Manny Pacquiao is doubling down on his anti-gay stance -- posting a bible verse that condones putting gays to death ... hours after he was fired by Nike.

The Filipino news agency ABS-CBN captured an Instagram Manny put up early Thursday morning quoting Leviticus 20.13:

"If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death, their blood will be on their own heads."

The post has since been deleted.

TMZ Sports spoke with Manny's longtime promoter Bob Arum who says although he finds Manny's views abhorrent, he understands them because they're rooted in religious belief. Manny is a born again Christian.

Earlier this week, Manny said gays are "worse than animals" -- though he later apologized, while noting that he is still very much anti-gay marriage.

Great news for Odell Beckham Jr. ... you've been cleared to take Zendaya on a 2nd date (if she wants) ... because her dad says the NFL star passed his "interview" with flying colors!!!

Zendaya's dad, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" show (airs weeknights on FS1) ... to talk about how IMPRESSED he was with Odell this weekend.

As we previously reported, OBJ and Zendaya (and dad) hung out in Hollywood -- and Kazembe said it was an "audition" to see if he was worthy of dating his daughter.

Manny Pacquiao's longtime promoter Bob Arum says he AGREES with Nike's decision to fire the boxer -- condemning his anti-gay comments as offensive and completely out of touch.

Arum joined the guys on the "TMZ Sports" show (airs Wednesday at 9 PM PT, 12 ET on FS1) -- and took a stand AGAINST his own client saying, "Manny's remarks were offensive to many people ... Nike acted appropriately."

You gotta watch the entire interview on the show tonight on FS1 -- we asked Arum if he believes Manny is a homophobe and whether or not he'll drop Manny as a client.

Kylie Jenner just confused everyone by stepping out in Adidas kicks, almost at the exact same time PUMA announced she's the feet of their brand ... and TMZ now has the real story behind the deal.

Our sources say Kanye -- who has a big deal with Adidas -- was pissed off when he got wind Kylie was negotiating with PUMA and vowed it would never happen because it would be like a family betrayal.

We've learned by the time Kanye got wind of a deal between PUMA and Kylie, the contract was already signed. We're told Kanye was initially angry, but he spoke with Kylie and she explained she got a "carve out," and PUMA agreed to let her wear Adidas in addition to PUMA.

Our sources say Kylie explained to Kanye she got the carve out for him, and at this point couldn't back out or she'd be sued. She added the deal was only for 6 months.

We're told Kanye's now actually ok with the deal, and Kylie's supporting him by stepping out today in Kanye's brand.

Kylie Jenner is a spokesperson for the direct rival of Kanye West ... PUMA.

It's a stunning development ... because remember, just a week ago Kanye tweeted, "1000% there will never be a Kylie PUMA anything."

We're told Kylie will be in the Spring/Summer women's training campaign, which launches in April.

PUMA says Kylie represents, "a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn't think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign."

Remember, Kanye called out PUMA, telling them, "PUMA, we gone give you your measley million dollars back!!! Never try to divide the family!!!"

We told you it was comin' ... and now Nike has made it official -- Manny Pacquiao has been FIRED over his anti-gay comments.

Nike issued a statement saying, "We find Manny Pacquiao's comments abhorrent."

Holly Holm says she takes no pleasure in knowing Ronda Rousey thought about killing herself after their fight ... and hopes the UFC star will be "stronger mentally" from it.

Holm admitted she's in a tough position when it comes to commenting on the emotional confession Rousey made on 'Ellen' this week ... since beating up Ronda was her job.

So, how did Holly react when asked specifically about Ronda's comments?

"There’s a lot of things around that. When I heard that she said that, for me it’s one of those things it’s like, ‘How do I respond to that?’” Holm said at a media event in Albuquerque.

"I don’t want to say I’m sorry because I think on a competitive level for me, if somebody was to say they’re sorry after [beating me], it’s like, ‘No, I’m a competitor.’ I’m not a charity case."

Despite being the 6th leading scorer in the NBA, Damian Lillard didn't make the All-Star squad ... and he's venting about it in a brand new rap song.

The Portland Trail Blazers star just dropped "They Sleep" under his rap moniker Dame D.O.L.L.A. -- in which he spits the line:

Multiple sources tell TMZ Sports ... Nike is preparing to cut ties with boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao after his latest round of anti-gay comments.

The two sides have had a relationship since at least 2006 -- but we're told Nike is particularly disturbed after Pacquiao said gay people are "worse than animals" ... and intend to drop the boxer for good.

We're told the move is not official yet -- but there have been multiple discussions and we're told it appears to be heading in that direction.

We reached out to Manny's rep -- so far, no comment.

By the way, it appears Nike has removed all traces of Manny from its online store.
