Looks like Snoop Dogg isn't over the Eagles ruining his fantasy season ... 'cause he DESTROYED ex-Philly coach Chip Kelly on social media ... just hours after Kelly was run out of town.

Snoop used classic cinema to pimp slap Chip ... posting a picture from the movie "Friday" with the famous line where Smokey berates Craig for getting fired on his day off.

We don't know if Tuesday was actually an off day for Kelly ... but one thing's for sure ... the pic is hysterical.

LeBron James is getting a raw deal from activists demanding he boycott the season in protest ... that's according to ex-NBA player Jay Williams who says one man can't change the world alone.

James is being pressured to sit out NBA games until the Department of Justice investigates the shooting of Tamir Rice ... a 12-year-old Cleveland boy killed by police.

Bryant announced the engagement with a tweet (kids today) saying ... "Only took me 8 years, but I can't wait to marry my best friend! Perfect way to end an unforgettable year!"

No word on when the two are tying the knot, but we do know one thing ... Bryant -- a good looking, young millionaire -- is forgoing years and years of random chicks.

Former Yankees pitcher David Wells has no problem with his ex-team trading for the troubled Aroldis Chapman ... saying his off-the-field issues DON'T MATTER ... cause the dude can flat out pitch.

Chapman is currently under investigation by the MLB for allegedly choking his girlfriend making some wonder why the Yanks would deal for him now ... Wells ain't one of them.

"In all honesty I don't give a crap what he's done off-the-field. As long as he shows up to practice, plays hard and produces ... I'll take him."

Wells knows the Yankee organization -- having won a World Series with the Bronx Bombers in '98 -- and says this is far from the first time they've taken a chance on a player ... but it always works out.

7:18 AM PT -- TMZ Sports spoke with Early's mother who said her son "was in good spirits."

New York Knicks guard Cleanthony Early was shot in the leg during a robbery just after leaving a Queens strip club ... and his assailants made off with a gold necklace ... and the gold caps on his teeth.

According to the NYPD, Early was leaving CityScapes Gentleman's Club early Wednesday morning in an Uber when the car was boxed in by three other vehicles. Cops say a group of men approached Early and robbed him, shooting him once in the knee for good measure.

Police say Early called 911 and was taken to a nearby hospital. He's in stable condition.

Just last week, another New York Knicks player, Derrick Williams, was the target of of thieves ... who allegedly made off with over $600,000 in jewelry.

"The Biggest Loser" trainer Dolvett Quince isn't soft-pedaling the cause of Rob Kardashian's diabetes ... he says Rob has himself to blame.

We got Dolvett at LAX Tuesday and he made it clear ... Rob's condition is the "byproduct of bad decisions."

On the other hand, Dolvett explains how Rob and others can beat the disease.

The Philadelphia Eagles have fired Chip Kelly ... announcing via their website that there will be no 4th season for the embattled head coach.

Philly is a disappointing 6-9 this year and moments ago owner Jeffrey Lurie released a statement confirming the franchise's decision to move on.

Patrick Dempsey is racing to the courthouse with a lawsuit against a sports clothing company he says stiffed him.

Dempsey claims in the lawsuit -- obtained by TMZ -- he cut a deal with GBG Spyder, which makes active outdoor wear and performance gear. Dempsey claims he did a lot ... personal appearances, slapping the Spyder logo on his race cars, but only got $270,000 before the company stopped paying.

Rick Ross' album release party in Miami attracted some big hip-hop names ... and their big wallets, too.

Ross hit up Studio 23 Monday night to celebrate the release of "Black Market" ... with Diddy, French Montana and DJ Khaled along for the ride.

Gilbert was on "TMZ Live" Tuesday and scoffed at baby mama Laura Govan's allegation he's a reckless parent by putting little Alijah on the front of a Polaris Slingshot and driving at around 15 MPH.

Gilbert told us he got an email from Laura's people saying they were going to try and take custody away from him, and TMZ Sports has learned he told the truth.

Our sources say Laura -- who currently has primary physical custody -- will go to court and ask the judge to significantly reduce Gilbert's visitation. She also wants the judge to impose safeguards so the kids aren't put in dangerous situations.

As one Laura source put it, "This is just the straw that broke the camel's back. He's done many other things."

Legendary Browns running back Jim Brown switched to defense Tuesday ... coming to the rescue of Johnny Manziel ... saying his partying ways won't keep him from being great.
