A bunch of drunk guys on a bachelor party weekend thought it would be funny to dress the groom up like Mike Ditka on Friday and go to Ditka's steakhouse in Chicago.

Turns out ... BEST. IDEA. EVER!!!

The bachelor, David Barnett, lives in Florida -- but his buddies threw the party in Chicago so they could party during NFL Draft weekend. Barnett's also a huge Bears fan.

And because every bachelor party needs drunken buffoonery ... the guys made Barnett dress up like Da Coach for their dinner at Ditka's.

As fate would have it, Mike was actually in the restaurant that night ... heard about his boozy doppelganger ... and came over for a face-to-legendary-face meeting.

Ex-49ers defensive lineman Dana Stubblefield has just been charged with raping a mentally disabled woman in 2015 ... and now faces serious prison time.

Officials say 45-year-old Stubblefield -- a 3-time Pro Bowler -- contacted the woman through a babysitter service and had her over to his Santa Clara home for an interview in 2015.

Justin Verlander put a ring on it ... a MASSIVE ring ... and Kate Upton was all about showing it off at the Met Gala in NYC.

Upton hit the red carpet at the event Monday night sporting the boulder on her finger ... and essentially stole the show from all the other huge stars at the event.

Don't worry, Justin can afford it ... he signed a $180 MILLION contract in 2013.

FYI, Upton started dating the Detroit Tigers pitcher roughly 3 years ago ... and they've been inseparable ever since. Upton has said it helps that she's a big baseball fan.

A bodybuilding legend has a message for Miami Marlins star Dee Gordon -- KICK THE PEDS AND COME TRAIN WITH ME!!!!

We spoke with 2008 Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson -- a 5-TIME Arnold Classic winner -- who says he knows all about Gordon's 80 game suspension for PED use ... and wants to help him train clean.

"I know all the tricks of the trade," Jackson says ... "[training PED-free] is gonna take longer, but you gotta know how to treat your body right."

UFC star Nick Diaz says training with Jean-Claude Van Damme this weekend was a dream come true -- especially since JCVD helped grow his love for fighting back when he was a kid.

Both Nick and his bro Nate Diaz hooked up with the action legend for a clinic in leg strikes -- so, we hit up Nick to find out what exactly went down when the 3 got into the gym.

Check out the clip ... Nick was clearly stoked to train with the guy and says things went so well, he plans to do it again soon.

But the funniest part ... watch how quickly Nick shut down the question when we tried to ask about his brother and Conor McGregor. Dude wasn't havin' it.

The "Commish" is pissed at the "Commish" -- with Michael Chiklis claiming Roger Goodell is making an absolute mockery of the esteemed title.

Of course, Chiklis famously starred as Police Commissioner Tony Scali on "The Commish" back in the day ... and says he learned the term "Commish" must be EARNED.

"The term 'Commish' is a term of endearment bestowed upon a commissioner by his subordinates out of feelings of affection ... it's not one that you endow yourself with as a moniker or a Twitter handle."

He then pointed out that Goodell's Twitter handle is "@nflcommish."

BTW, Chiklis also happens to be a HUUUGE Patriots fan.

COMMISH WAR!!!

The rumors have been swirling for years, but now it's apparently happening ... "Space Jam 2" is in the works -- starring LeBron James.

The MMA fighter who was struck by a car and lost his leg in a hit and run accident may have been wearing headphones that drowned out the sound of the car approaching ... officials say.

The story is absolutely heartbreaking ... 25-year-old Jordan Parsons was crossing a street in Florida early Sunday morning when he was struck by a Range Rover Sport and left with "extreme injuries."

Officials say the RR hit Parsons and fled from the scene -- leaving him with a severe leg wound.

Emergency responders raced to the scene and applied pressure to the leg in hopes to save it -- but the wound proved too severe and it was amputated at a nearby hospital.

Officials say it's unclear who had the right of way -- Parsons or the Range Rover.

Still, the driver should NOT have fled -- and now cops are offering a $1,000 reward for info that leads to an arrest.

Parsons -- who trained with superstars like Rumble Johnson and Rashad Evans -- is still in a coma, according to Evans and a GoFundMe page has been set up to raise money for his medical bills.

1:28 PM PT -- The Delray Beach Police Department released a picture of the mirror that fell off the Range Rover at the scene of the crash.

The U.S. citizen who was held captive in North Korea for 735 days is THANKING Dennis Rodman for helping him get free ... saying The Worm was "the catalyst for my release."

It's shocking considering Rodman famously went on CNN and BACKED UP the case to keep Kenneth Bae in prison -- despite the fact Dennis (or anyone else for that matter) knew why Bae was being held in the first place.

Still, Bae -- who was released in 2014 -- broke his silence about his captivity to CNN ... and said he couldn't be more grateful to Rodman.

"If I meet him someday, I just want to say thank you for what he has done."

Bae said Rodman brought international attention to his plight -- which put pressure on North Korea to set him free.

Bae also said Rodman called his family after the famous rant and apologized. He considered it a "sincere apology."

Rodman's rep, Darren Prince, tells TMZ Sports ... "Dennis is extremely happy that something so positive came out of his trips to Korea and was very appreciate that Kenneth Bae thanked him today."

Shaun White's hair is iconic -- it once got a write-up in GQ -- but now, he's changing it up again ... with some bright red braids.

The snowboarding legend hit up Mammoth Mountain with his pal Louie Vito and a couple of ladies -- and one of 'em decided to change things up on White's head.

The man who got his face cracked open is Vyacheslav Oliynyk -- who won the gold medal at the '96 Olympics in Atlanta.

Oliynyk was reportedly stopped for drunk driving after celebrating his 50th bday -- but an argument broke out and the guy made it clear he wasn't going to jail quietly.

He squared up ... he put his hands on one of the cops ... and then all hell broke loose.

After the brawl, Oliynyk reportedly told local media, "I admit I was partially guilty, I can’t tell you the whole thing. I’m partly guilty because I did not stop and I was ignoring the police."

"But I am not a criminal. As far as I can see there will be a court hearing and they will punish me somehow because they always do. However the fact that police let me go home on the same day shows I didn’t do anything that bad."

Magic Johnson says he can ... and has now called for the Lakers to start pursuing LeBron in case he decides to bolt from Cleveland.

Johnson went to Twitter and said, "The Lakers should call LeBron James agent. We know he's going stay in CLE but they should go after him just in case he leaves."

There's been all sorts of speculation about Bron's future -- especially after he unfollowed the Cavs on Twitter earlier in the season. Johnson sees it as a major opportunity.

But James isn't the only huge star MJ wants to recruit -- "The first free agent the Lakers should go after is Kevin Durant."
