How much does New Jersey Governor Chris Christie hate the idea of Johnny Manziel coming to his beloved Dallas Cowboys?

So much that he's willing to put a very large obstacle between Mr. Football and Big D ... his own body.

Christie called in to the Hugh Hewitt show to talk politics ... and when the subject of Johnny Manziel possibly joining the Cowboys came up ... the outspoken Governor let it be known ... he's not with it.

Odell Beckham Jr. ... the dramatic TV star???

The NY Giants WR just scored himself a role on the CBS medical drama "Code Black" ... sharing scenes with Hollywood legend Beau Bridges.

It's not the most challenging role in the world -- Odell will play himself -- but there's potential for real drama as the storyline is based around OBJ trying to convince Beau's character to have lifesaving surgery.

The ex-NBA star loves the shoes ... but says Nick Young's decision to play in 'em earlier this season was downright stupid -- 'cause they'll murder your feet.

Kobe Bryant sucker punched a former teammate in the face -- over $100 -- back in 2002 ... and it almost caused a nuclear war between the players ... this according to the punchee, Samaki Walker.

Walker -- who played on the Lakers from 2001 to 2003 -- appeared on Brown and Scoop on CBS Radio's Play.It and detailed the entire incident ... saying Bryant struck him on the team bus in an effort to collect a gambling debt.

Walker says Kobe had won a half-court shot game the team often played -- where everyone throws a $100 in the pot -- and the person who hits the shot collects.

Walker told Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson and Jake Brown that Kobe confronted him on the team bus and hit him up for the cash ... and when Walker told him he'd pay him later, Kobe unleashed the fist.

“It was a sucker punch. Right to the face," Walker said ... "Out of nowhere. I’m sitting down on the bus and I said this man is crazy."

Eventually, Walker says Shaq's bodyguard, Jerome, got Kobe to apologize ... but it's clear, he's still pissed about it.

We reached out to Kobe's rep and the Lakers for comment -- so far, no word back. But we'll update as soon as we hear.

Lamar Odom has a new lease on life ... in Calabasas, thanks to estranged wife Khloe Kardashian.

We've learned Khloe has leased a home for Lamar just blocks from her home in The Oaks, an exclusive gated community. Our Kardashian sources say Khloe's name is on the lease, which makes sense. Lamar is still in no position to sign contracts.

Although Lamar is not living with Khloe, they are spending time together. He was spotted at her home Monday and looked good.

Khloe has vowed to stick by Lamar during his rehab after his near-fatal OD, and she's clearly staying true to her word.

O.J. Simpson's best friend is threatening to sue FX if it dares to paint him in a bad light when 'The People vs. O.J. Simpson' hits the air ... TMZ has learned.

Al Cowlings "despises the media" ... his rep tells TMZ, and he feels like he's being targeted 20 years after O.J. killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

Cowlings is worried his character in the series -- played by Malcolm-Jamal Warner -- will be untrue and damaging to his reputation.

A porn star claimed shortly after the murders Al -- known as AC -- told her he got rid of the murder weapon, saying the knife "was sleeping with the fishes." He denied saying it.

There was also a lot of unsubstantiated scuttlebutt that he cleaned up Simpson's Rockingham house and 86ing Simpson's bloody clothes.

Vince Young has broken his silence on his DUI arrest -- apologizing to his bosses ... and hoping young people will learn from his stupid mistake.

As we previously reported, the former University of Texas QB was arrested Monday morning in Austin -- and officers say he couldn't stand up straight and was slurring his words.

Now, without specifically admitting guilt, Young has issued a statement essentially acknowledging that he screwed up ... big time.

"Regardless of the outcome of the pending investigation, I would like my friends, family and fans to know that I do not condone drinking and driving in any way whatsoever. I am very disappointed in myself and am so sorry for any conduct that has made this legal process necessary."

"I specifically want to apologize to the young men and women who look up to me as a role model and to my employers at the University of Texas and the Longhorn Network. Please let this be a lesson to you all and a moment for you to learn from."

Dallas Mavericks star JaVale McGee has a personal interest in the water crisis in Flint, MI -- since he's from there -- and tells TMZ Sports the residents need more than just bottles of water.

There's a been a huge push from big stars like Diddy, Mark Wahlberg and the Detroit Lions to send bottles to the areas affected by the contamination ... but McGee says it's not enough.

"There's a bigger problem than water bottles," McGee said outside of Herringbone in Santa Monica.

"Water bottles are just to drink but what about showers and filters and things of that nature?"

Former NBA star Baron Davis says he's very close to being a current NBA star ... and he's saying it while carrying a huge vase of roses ... for reasons unknown to TMZ Sports.

Davis was leaving The Nice Guy in West Hollywood when we asked how his NBA comeback was going -- he recently signed with a D-League team to work his way back into the league.

Eddie Lacy is no dummy ... and knows if one of the biggest fitness gurus in the country offers to whip your butt in shape -- you listen.

TMZ Sports has learned ... Lacy's people have been in touch with P90X creator Tony Horton -- after Tony offered to PERSONALLY train the Green Bay Packers running back.

Horton -- who's trained all sorts of huge stars, athletes (Ray Lewis) and even politicians (Paul Ryan) -- previously told TMZ Sports he already has a game plan to help Lacy drop his extra weight and get into the best of shape of his life before next season.

Now, Lacy's people have confirmed the two sides have touched base in the hopes of working something out ... though no agreement has been struck yet.

Horton says he doesn't want to undermine Green Bay's training plan for Lacy -- but instead, he wants to work WITH the team to get Eddie where he needs to be.

"The Packers will get him ready for the season. My job will be to get the weight off and help him eat better."

Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman admitted smoking a strain of synthetic marijuana called "spice" before crashing his truck back in October ... this according to police.

Coleman -- who is legally deaf -- was arrested for vehicular assault and hit and run in Bellevue, Washington after allegedly leaving the scene of a crash in which the other driver sustained serious injuries.

Now, cops have released the 102 page report on the investigation -- in which officials say Coleman admitted smoking spice ... and also had a lighter, a glass spoon pipe with residue and an opened bag of synthetic weed labeled "F'd Up!" and 3 unopened bags of a strain called "Mad Pitbulls."

But get this ... despite the admission, cops say Coleman's blood tested NEGATIVE for marijuana. However, officials noted blood wasn't drawn until several hours after the accident.

Another interesting thing ... cops say Coleman's agent told cops the NFL player had "issues" at practice earlier in the day and had to be helped to his vehicle.

Officials say they reached out to the Seahawks and were provided footage which showed Coleman walked to his car completely normal. Translation -- cops say the agent is a liar.

There's more ... cops say they also found 2 knives in Coleman's car -- and a thigh strap to holster one of the knives.

Investigators also say they found THC hard candy (edibles) and watermelon ribbon edibles ... and eye drops.

Right now ... at this exact moment in time ... Draya Michele and Orlando Scandrick are back together.

Despite the fact they flip-flop more than a Washington politician, the former 'Basketball Wives' star says she's reconciled with the father of her fetus ... and they're finally in a good place.

As we previously reported ... about a billion times ... Draya and the Dallas Cowboys star have dated for a while (and broken up), got engaged (and called it off) and conceived a child (and broke up after that).

But this weekend ... Draya says they have worked things out -- and this time, they're hoping it lasts forever.

Khan -- who was in L.A. to see the Danny Garcia fight -- tells TMZ Sports Floyd's been ducking him like a chump ... and it's all because Mayweather's afraid of taking his first L.

"It seems to me that Mayweather's afraid and he might just not ever want to fight me," Khan said.

"People need to know that he's avoiding Amir Khan."

Amir says he's hoping to fight Garcia next ... and plans to deliver such an epic beatdown, that Floyd would have no choice but to come out of retirement and prove his mettle.

Johnny Bachelor?

After nearly 2 years of dating, it appears Johnny Manziel and Colleen Crowley may have broken up ... and the proof? They've both deleted pics of each other off of Instagram.

The two reportedly began dating before the 2014 draft -- and stayed together through all of Manziel's drama ... including his stint in rehab and a police incident in which she told cops Johnny struck her during an argument.

But word on the street is things have cooled between the two -- and both Johnny and Colleen have each removed several pics of each other from their Instagram pages ... a typical move from couples who break up.

Plus, Manziel was spotted out in Dallas this weekend without Colleen ... so, rebounding?

Jason Pierre-Paul just posted a photo that was taken at his hospital bedside on July 5th -- one day after the fireworks accident that blew up his hand.

JPP wrote, "July 5th I remember."

In the pic, you can see the NY Giants star elevating his right arm -- which is heavily wrapped up and red from the bleeding. You can also see blood on his hospital gown.

Miraculously, JPP not only recovered from the injury -- but eventually got back on the field and played with the Giants ... turning out a pretty impressive performance considering the circumstances.

In fact, the last time we spoke with JPP, he was in such good spirits about his situation -- he even joked about not being able to play video games anymore.

Florida State has reached a settlement with the woman who claimed she was raped by Jameis Winston in 2012 ... shelling out nearly $1 million to make her lawsuit go away.

The accuser's lawyers announced the terms of the settlement Monday -- saying the cash figure includes attorney's fees. FSU also agreed to make a 5 year commitment to training programs.

The accuser -- Erica Kinsman -- will reportedly receive $250k, her attorneys will get $700k.

As we previously reported, Kinsman sued FSU claiming the university ran a shoddy investigation in an effort to keep Winston on the football team. She had said the response to her accusations was "clearly unreasonable."

Kinsman issued a statement about the settlement saying, "I will always be disappointed that I had to leave the school I dreamed of attending since I was little. I am happy that FSU has committed to continue making changes in order to ensure a safer environment for all students."
