NFL superstar LeSean McCoy reportedly assaulted 2 off-duty police officers in Philadelphia on Sunday -- and the cops were badly injured ... this according to multiple news outlets.

McCoy was at the Recess Lounge around 2:30 AM on Sunday when he got into the altercation ... so says WPVI.

FOX 29 in Philly says the officers involved suffered several serious injuries -- including a fractured skull, broken ribs and a broken nose.

According to the police report, the fight was all over champagne -- with the football player upset that the cops received their bubbly first.

McCoy has NOT been arrested -- but he and another man are at the center of a police investigation.

McCoy played for the Philadelphia Eagles in the past. He's currently a member of the Buffalo Bills.

We reached out to McCoy's agent Drew Rosenhaus -- but he declined to comment.

Beyonce made a stirring political statement during the Super Bowl halftime show, in what appears to be a tribute to the Black Panthers, a '60s group that advocated violence to correct racial injustice.

The singer was flanked by backup dancers who wore berets, similar to the berets worn by the group. They also raised their fists, symbolic of the Black Power movement.

At one point the dancers posed with a sign that read "Justice 4 Mario Woods," the man shot and killed by San Francisco cops.

The dancers on the field also formed an "X" on the field, which seemed symbolic of civil rights militant Malcolm X. Beyonce also had a strap on her chest in the form of an "X" -- but that looks like a homage to Michael Jackson's '93 Super Bowl show.

Tina Knowles posed with the dancers, fists raised high. It's not only a symbol of the Panthers, it's also a gesture used by Tommie Smith and John Carlos during the '68 Olympics.

Cam Newton wasn't dabbin' Sunday night ... but Wade Phillips sure as hell was -- and TMZ Sports has the footage!!!

The 68-year-old Broncos defensive coordinator hit up The Grand Nightclub for the Super Bowl celebration party ... and GOT SUPER TURNT UP!!!!

He dabbed. He spanked. He got all the way down with a fat chain around his neck!

As Chris Martin and Beyonce hit the field, Gwyneth and Jay kept one eye on the performance and the other on Blue Ivy, Moses and Apple.

BTW ... Gwyn and Chris aren't officially divorced.

The Denver Police Dept. says it's PROUD of Broncos Nation -- saying they only made 12 Super Bowl celebration arrests in Denver Sunday night ... with NO major injuries.

We spoke with Officer Tyrone Campbell who tells us overall "people behaved themselves amazingly" ... but said there were some people who "acted silly."

As for the arrests ... Officer Campbell says there were a few weapons arrests, some criminal mischief busts, a couple nailed for lighting small fires and a few other popped for cop car damage.

No riots, no widespread mayhem.

If you think Denver Broncos corner Aqib Talib was embarrassed by his post-game slip and fall ... you're outta your mind -- dude LOVED it ... bragging afterward, "I'M VIRAL BABY!"

Hours after the final whistle, the Super Bowl MVP hit up The Grand nightclub for the victory party -- where the superstar partied with several of his Denver Broncos teammates including Aqib Talib.

Miller -- a huge hip-hop fan -- stood right next to Weezy and Chris Brown as the rapper performed for the whole club ... make sure to watch Miller rapping along with all of the songs, it's pretty awesome!

Peyton Manning and the Papa John's guy really are tight ... 'cause the pizza mogul swooped in and gave Peyton a victory kiss ... before Peyton's wife!

As the Broncos sealed their victory Sunday night, Papa John ran over to his most famous pitchman with a special delivery ... a kiss on the QB's cheek.

Dave Mirra had a rough time finding purpose when his BMX career ended ... he tried filling the void by helping kids ... but it wasn't enough.

Friends of Dave tell us ... in the months before his suicide, he spent his time introducing kids in the Greenville, North Carolina area to extreme sports, such as speed cycling and biking.

Problem was ... the 41-year-old couldn't find anything in his life to even approximate the adrenaline rush he got from BMX. He knew working with kids was important, but the passion he felt while he competed just wasn't there, and it became a significant factor in his deep depression.

We're told Dave tried to convince himself working with kids could be as satisfying as BMX, and from time to time his outlook would brighten. In fact, we're told just hours before he fatally shot himself, he saw someone at lunch and talked about plans to bring a speed cycling track to Greenville.

The friend with whom we spoke said the recurring theme from Dave was that he felt lost.

The cops who pulled over Jabar Gaffney last month say the ex-NFL wide receiver didn't just smell like weed -- he was covered in it -- and TMZ Sports has the footage from the arrest.

We broke the story ... the former Texans and Patriots player was busted in Florida on January 22nd at 3 PM because he was swerving and his windows were tinted.

The cop who pulled Gaffney over was pretty intense ... saying the scent of weed was super strong -- and when Gaffney got out of his truck, you can hear the cop say, "You got marijuana all over you!"

Eventually, Gaffney was charged with felony drug paraphernalia and weed possession.

Blake Griffin's nightmare 2016 continues ... 'cause now one of the biggest -- and hottest (seriously, watch the video) -- models in the world Samantha Hoopes has decided Griffin is no longer bangable.

Hoopes was out enjoying the night life at Super Bowl 50 -- we reiterate, LOOKING SUPER HOT -- when we asked if the hook up offer she made to Blake a while back is still in good standing.

Samantha said she was all about the Clippers stud when we shot her last year ... but that was before he punched out a guy half his size.

Ex-NFL star Bill Romanowski is in full backpeddle mode after referring to Cam Newton as "boy" -- while scolding the QB for walking out of a post-Super Bowl news conference.

After Cam walked out (a move he's been taking heat for) ... Bill went to Twitter and wrote, "You will never last in the NFL with that attitude. The world doesn't revolve around you, boy! #CamNewton."

The backlash was instant -- with all sorts of people ripping into Bill.

Beyonce's boobs were a no-go at the Super Bowl halftime show ... meaning gamblers who bet she'd rock cleavage lost money -- AND had to endure that boring as hell Coldplay performance.

But B kept the puppies indoors this year ... capping off what Piers Morgan called the "worst Super Bowl halftime show."

Lamar Odom just completed his first hike -- with Khloe and Kim by his side... a huge milestone in his recovery.

The sisters live-streamed the hike near their Calabasas homes. They didn't completely reveal Lamar on camera... however, they made it clear that he was part of the group.

Sources tell us it's the first time Lamar has gone outside for exercise. We're told he was extremely impressive and made it the whole way without any issues.

TMZ broke the story... Khloe moved Lamar into a home near hers so she would be able to help him with his rehabilitation.

Looks like she's doing a great job.

The California Highway Patrol officer whose motorcycle was hit by the Broncos team bus last week is officially back on the job ... TMZ Sports has learned.

A rep for the CHP tells us ... "The officer who was injured is back on the bike and working with the Denver escort team again."

As we previously reported, the CHP officer's bike was clipped by a Broncos team bus on the 101 Freeway on February 1st near the stadium ... while the cop was part of the escort team.

We asked if the guy got Super Bowl tix for his troubles ... unfortunately, no dice for CHP.

Mark Cuban promised a ridiculously awesome Superbowl kickoff party Saturday night ... and he did not disappoint.

The party featured Run D.M.C., Snoop, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Tim Tebow, Adriana Lima, Derek and Julianne Hough and Hailee Steinfeld were all just part of the massive crowd.

Forget chips ... this shindig was catered by STK and featured Old Bay poached shrimp, candied bacon cones, tuna tartare in soy honey emulsion and sweet corn pudding cups.
