottom line -- no one wants to kill Conor ... except for Nate Diaz.

HEAR THEM OUT

Don't ever question Mark Cuban's work ethic -- 'cause the guy was so determined to make the Mavs a success after he bought the team, he PERSONALLY cold called hundreds of people to sell tickets.

It's a pretty impressive story ... Cuban says he's all about getting in the trenches and doing the work himself if duty calls -- and back when the Mavs sucked, duty definitely called.

One other thing ... Cuban says he respects the hell out of telemarketers -- and instead of hanging up on 'em (like most people), he listens to the pitch and offers feedback!!!

Watch the clip. Take notes.

Jeremy Roenick Bieber's a Fighter Would Beat Orlando Bloom's Ass

Published | Updated

Don't underestimate Justin Bieber -- 'cause if push comes to shove with Orlando Bloom (again), NHL legend Jeremy Roenick says he's taking the Biebs ALL DAY.

Turns out, Roenick is a huuuge Justin Bieber fan ... like, big ... and says JB's got too much going on in his life to worry about Bloom getting cozy with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez again.

Remember, Bloom and Bieber got physical over a woman back in 2014 -- when an altercation broke out at a restaurant in Ibiza.

Well, Roenick says if the two come to blows again ... Bloom better watch his ass 'cause Justin's bigger and stronger than ever.

Jeremy also issues some dating advice for the Biebs -- don't worry about one girl ... there are too many fish in the sea and they all want to bang you.

But Jerry Jones wasn't just there to enjoy the show ... he was backstage glad-handing with some VIPs, including DJ Khaled.

Khaled called it "mogul talk" ... it was more like "mogul exchanging pleasantries."

Still cool though.

The Montreal Canadiens superstar was out at The Nice Guy in Hollywood Monday night -- when we asked him what it was like being one of only 20 black players in the league in 2015.

Nerlens Noel I Didn't Trash That House ... Denies Death Threat

Published | Updated

Nerlens Noel says he's NOT the renter from hell -- claiming allegations he absolutely destroyed the Philly home he was renting last year are pure B.S. ... adding that he never threatened to kill the owners.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... the 76ers star was sued for more than $40,000 by the property owners who say the 22-year-old trashed the place so bad, the place looked like a bomb went off inside.

Among the accusations ... carpet destruction, toilets clogged with cotton balls and feces, water damage, broken appliances and allegations he left a tombstone on the front step as a death threat.

Now, Noel has finally fired back in legal docs of his own -- adamantly denying he went "Project X" on the place. In fact, Nerlens says he tried to work with the owners to repair the carpet damage even though he wasn't entirely convinced he damaged them in the first place.

But Nerlens is clearly most upset about the tombstone allegation -- insisting it was just a Halloween decoration that was left on the property a few weeks before the holiday ... and doesn't amount to a threat.

Nerlens wants the whole case thrown out, stat ... and we're guessing he'll never rent from these people again.
