Cedric the Entertainer says he was PUMPED to learn Ronda Rousey is part black -- saying he hopes her next job is to join the cast of 'Love & Hip Hop' so she can "beat everybody's ass!"

You gotta watch the clip ... Cedric is hilarious -- especially when we asked if the fact that her great-grandfather was black gives her permission to use "the word."

Trevone Boykin's fate is now in the hands of a grand jury -- which will decide whether or not to indict the ex-TCU quarterback for allegedly fighting cops during a December bar fight.

Officials in San Antonio tell TMZ Sports ... Boykin appeared in court Wednesday for a pre-indictment hearing -- when a judge decided to kick the case over to a grand jury.

As we previously reported, Boykin was arrested on Dec. 31st after allegedly attacking bar staff and police officers during a crazy night out at a San Antonio bar ... days before he was set to play in the Alamo Bowl.

Boykin was booked for assaulting a public servant (a 3rd degree felony), public intoxication and resisting arrest.

Stickum = selfish ... so says Charles Barkley who says Dwight Howard needs to ditch to the sticky stuff 'cause it screws up the ball for everyone else on the court.

Barkley was out in NYC Tuesday when he told us the stickum isn't that big of a deal -- but Dwight shouldn't be using it.

"You can't use stickum, 'cause you screw it up for everybody else," Barkley said ... "Other guys need the ball too!"

The NBA issued an official warning to Howard after he was busted using the substance against the Hawks -- Howard says he doesn't think it's a big deal.

Now this is a story all about how ... the new Kobe Bryant bobblehead looks more like Will Smith than Mamba!!

For the 2nd time this season, the Lakers have swung and missed on Kobe bobblehead night at the Staples Center.

Remember, earlier this month they released the 1st bobblehead in a 3 piece set -- and it looked more like Danny Glover from "Lethal Weapon."

We asked Iggy Azalea if the woman behind the sexual harassment allegations against her fiance Nick Young is fabricating her story.

Iggy's answer -- yes.

For the record, the Lakers said in a statement Tuesday they "believe" Nick -- who is clearly disputing Alexis Jones ... the woman who says Young and Jordan Clarkson sexually harassed her and her mother on Sunday.

Broncos defensive coordinator Wade Phillips says the NFL should absolutely panicked about the idea of Peyton Manning coaching ... saying if the ex-QB ever put on a headset he could take over the league.

We got Phillips leaving The Griddle in L.A. where he attempted to finish a pancake (seriously, you seen those things?) and asked and if he thought Peyton would make for a great head coach someday.

The short answer is yes ... with Wade telling our camera guy if Peyton ever decided to call signals from the sidelines instead of under center ... the entire league would be in serious trouble.

Hulk was at the Le Parker Meridien Hotel in NYC Tuesday night when our photog lightly grilled him about the prospect of the judgment getting overturned.

Ronda Rousey's mom just bro'd out with our African American camera guy ... telling him they've got something in common -- their blackness!

A California high school is under fire for booking ex-NFL star Ray McDonald as a guest speaker last month -- since he's still a defendant in a rape case -- and now Gloria Allred is going after the superintendent.

The ex-49ers defensive end is scheduled to go on trial next month to face allegations he raped an intoxicated woman at his home back in 2014. He has pled not guilty.

Still, he was invited to speak at Tennyson High School (in the Bay Area) on February 25th -- to help get at-risk students on the right path.

The news infuriated McDonald's accuser and her lawyer, Gloria Allred -- who fired off a letter to the superintendent of the school district -- calling the move "highly inappropriate."

Allred also suggests McDonald had ulterior motives for wanting to give the speech:

"It may be that Mr. McDonald through his appearance and speech to your students was seeking to have a positive impact on the potential jury pool in his upcoming criminal trial. I wonder, however, why you would appear to be amendable to supporting him in this strategy if indeed that was his goal."

The best part ... Allred says if the school is having trouble finding a positive role model to speak to the kids, she knows the perfect person to step in:

Brittney Griner wants the world to know she's proud to be a member of the I.B.T.C. ... taking to social media to smack all the haters body shaming her for a lack of boobage.

It began when Griner posted a picture of herself in a cut off tee shirt which exposed a little side boob. It wasn't enough side boob for some ... and she was clowned in her comments section for cup deficiency.

Griner swung back with her very next post ... putting up a partially nude image of herself and an accompanying caption addressing anyone who has an issue with her girls.

"I love being naked and I don't care people seeing this bird chest of mine and making fun of it! Go head! I love myself and I love my body!"

Good job Brittney ... we would say A for effort ... but we don't want any beef.

The Lakers say they believe their players in an alleged sexual harassment incident -- this after Nick Young accused the woman of making the whole thing up.

The woman at the center of the controversy is Alexis Jones -- a women's rights activist who claimed Nick Young and Jordan Clarkson pulled up next to her in a Jeep on Sunday and yelled and made vulgar gestures toward her and her mom. She posted pics from the incident on social media.

Young fired back essentially saying Jones is lying -- "If you want some attention take a pic of me and say anything next to it and post ... The world we live in."

Now, Lakers spokesman John Black says the team has investigated -- and "support Nick and Jordan and believe what they told us about the incidents and their actions."

Black says the team has spoken to Jones as well -- and "based on these conversations, our conclusion is that there are different interpretations of what happened."

"We support Nick and Jordan and believe what they told us about the incidents and their actions. We also are supportive of Alexis and her feelings about what happened, about women’s rights, and of the fine work Alexis is doing with her organization."

"I had several conversations with Alexis and her publicist, and tried to arrange a meeting between her, Nick and Jordan. Unfortunately, Alexis’s schedule didn’t allow for this to happen yesterday."

Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson did NOT accept Stephen A. Smith's quasi-apology Tuesday morning -- in fact, he's even MORE pissed off now ... calls the guy a straight up racist.

Robinson just sent us a video response to Stephen A's comments on "First Take" this morning -- in which he apologized for bringing up old beef ... but said he stands by what he said.

Of course, Smith had called Robinson a racial hypocrite -- claiming Glenn talked about helping black coaches succeed in the NBA ... only to treat his former 76ers coach Randy Ayers (who's black) like "trash."

Watch the clip -- Glenn clearly takes offense ... and fires back at Smith in a big way.

Rosie O'Donnell's brother, New York State Assemblyman Daniel O'Donnell, just took the floor of the assembly and claimed mixed martial arts is like gay porn, but without a climax.

O'Donnell opposes a bill that would legalize MMA in New York. He believes the sport is thinly-veiled erotica, telling his colleagues, "Two half-naked hot men rolling around in a cage trying to dominate each other. It's basically gay porn, only with a different ending."

He went on to say his famous sister was for lifting the MMA ban in New York, but he feared it would trigger a rise in violence and gambling among young people, adding he was going home "to take a long shower" after discussing the prospect of legalizing MMA.

The assemblyman, who is gay, went on to call MMA "an alleged sport."

Matthew Titone, another openly gay Assemblyman, cracked a different gay joke during the hearing.

12:36 PM PT -- Oakland University coach Greg Kampe issued a statement about Seb:

"The Oakland basketball family was very sad to hear about the attack in Belgium and one of our own was in the midst of it. We send our prayers to Seb and his family."

"Seb has remained very close to our program through the years, he's in constant contact with our players and staff here at Oakland University and has been one of the biggest supporters and cheerleaders for the Oakland basketball program. One in which he led us to a championship while he was here."

"Saying that, all I can add is that I hope everybody who knows or has ever met Seb can give their prayers or do whatever they need to do for him. He is a tremendous competitor and he will fight through this."

One of the people badly injured in the Brussels terror attacks Tuesday morning is a former college basketball player who turned pro in Europe ... who just underwent emergency surgery after badly injuring his leg in the blast.

Images of Sebastien Bellin laying on the ground at the airport went viral -- his leg twisted and bleeding from the explosion.

37-year-old Bellin played college basketball at Oakland University in Michigan from '98 to '00 before heading to Europe where he's been playing pro ball ever since. He's currently a member of BC Telenet Oostende, a pro team in Belgium.

We spoke with a rep from Oakland University who tells us ... "Coach has been in contact with Sebastien's family and what we know is he injured his leg and hip and he will be okay."

NBA legend Dikembe Mutombo was at the airport in Brussels at the time of the terrorist attack early Tuesday morning -- but wants to assure his fans ... "I am fine."

Mutombo took to Facebook and wrote, "God is good. I am in Brussels Airport with this craziness. I am fine."
