Former world champion Shane Mosley says he'd love to have a rematch with Manny Pacquiao ... this time to pummel his face in the name of gay rights.

Mosley and his GF were on their way out to NYC to watch Manny fight Tim Bradley on Saturday night -- despite calls for protest -- but say they don't support Manny's views on gay people.

In fact, Shane (with some coaxing from his GF) told us he's down to get in the ring with Manny again ... and this time, he'd fight in HONOR of gay rights.

MMA star Tito Ortiz will NOT be prosecuted for an alleged battery that happened inside a Vegas nightclub back in February ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Shawn Oakman lost millions of dollars this week ... even if he's INNOCENT ... this according to Shawne Merriman who says just an allegation alone can destroy an NFL prospect's draft stock.

Oakman -- who was regarded as a top NFL prospect -- is being investigated for a possible sexual assault in Waco, TX over the weekend ... but has denied any wrongdoing. He has not been arrested or charged with a crime.

But Merriman -- who spent 7 years in the NFL -- says the damage to Oakman's draft stock has already been done.

"Even if it's not true, or even if he is acquitted, teams still look at him as a bad apple and nobody really wants that in an organization."

He added, "Right now is the worst time you can get in trouble for anything."

It's true ... just ask La'el Collins -- who took a HUGE hit in last year's NFL draft when police announced they wanted to speak with him about the shooting death of a woman he was once romantically linked to.

UFC bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz says Urijah Faber's chin looks like a butt -- so, we decided to see if he could seriously tell the difference in a game called, "Butt ... or Urijah Faber's Chin."

Cruz appeared on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs Friday night on FS1) -- and played the game ... and did surprisingly well!!

Ex-NFL star Takeo Spikes says he had a racket at Augusta National when he was a kid -- slingin' the white stuff to rich people ... in the way of egg sandwiches.

And his hustle ... selling egg sammys.

Now, Spikes is one of those rich guys he used to sell to ... and has become a golfer himself. In fact, he calls out a huge NBA star and vows to whoop his ass on the links.

NBA star Nerlens Noel puts the guys from "Project X" to shame -- DESTROYING the home he was renting last year with Gatorade stains, drugs and toilet damage ... this according to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports.

A jury has found NY Jets superstar Brandon Marshall did NOT obliterate a woman's face during a melee outside of a NYC nightclub back in 2012.

Marshall had been sued by Christin Myles -- who claimed Marshall punched her so hard outside of Marquee nightclub that she now suffers from severe headaches, sensitivity to light and has reccurring head and neck pain.

Myles submitted security video which she claimed proved Marshall punched her -- but the video was grainy and clearly the jury didn't feel it definitively showed Brandon delivering the blow.

Tom Arnold knows firsthand about the dangers of alcohol -- and says he wants to speak with Johnny Manziel to make sure the QB doesn't make the same mistakes he did.

"I'd like to have lunch with him," Arnold said ... "He needs to get a mentor."

Arnold -- who's been very open about his own battle with substance abuse -- is clearly concerned about Manziel but says ... "maybe he's fine, but I'd love to sit down and talk with him."

As for Johnny -- he sought treatment for an undisclosed condition last year -- but says he's currently not drinking and "staying on track."

Cleveland Browns superstar Joe Haden just announced that his wife is pregnant -- but they JUST learned the sex of the kid in one of those fun "gender reveal" videos.

It's actually a pretty cool moment.

Haden wrote, "Words can't even describe how overwhelmed with JOY I am!"

Johnny Manziel says he's NOT the boozy party boy everyone thinks he is -- telling TMZ Sports he's NOT drinking (just eating at nice restaurants) and "staying on track."

A sober Manziel was leaving Le Jardin in Hollywood around 2 AM Friday morning when he told us, "I'm not really partying though. I'm just out with some buddies ... No drinking, hangin' with the boys."

He added, "I'm out at the spots. I'm eating dinner. I'm eating good food. I'm not doing anything crazy though. I'm being smart."
