We got Bob -- a legend in horse racing -- out at Craig's and asked him how his Triple Crown winning horse is adjusting to life as a stud ... you know, where you basically bang for a living.

The answer? Very well according to Bob ... who told our camera guy that Pharoah is putting in work like a four legged Shawn Kemp ... on his way to single-handedly creating a new generation of racers.

The Nick Young, Iggy Azalea super wedding ain't gonna be cheap ... so says Iggy who tells TMZ Sports the reason she's postponing the event instead of her tour is because she needs to make money!!

Iggy was at LAX when we asked her how the wedding planning was going -- Iggy told us Nick wants a full fledged MEGA-BASH with all of his friends ... and dude's got a TON of friends.

Iggy just announced the wedding will be pushed wayyy back -- thanks to her upcoming tour -- saying it probably won't happen until the end of next basketball season.

Put down your popcorn ... Stephen A. Smith says he will NOT accept Glenn Robinson's invitation to fight him in a MMA cage match -- after Glenn called him out on "TMZ Sports."

Smith just appeared on "First Take" and actually APOLOGIZED to the former NBA star for dragging him back into the headlines by going public with their decade-long feud on a radio interview last week.

But it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows ... Smith made it clear the two sides hate each other -- will ALWAYS hate each other -- and he insists the allegations he made about Robinson being a racial hypocrite are 100% true.

As for the offer to fight it out once and for all ... Smith says "the street in me" wanted to handle it one way ... but the "grown man" in him convinced him to go another direction.

Smart move ...

Indiana Pacers star Ty Lawson pulled off a miracle ... somehow avoiding jail in his Denver drunk driving case even though prosecutors desperately wanted him to serve time.

Lawson had pled guilty to driving while ability impaired back in November ... after failing field sobriety tests during his arrest on Jan. 23rd 2015. During the incident, cops say Lawson reeked of booze and couldn't stand up straight.

Prosecutors raised the issue that Lawson had 2 drunk driving incidents before the Denver arrest -- and was busted for DUI in L.A. in July -- saying he needed jail to learn his lesson.

But the judge said Lawson's 2 previous cases didn't count as "offenses" -- unclear why ... we're looking into it.

Regardless, Lawson was ultimately sentenced to 12 months probation and ordered to complete 48 hours of community service, 52 hours of therapy and NO MARIJUANA USE!

The captain of the Belgian national soccer team is lashing out against the terror attacks in his country -- begging his countrymen to "act with dignity" in the wake of the violence and "reject hate."

A fast-thinking, Columbo-esque lawyer for the L.A. Dodgers blew the lid off a major memorabilia theft ring that looted the organization for years.

Chad Gunderson, Sr. Counsel for the L.A. Dodgers, was surfing online last December for sports memorabilia when he noticed someone was hawking Dodgers items that he knew were not for sale, including a Don Mattingly game jersey, an Adrian Gonzalez game jersey and Yasiel Puig bats.

Gunderson engaged the seller, who stupidly told him he had "two very good sources at Dodger Stadium." The seller went on to say he'd been dealing with one source for 10 years and another for 20. That was enough for Gunderson to leap into action.

The lawyer got the team to set up secret cameras in the clubhouse and the equipment room.

On December 5, 2015, the camera captured a man entering the clubhouse at 11:23 PM. He was wearing dark clothing and a mask. The man immediately turned off the automatic light switch, but the light was on long enough to capture stainless steel handcuffs on his belt.

Gunderson and crew knew they were probably dealing with a security guard. So they overrode the automatic light switch and waited.

Sure enough, 6 days later, at 3:07 AM, 2 masked men entered the clubhouse -- one wearing a ski mask and the other a nylon stocking. The light stayed on, and the cameras captured the men pilfering baseball bats, a pair of shoes, Dodgers jackets, hats and a box of baseballs.

The dumb guys were bold enough that they wore Dodgers security jackets and one guy even wore Dodgers batting gloves.

A hockey player drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks is being prosecuted over revenge porn -- after officials say he shared a sex photo of a woman he should have known was not meant for other eyes.

Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson says he wants to end the beef with Stephen A. Smith once and for all -- IN THE CAGE -- challenging the reporter to a MMA match ... and he's dead serious.

The former NBA star joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" TV show (airs tonight on FS1) -- to respond to an interview Smith did last week ... in which S.A.S. said he "despises" Robinson for being a hypocrite on race issues in the NBA.

Bottom line -- the 6'7" world class athlete says he's sick of talking ... and calls out 6'1" Mr. Smith.

Hulk Hogan just scored $25 million in punitive damages in his sex tape lawsuit, bringing his total haul to $140 million.

A jury just awarded the famed wrestler the punitive award, with this breakdown. Gawker Media must pay $15 mil, site owner Nick Denton is on the hook for $10 mil, and A.J. Daulerio, the Editor responsible for posting the tape, must pay $100,000.

As we reported, the jury awarded Hulk $115 million Friday for actual damages.

Gawker just issued a statement saying it is confident the verdict will be overturned on appeal. The site maintains it has a right to post the tape because it was newsworthy and therefore protected by the First Amendment.

UFC legend Randy Couture says he jumped into action to pull a family from a flipped vehicle in Mexico Sunday ... rescuing several people trapped in their ride after crashing near Cancun, TMZ Sports has learned.

We spoke with Couture who confirmed ... he had just landed in Mexico to work on the movie "Bruja" and was on his way to his hotel when, "I looked up and this minivan went off the road."

"It rolled over twice into the jungle. My driver pulled over and called the police. We busted into the woods and helped the two women and the kid."

"The vehicle was on its side, so everyone was climbing out the side door. One of the women seemed like she was in shock. She was really weak. So I carried her out of the van and to the road. I wanted to get everyone away from the car because I was concerned it was going to catch fire. There were all these fluids leaking from the van."

Couture says all 6 people in the car were okay -- no serious injuries -- "there was some blood from some scratches."

"Once they were back on the road, and we knew they were okay, we left and continued on to the hotel."

We spent hours calling multiple local law enforcement agencies and emergency personnel but haven't heard back. Hey, those long distance charges can be a bitch ...

Beware NHL fans ... Rick Fox says your sport will be overtaken ... by nerds ... 'cause the "League of Legends" team owner thinks eSports is primed to take hockey's place as the fourth major sport in the U.S. in just TWO YEARS!

We got Rick out at LAX when we asked about the HUGE move in the video game world last week ... when Shaq and Alex Rodriguez announced they bought into eSports franchises. Basically we wanted to know ... how big can this thing get?

As big as the NHL according to Rick ... and really soon ... saying in short, in two years eSports can rival the ice riders as the next sport behind the big three.

The NFL is half baked ... according to former NFL safety Tony Parrish, who says that about half of those playing in the league are getting a little toke of the sticky icky from time to time.

Parrish was a stud for the 49ers and Cowboys back in the 00's so he knows the league ... and we wanted to know what percentage of said league is treating their "glaucoma" during the off-season.

The NBA's Jay Williams recently said he thinks up to 80% of his old league lights up ... so it's a question everyone is talking about.

The woman who claims she was attacked by L.A. Clippers player Branden Dawson says she has the bruises to prove her case ... and has gone public with the photos.

We reached out to Shyanne Queen (she gave us permission to use her name) -- who says these pics (posted to social media) show the damage that Dawson inflicted during a March 13th altercation at his L.A. home.

The photos show bruises to Queen's right cheek and arms.

When asked for more details about the situation, Queen refused comment ... citing the ongoing investigation.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Dawson was arrested for felony domestic violence after Queen -- his longtime girlfriend -- claimed he beat her up. Law enforcement sources tell us the fight involved a 2nd woman.

Dawson was a star player at Michigan State before being selected in the 2nd round in the 2015 draft.

UFC superstar Urijah Faber says he TRIED to help Conor McGregor prepare for Nate Diaz -- but Conor ignored him -- and the result? "HE GOT WHOOPED."

We spoke with Faber at the UFC Gym in La Mirada where he confirmed that UFC honcho Dana White offered him the McGregor fight at UFC 196 (and Faber accepted) ... only for Conor to turn him down to fight Diaz instead.

"That backfired!" Faber told TMZ Sports.

Despite the rejection, Faber -- who has the most submissions in the UFC Bantamweight division -- says he tried to help Conor by giving him tips on how to fight the bigger, stronger Diaz ... but his advice fell upon deaf ears.
