Jahlil Okafor Fight 2nd Victim Threatens Lawsuit 'I'm Hurt & Embarrassed'

Published | Updated

The man who was KO'd in the 2nd Jahlil Okafor street fight claims it was the NBA star who knocked him out ... and now he's threatening to fight back in a HUGE lawsuit.

The man behind the allegations does not want to reveal his I.D. -- but his attorney, Michelle Newton, tells TMZ Sports he's a 27-year-old executive assistant who lives in Boston.

We know the man was knocked out cold during the melee at Storyville nightclub last week -- but it was unclear from the footage if Okafor was his assailant.

But the victim's attorney tells TMZ Sports they're POSITIVE it was Okafor -- and he needed 10 stitches to close the gash on his eye after Jahlil knocked him out.

Newton says a lawsuit is now on table -- though they have NOT filed any paperwork yet.

"We're always interested in resolving any matter prior to ligation," Newton tells us .... "Should we be unable to reach an agreement [with Jahlil], civil litigation is the only available option."

Translation -- settle or we'll see you in court.

There's more ... Newton says her client has experienced pain and embarrassment as a result of the fight.

He's also pissed over allegations he heckled Jahlil about the 76ers before the fight -- claiming it's simply not true. He says the whole thing started when Okafor was rejected by women in the victim's crew.

Terrell Owens Off The Hook In Starbucks Fight ... Incomplete Evidence

Published | Updated

Terrell Owens will not be charged in the outrageous cup throwing altercation with a man outside a Brentwood, CA Starbucks ... TMZ has learned.

We're told the Los Angeles City attorney has decided to not charge T.O. due to insufficient evidence.

TMZ broke the story ... A man had accused T.O. of throwing a hot cup of coffee at him outside a Starbucks after trying to get his attention.

We obtained video of the incident and it turned out the accuser had thrown several racial slurs at the former NFL star, including calling him a "f***ing knuckle-running, spear-chucking, monkey-ass looking motherf*****."

When we spoke with T.O. he called the whole thing bizarre. Agreed.

Lamar Odom's fave hookers from that Nevada brothel where he nearly died ... have cleared their good names, and they're back on the job.

TMZ has learned Ryder Cherry and Monica Monroe returned to Love Ranch South earlier this week. As we reported, they'd been banished by owner Dennis Hof who suspected they were less than truthful about what went down with Lamar.

But Hof says he recently conducted a "thorough investigation" and now buys what the girls are selling regarding their party with Odom. He also says AMEX had a change of heart recently, and released its hold on the $75k charge Lamar made for ... services rendered.

As for biz, it's good. We're told there are already more than 20 clients asking to "party" with Lamar's chicks. Ryder capitalized on her notoriety by tweeting Lamar on Tuesday. Sell, sell, sell ...

Jay Glazer Chris Johnson Injury Is Nothing ... Compared to Gunshot!!!

Published | Updated

If you can come back from a BULLET WOUND you can come back from a cracked tibia ... so says Jay Glazer who tells TMZ Sports Chris Johnson WILL return to the NFL this season.

The AZ Cardinals RB suffered a broken tibia against the SF 49ers this weekend ... and some feared he could be done for the year -- which sucks considering he's been playing out of his mind.

But Glazer says Johnson's not your average guy when it comes to bouncing back -- and the proof is how quickly he was able to recover from the gunshot wound suffered in a drive-by earlier this year.

"Guy got shot in the shoulder. If you can come back from that, it'll be alright with the tibia."

Glazer has personal stake in the matter -- he's not only good friends with Johnson but trains him at his famous Unbreakable training center in L.A.

So, when will Chris return? Sooner than anyone thinks ... according to Jay.

Georgia Tech Cop Didn't Racially Profile Recruit ... 'Miscommunication'

Published | Updated

Georgia Tech is defending a campus police officer accused of racially profiling a high profile football recruit -- saying an incident at last week's game was simply a "miscommunication."

The man at the center of the controversy is Jordan Johnson -- one of the best high school linemen in the county.

Johnson and his mother were at the GT vs. Georgia game on Saturday -- but his mom was kicked out of their section by a GT police officer because she had no ticket.

Johnson says he was given a special lanyard which gave them access to a section for recruits and their families ... but claims the officer didn't care -- and treated them like they forged their badges and didn't belong.

Johnson has since decommitted from GT ... and some people feel the situation was another instance of racial profiling.

Now, a rep for the school has issued a statement essentially backing the officer.

"The Georgia Tech Police Department review of the complaint confirms the initial assessment as a miscommunication about seating and credentials in a section," a rep for GT says.

"The family was among those who were inappropriately sitting in the section and asked to relocate as part of a general sweep. Officials have been in contact with the family and are continuing to review the matter."

So far, no word if Johnson is buying the explanation -- or if he's even considering recommitting to GT.

Philadelphia 76ers 'Expecting a Sellout' For Kobe's Final Homecoming

Published | Updated

For a guy who supposedly doesn't like assists, Kobe Bryant just gave a HUGE one to the Philadelphia 76ers -- 'cause the team is expecting its 1st sellout of the season Tuesday night ... thanks to KB.

Of course, it's a big game in Philly -- the city where Kobe played his high school ball -- since it's the last time Kobe will step foot on their court as an NBA player.

We spoke to reps at the Wells Fargo center -- where the Sixers ball -- who tell us the fans have been clamoring for tix to the Sixers vs Lakers game ever since Kobe's retirement announcement.

"We anticipate the demand for tonight's game will result in a sellout," a rep for the Wells Fargo Center tells us.

"We have an extremely limited number of seats remaining for tonight's game at this point."

The Sixers are even worse than the Lakers this year (impossible, right?) and we're told fan interest had been lukewarm ... but the Mamba's swan song was enough to put butts in the seats for the first time all year.

As far as the game itself, we already know who's going to lose ... anyone who watches.

The security guard eventually puts the man into a tight headlock ... and several concerned fans jumped in trying to loosen his grip.

The fan -- John Small -- filed a police report on Monday morning and now we're told cops are actively investigating the situation as a possible Class A misdemeanor assault.

Small insists he did NOTHING WRONG and is asking other fans to come forward with video if they have it.

Published | Updated

Jahlil Okafor insists he NEVER tried to use a fake I.D. at a Philly bar back in October ... claiming reports to the contrary are completely bogus.

We spoke with Okafor's rep who tells us bluntly ... "He doesn't have a fake I.D. It never happened."

There's more ... Okafor's rep also says the NBA star did NOT request a private security detail to accompany him when he goes out to nightclubs and bars.

However, the rep says Jahlil's team HAS discussed plans to have security with him at team events. The rep says nothing is official at this point.

We also asked if Okafor would be seeking anger management or any other kind of treatment in the wake of the street fight in Boston ... and we were told there are no immediate plans for that either.

"We have no immediate plans for that at the moment, but he has a huge family and they have been rallying around him."'

The rep adds, "There are no plans for him to go out any time soon."

Kobe Bryant Lakers Mulling Jersey Issue ... Which Number to Retire?

Published | Updated

The Kobe Bryant jersey debate has now reached the Lakers front office -- with a team rep telling us they plan on having official meetings to decide which number to retire ... #8 or #24???

A spokesperson for the team tells TMZ Sports, "We have had a couple very casual and preliminary conversations internally about this over the past few years."

"But now that Kobe has officially announced a retirement date, I anticipate we will discuss this more formally in the coming weeks and months."

Of course, the issue is that Bryant dominated in both numbers ... winning 3 NBA championships in #8 (2000, 2001, 2002) and 2 in #24 (2009, 2010).

One former Lakers star is already weighing in -- with Rick Fox saying the team should just retire 'em BOTH!!

Not a bad idea ...
