Broner was out in NYC copping some new bling at Avianne & Co when our camera guy decided to ask a question central to understanding the way a real man thinks.

When the going gets tough, you DON'T REQUEST A TRADE -- so says Terrell Owens who says Sam Bradford's antics in Philly are straight up cowardly.

T.O. was hangin' at The Grove in L.A. when we asked the ex-Eagles superstar who should start for the Birds at QB this season ... Bradford or rookie prodigy Carson Wentz?

"It's Sam Bradford's job to lose," Owens said.

But when we started talking about Bradford's trade demand -- T.O. busted out the real talk.

"I think it was not a great move for Sam to want to request a trade being that they were getting a #1 pick."

"If it were me ... that's kind of a sign of a coward, to be honest."

L.A. Rams rookie tight end Tyler Higbee pled NOT GUILTY to assaulting a man outside of a Kentucky bar back in April -- in an incident where Higbee allegedly hurled racial slurs at a Middle Eastern man.

Higbee was arrested on April 10th -- after officials say Higbee beat up Nawaf Alsaleh so badly, he gave the guy a concussion and a brain hemorrhage.

A witness told police that before the incident, Higbee and another man had been hurling slurs at Alsaleh such as "f*** ISIS" and "white power."

According to the police report, Higbee denied most of the slurs -- but admitted saying, "Watch out, Haji" after he punched him in the face.

Cops say Higbee initially fled the scene -- and officers gave chase -- with Higbee trying to hide behind a tree next to a church. He was eventually discovered and arrested. Cops say he was drunk.

Higbee was later charged with 2nd degree assault, 2nd degree evading police and public intoxication.

He's pled not guilty to all charges -- with his attorney insisting the 24-year-old was only acting in self defense after Alsaleh got aggressive and physical with Tyler and his girlfriend.

Donald Trump tells TMZ Sports ... he will NOT attend the Canelo Alvarez vs. Amir Khan fight in Vegas on Saturday ... turning down a personal invitation from the fight's promoter Oscar De La Hoya.

De La Hoya had invited Trump to the fight on Wednesday -- and ODLH had told media Trump had confirmed he would attend.

But Trump tells us ... it ain't happening, he will NOT be at the fight.

A well-dressed Johnny Manziel just appeared in court in his domestic violence case -- where the judge told him straight up ... DO NOT CONTACT COLLEEN CROWLEY.

When it comes to policy, Miesha Tate says Donald Trump has one thing 100% right ... his blinding hatred for Ronda Rousey!

It was cooking session meets gym session for Patriots safety Patrick Chung this week -- when he stopped a culinary exhibition to do some deep squats ... with a famous chef on his back!

Chung teamed up with celebrity super chef Ming Tsai (you know him from "Top Chef," 'Iron Chef,' etc.) for a fundraiser for Family Reach foundation ... which provides financial aid to families of cancer patients.

But while Chung was prepping his famous jerk chicken dish -- Tsai challenged him to do some squats while carrying him on his back!

Chung accepted ... and beasted out in front of the crowd -- and they loved it!!

They also loved the food -- we're told Chung's got real skills in the kitchen.

Johnny Manziel turned himself in to authorities in Texas moments ago -- and was booked for misdemeanor assault in his domestic violence case ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The ex-NFL star gave a smirk during his mug shot.

He was released on $1,500 bond -- and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning in Dallas.

Manziel is accused of beating up his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, back in January. She filed a restraining order against him claiming she was in fear for her life. She also claimed Manziel ruptured her eardrum.

If convicted on the assault charge, Manziel faces up to a year in jail.

Police tell us Manziel wasn't in the station very long, and was polite and cooperative.

Wrestling legend Bobby "The Brain" Heenan has been hospitalized after falling at his home in Florida ... and his wife says he'll be there for a couple of days.

The 71-year-old was admitted to the hospital Wednesday morning due to injuries from the fall, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet ... but doctors are concerned about his blood pressure.

Bobby's wife, Cynthia, says he'll remain at the hospital for at least 72 hours.

Donald Trump "outright cheated" during a golf outing with Oscar De La Hoya ... so says the boxer himself who claims Trump resorted to dirty tricks just to beat him on the links.

Oscar was on "The Score" radio show in Vegas when he recanted his golf match with Trump at Donald's own golf course in Los Angeles.

"I witnessed it. He outright cheated," Oscar said ... "not once, not twice but 3 times."

You gotta listen to Oscar tell the story ... the Golden Boy says he was cracking up the entire time because "you have a man who's a billionaire and he has to cheat just to say he beat me."

MMA fighter Jordan Parsons has died ... days after he was struck by a Range Rover in a hit and run incident in Florida. He was 25.

"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a dear member of the Bellator family, Jordan Parsons," Bellator MMA President Scott Coker said in a statement.

Parsons was 11-2 as an MMA fighter -- and was a part of the famed Blackzilians training group with stars like Anthony "Rumble" Johnson and Rashad Evans.

"Jordan was an exceptional athlete and a rising star in the sport. But more importantly, he was an exceptional young man," Coker added.

"Jordan was hard-working, dedicated, intelligent, and a pleasure to be around. He represented all the reasons we love this sport. It is a terribly tragic loss and our thought and prayers go out to his family, friends and teammates."

Parsons was struck by the car while crossing a street early Sunday morning. Officials believe Parsons may have been wearing headphones and was unable to hear the car approaching.

Cops are still looking for the driver of the car that hit Parsons and have vowed to prosecute that person to the fullest extent of the law.

Yasiel Puig's dream of getting a helicopter to help him beat L.A. traffic isn't getting off the ground after all ... and it's all because the Dodgers didn't think it was a good idea.

Puig's close friend and personal car customizer, Alex Vega, had previously told us Puig was dead serious about buying a chopper ... a la Kobe ... and had already drawn up plans to pimp it out.

But the Dodgers weren't as keen on the idea as Puig was ... and according to Vega, team reps strongly advised him against the purchase.

"The Dodgers told him he couldn't have it ... It was causing so much distraction they didn't want him to get it."

We reached out to the Dodgers -- they had no comment.

Btw, federal law prohibits Puig from flying a helicopter to Dodger Stadium anyway ... so, he'd have to land nearby and fight traffic to the park like everyone else ... which defeats the purpose.

UCLA football star Ishmael Adams is finally facing the music for an alleged attack on an Uber driver last year -- but he won't do any jail time ... TMZ Sports has learned.

As we previously reported ... Adams was arrested for battery back in August after allegedly getting violent with an Uber driver in front of a police station in Westwood. The driver claimed Adams was drunk and belligerent.

Now, officials confirm Adams copped a plea deal with prosecutors -- in which he agreed to plead no contest to misdemeanor battery and in exchange he got 3 years probation.

Kobe Bryant might wanna think twice about the whole retirement thing ... 'cause Diamond Dallas Page says his yoga plan might be able to extend his career -- just like he did for WWE legend Chris Jericho!

Page just got off a plane from Australia when he told us he'd LOOOOVE to get Kobe into his trademark "DDP Yoga" program ... specifically created for athletes who suffered injuries from high impact sports.

DDP says it's worked for wrestlers ... so, why not give it a shot with an NBA player?

As for Trump, Broner appeared on "The Breakfast Club" and openly stumped for The Donald -- telling Charlamagne Tha God that he's voting for DT because he'll help save money on taxes!
