Jessica Chastain is shooting down Kurt Busch's conspiracy theory about his ex-girlfriend -- claiming her character in "Zero Dark Thirty" was ABSOLUTELY NOT based on Patricia Driscoll.

Remember, during their 2015 domestic violence case ... Busch testified that he believed Driscoll was a trained assassin for the U.S. government ... and that she had claimed Maya from "ZD30" was partially based on her.

So, when we got Jessica Chastain out at Baltaire restaurant in L.A. Monday night -- we had to ask her to set the record straight once and for all.

"It's not true," Chastain told us ... "On my life, no."

So, there you have it -- unless that's what the government WANTS you to think!!

For her part, Driscoll has denied being a super assassin.

Johnny Manziel is now admitting he jumped the gun when he told TMZ Sports he was living with Von Miller -- but says the two DID look at houses together.

Manziel went to Instagram to clear up RoomieGate -- writing, "My bad V ... We were looking for some houses together didn't mean to get you caught up!"

Over the weekend, Manziel clearly told our photog the two were living together in L.A. Miller later denied the claim but expressed love and support for the QB.

The feeling is clearly mutual -- Manziel ended the post by wishing Miller good luck on "Dancing with the Stars."

As for the roommate situation -- no word if JM and VM actually found a place together or if they still have plans to shack up.

Abigail Ratchford's milkshake dripping, booby bouncing homage to In-N-Out ain't bringing the burger joint's execs to the yard -- they're demanding she take down her viral video ... or else.

In-N-Out lawyers fired off a letter sent to the model's producer, Liverichmedia ... saying they've been flooded with complaints over a video posted last month showing Abby in "various sexually suggestive acts with In-N-Out Burger food."

At first viewing (second, third and fourth too) ... the "Dream Girl" clip might seem like a great plug, but the burger bosses are worried customers will think they're in bed with Ratchford -- which they say doesn't mesh with the company's image.

If it isn't taken down immediately, In-N-Out says it will likely serve up a lawsuit. Fresh.

Lamar Odom ventured out Monday night to the Achilles heel of addicts -- an L.A. nightclub.

Lamar hit up The Nice Guy in WeHo with a friend. He left pretty early -- around 10:15 PM -- so he may have just been there for dinner, but it's a long way from his Calabasas rental, and the night was young.

Willie Roaf is sick and tired of the gun violence in New Orleans ... and now, in the wake of Will Smith's shooting death -- he's demanding change.

The NFL Hall of Famer was at the airport in D.C. when he told us the entire New Orleans Saints organization is devastated by Smith's death.

Roaf also said the entire Saints organization is waiting to hear about plans for a memorial -- with Willie saying he's willing to drop everything and hop on a plane the second plans are finalized.

But Roaf -- who played 9 seasons with the Saints -- says the bigger issue is the gun violence in New Orleans.

The suspect in cuffs ... the car window shot out ... and Will Smith's wife screaming in pain -- all captured in dramatic a video taken moments after the ex-NFL star was gunned down this weekend.

The footage, shot by a reporter for NOLA.com, captures the tragic scene as emergency responders tend to Racquel Smith ... who can be heard screaming, "My leg has been shot."

At one point, you can hear a witness describe the shooting ... saying Smith threatened to get HIS gun before Cardell Hayes started shooting.

For the record, Hayes' attorney has said his client only fired in self defense.

Von Miller's setting the record straight ... he is NOT shacking up with Johnny Manziel.

The Superbowl MVP took to Instagram, saying, "Johnny's not staying with me but he is my BROTHER!" He added, "Like I've said a thousand times, I got his back no matter what!"

Miller's responding to comments Manziel made to TMZ Sports ... saying he and Von are living together while Johnny searches for a new football team.

Now he's gotta find someone else to split the utilities with.

Jon Jones says he was the victim of RACIAL PROFILING -- claiming the cop who pulled him over for drag racing in New Mexico only targeted him because he's black.

Jones posted part of a local news report to Instagram which claims Officer Brown of the Albuquerque PD has had several complaints filed against him for racial profiling in the past ... and one person even sued him over it.

For the record, the APD has claimed Brown has no pattern of racial profiling.

But Jones says he's convinced the March 24th incident -- in which he was cited for 5 violations including drag racing -- was purely motivated by race.

"Officer Brown all over the news in Albuquerque after reporters dig up how many times he has been in trouble for racial profiling in the past. Being a father of biracial children, I'm definitely not one to pull the race card. At the same time, I'm not necessarily surprised about this discovery after the run in I had with him."

"Having him stand there, look me in the eyes and start accusing me of several things him and I both know I didn't do made me feel let down by the community, made me feel powerless, he made me feel like what was actually true had no power over him."

Jones wasn't exactly a perfect angel during the stop -- calling the officer a pig and a "f**king liar."

Jon says he was emotional and explained, "It's easier for me to understand why so many people hold resentment towards law enforcement. Officer brown almost single-handedly ruined my trust in law-enforcement."

"The sad thing about it is, I actually went to school for criminal justice, I wanted to be an officer myself. Fortunately I know better than to let one person ruin my views of a whole group. Just glad people are finally bringing light to who I was dealing with that night."

Ex-NFL running back Montee Ball was arrested near a Wisconsin bar this weekend -- after cops say the 25-year-old violated the terms of his bail ... by boozin'.

FYI -- Ball was out on bail stemming from a previous domestic violence case in which he's accused of attacking a former girlfriend in 2014. One of the terms of his bail was to stay out of bars, taverns and liquor stores ... and completely REFRAIN from drinking alcohol.

So, when cops were called to the 841 Brewhouse bar on Saturday night -- and found Ball nearby reeking of booze -- they immediately arrested him.

Ball denied he had been drinking and refused to submit to a breathalyzer test. Cops did take a blood sample to be tested. So far, no word on the results.

A makeshift memorial to ex-Saints player Will Smith has sprung up at the New Orleans street corner where he was shot and killed this weekend ... and it continues to grow.

We spoke with John Harkins -- owner of Harkins the Florist Inc (a flower shop near the memorial) -- who tells us fans and non-fans have been streaming into the shop all day Monday buying arrangements to contribute to the memorial.

But it's not just flowers ... people are also leaving Saints memorabilia, gold and black balloons and signs condemning the senseless violence.

Smith was killed Saturday night during an altercation following a car accident. Cops have arrested the shooter, who insists he only fired in self-defense.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell is dead serious about his aspiring rap career -- telling TMZ Sports he's dropping a new track ... and says he's trying to collaborate with SNOOP!!

Bell raps under the alias "Juice" -- and recently dropped a 10 track mixtape called "The Interview" which already racked up more than 100,000 plays on SoundCloud.

But Bell says he's no 1-hit wonder -- insisting his upcoming track "On A Mission" might be his best one ever.

As for Snoop -- he's a HUGE Steelers fan ... and so is Mac Miller ... and Bell says he's trying his best to get those guys to hop on a track.

Long story short ... O'Donnell says there's still one thing Spieth does better than ANYONE ELSE in the world.
