One of the people behind The Fappening -- the hacking and release of nude pics and vids belonging to more than a dozen celebrities -- was busted by the feds, and is now pleading guilty.

Ryan Collins was charged with unauthorized access to a protected computer. The feds say Collins is responsible for hacking into the computers of more than 100 victms -- at least 18 of them famous -- and downloading their photos and videos.

According to the docs, he got in through Apple iCloud and Gmail accounts between Nov. 1, 2012 and Sep. 2, 2014 ... using a phishing scheme.

Some of the famous Fappening victims included Kate Upton, Jennifer Lawrence, Kirsten Dunst and Hope Solo. It's unclear if Collins hacked their accounts in particular. He has not been charged with leaking the material to the public.

Former Michigan State basketball star Mateen Cleaves -- who was the backbone of the 2000 National Championship team -- has been charged with multiple crimes in connection to an alleged sexual assault.

Officials say 39-year-old Cleaves sexually assaulted a woman he met during a charity golf event back in 2015.

Cleaves allegedly took the woman to a motel in Grand Blanc, Michigan on Sept. 15th after offering her a ride home from a nearby bar ... and held her in the room against her will and sexually assaulted her.

The 24-year-old woman says she was able to escape and got help from someone in a nearby room.

Cleaves has now been charged with unlawful imprisonment, assault with intent to commit criminal sexual penetration, criminal sexual conduct in the 2nd degree and 2 counts of criminal sexual conduct in the 3rd degree.

If convicted on all counts, Cleaves faces SERIOUS prison time.

He's expected to turn himself in Thursday morning.

NFL superstar Terrell Suggs has been formally charged with 2 misdemeanors stemming from his Arizona car crash earlier this month ... and if convicted, he could face jail time.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Suggs was arrested in a Scottsdale shopping center parking lot around 1 AM on March 4th ... after cops say he struck a wall and left the scene.

Suggs disputed the "leaving the scene" part -- claiming he simply went to a Mexican restaurant that was open to call a friend to pick him up.

Now, officials have formally charged Suggs with 2 misdemeanors -- driving with a suspended license and failure to notify after striking a fixture.

If convicted of the suspended license charge, Suggs could face up to 6 months in jail. The failure to notify charge carries a lighter sentence ... up to 30 days in jail.

Suggs was also cited for failure to control speed to avoid a collision -- which requires him to pay a small fine.

Forget the NBA, Lakers rookie sensation D'Angelo Russell might not be the best athlete in his OWN RELATIONSHIP ... 'cause his GF is showing the world she has some serious lift.

Russell is dating USC volleyball player Niki Withers who must've wanted to prove to him she knows her way around the basketball court ... 'cause check out this clip of NW grabbing the rim with authority.

It's pretty impressive video -- Withers is 5'10" (and the sister of Jaguars TE Marcedes Lewis) and glides up to the cup with ease.

We would say she should try out with the Sparks ... but let's face it ... the Lakers need more help.

This is adorably hilarious ... Washington Nats 2B Danny Espinosa TRYING to do one of those "gender reveals" with a pinata and a baseball bat -- but his big league swing betrayed him!

Espinosa's wife Sara was filming the event ... in which he was supposed to obliterate the pinata, thus revealing the sex of the baby to the world (you've all see stuff like this on your Facebook feed).

What happened next ... well, let's just say "curveball."

FYI -- He WAS able to make contact after he ran the count full ... verdict? It's a boy! (See pics below).

It's been 10 days since the Brock Osweiler pizza shop incident ... but the NFL is still not saying whether or not it's investigating the Houston Texans QB for his role that night.

The moment in question is right before Brock gets pushed from behind ... when he used his arm to physically move one of the women at the shop who was in a verbal altercation with his wife.

Some people (including high profile media members) say Brock crossed the line ... others believe he used a reasonable amount of force to keep the peace.

We've been calling the NFL to find out if they were investigating the incident -- and were told, "We don't have a comment."

Former NFL running back Ahman Green has been cut again ... this time it's from the upcoming 'Batman v Superman' blockbuster ... but don't fear, you could still see the Packers great on-screen.

Green is a huge DC comics fan and 'BvS' director Zach Snyder is a huge Packers fan so when Green hit him up and asked for a spot in the movie ... all things were a go.

Ahman shot his scenes as "Thug No. 2" a few months ago but he tells TMZ Sports his hopes were crushed recently when he got a fateful call from a honcho on the film.

"It’s all a part of Hollywood, but I got a call from the casting director explaining that my scene was cut from the theatrical release of the movie."

All bad right? Not so much ... Green tells us he will still indeed make an appearance in the movie (kinda) ... and actually hopes to make a return to the series in the future.

"I’ll still be in the Director’s Cut when that comes out ... I have a good relationship with Zack Snyder, so we’ll definitely stay in touch for future releases like 'Justice League.'”

The Branden Dawson domestic violence arrest involved a 2nd woman who showed up to the home where he lives with his girlfriend ... multiple law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sports.

We broke the story ... the Clippers player was arrested Sunday morning after the alleged incident.

Now, we're told the entire incident stemmed from a 2nd woman who arrived to Dawson's home in Playa Vista, CA -- and an argument ensued involving all 3 people.

One of the women claimed she was pushed -- though we're not sure if it's Dawson's GF or the other woman.

Even the United Nations is cutting ties with Maria Sharapova ... with the UN's Development Program announcing it's suspended its relationship with her after her failed drug test.

The NYC-based group issued a statement saying, "In light of Ms. Sharapova's recent announcement, we last week suspended her role as a Goodwill Ambassador and any planned activities while the investigation continues."

The group says it "remains grateful to Maria Sharapova for her support of our work, especially around the Chernobyl nuclear disaster recovery."

Maria has been an ambassador for the UNDP since 2007 -- and had a good working relationship with her foundation.

Ex-NFL on FOX star Jillian Barberie lost a chunk of her lip this weekend -- when she was bit in the mouth by a Cocker Spaniel ... and needed 10 stitches to close the gash.

"I don't see [Steph Curry] being one of the Top 5 best ever" -- Stephen Jackson.

So, we were talking basketball with the ex-NBA star in L.A. when he dropped some real talk about how Steph and LeBron James will be remembered after their NBA careers are over.

Jackson says he likes Curry a lot ("he's having a helluva season") but he'll never crack the Top 5.

On LeBron, Jackson says ... "He's gonna go down as probably Top 3, Top 4 best ever."

We're guessing Jackson's 1 and 2 are MJ and Kobe in that order.

So, the question ... who would you put in that 3 spot ahead of LeBron?

Michael Sam says he's still training his ass off for an NFL comeback ... but knows it ain't gonna be easy -- telling TMZ Sports, "[The NFL's] a hard f**king place."

Sam was leaving The Nice Guy in L.A. when we asked if he had any advice for Johnny Manziel -- since he knows first hand about what it feels like to get cut.

"He doesn't need my advice. He's a grown ass man," Sam said ... "He's a football player. He'll make it."

As for Sam, the 26-year-old says he's laser focused on making a roster next season ... but he knows exactly how tough it's gonna be.

7:21 AM PT -- The LAPD just released a statement that the lead investigator has not received any such information from the crime lab. Maybe so, but our inside sources say the tests have been done and no DNA was found.

LAPD detectives hit a dead end with the knife that was buried on O.J. Simpson's Rockingham estate ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell us, the DNA testing produced no matches. We're told the microbes in the soil degraded any DNA to the point it was impossible to get a meaningful result.

We're also told there was no hair or other sample that produced a lead.

TMZ broke the story ... a construction worker found the buck knife with a 5" blade buried on the perimeter of the property and gave it to a retired LAPD cop who was doing traffic control for a movie shoot. The cop took it home and put it in his tool box for more than a dozen years.

The LAPD has not announced the results, but we're told the investigation is over.

Shooter McGavin took a page out of Happy Gilmore's playbook by giving a hot bikini clad comic swinging lessons ... on the green.

Christopher McDonald, who played the sleazy golf pro in the Adam Sandler flick, showed up at a $10 million hole in one tournament in Las Vegas. He didn't win the tournament, but it's hard to say he lost -- based on his interaction with Kate Quigley.

Yasiel Puig was underwater at his Miami mansion when his refrigerator went on the fritz, but he says his insurance company's giving him the high hard one -- refusing to pay up, according to a lawsuit.

We got NaVorro leaving Avianne & Co. Jewelers in NYC and when we asked what kinda bling he was copping in there and he showed us ... by flashing a massive rock on a lovely lady's hand.

That lovely lady is Mikale Ferguson ... a celebrity stylist who Bowman's been with since high school and is marrying in a private garden ceremony at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas this spring.
