Cespedes has become OBSESSED with designing and customizing whips -- especially with Alex Vegas from The Auto Firm in Miami.

So, all he needed was an excuse to splurge on a new ride -- and the World Series run felt like the perfect reason.

The result? A custom Avorza Polaris -- with Avorza red and grey leather seats and a custom red #52 on the hood.

In total, Cespedes put $75k worth of work into the $20k car ... and the end result is pretty sweet.

It'll look pretty good next to that fire-breathing Lambo that's already in his garage ...

You knew it was coming ... Ex-NBA player Jay Williams says he has a perfectly good explanation for why he lost his 1-on-1 game with MTV star Andrew Schulz ... and he's spilling his guts to us.

Jay was out in NYC when he wanted to talk to us about the shot heard 'round the Twitter ... Schulz's desperation last ditch heave that has put Williams on a crow based diet for the foreseeable future.

Seems the Greg Hardy photos aren't scaring off one of the Dallas Cowboys' biggest sponsors -- with American Airlines vowing to stand by the team ... despite the controversy.

Kurt Busch is firing back at the clothing company that sued him ... saying he lost hundreds of thousands of dollars into a brand that operated like a Ponzi scheme.

Busch is countersuing Panic Switch clothing line, saying he gave them a ton of big time exposure and money and never got it back. Kurt claims the company used his $375k investment to help pay off a $500k loan they had already taken out.

He says he introduced Panic Switch execs to other big name NASCAR drivers, who cut deals with the company but ended up backing out after PS didn't pay royalties or show proof of sales.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says the team will NOT cut, suspend or even bench Greg Hardy after seeing the brutal pics of his ex-GF from his domestic violence case ... saying, "We have given Greg a second chance."

Jones says the team was obviously aware of the allegations against Hardy before they signed him earlier this year -- but had NOT seen the pictures of the alleged victim until Friday.

"While we did not have access to the photos that became public today, we were and are aware of the serious nature of this incident."

Jones says, "We as an organization take this very seriously. We do not condone domestic violence. We entered into the agreement with Greg fully understanding that there would be scrutiny and criticism."

"We have given Greg a second chance. He is a member of our team and someone who is grateful for the opportunity he has been given to move forward with his life and his career.”

Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette is "up and walking" after undergoing surgery for ligament damage in his neck this week ... this according to Ricardo's dad.

Lockette was carted off the field on Sunday after taking a devastating blow from Dallas Cowboys safety Jeff Heath. He was diagnosed with a concussion, suffered disk and ligament damage and will not play again this season.

The 29-year-old underwent surgery the next day at Baylor University -- and now, his father Earl Lockette tells TMZ Sports he's well on the road to recovery.

"Ricardo is up and walking. He's really energetic and looking forward to rehab as the next step."

"The family is extremely grateful for all the prayers and support from people around the country. Also, thank you to the press for the positive concern."

Kris Jenner, along with Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie, Kendall and Tyga ... all took a trip to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Friday to wish Lamar Odom happy birthday.

Lamar, who turns 36 today, is alone and laid up ... he's been there since October 19.

We're told the family will hang out in his room for a while. We're also told a select group of Lamar's longtime friends are also there. Our sources say none of Lamar's friends who are there were part of Lamar's drug crew.

UFC star Holly Holm is about to board a plane to Australia ... where she's set to take on Ronda Rousey next weekend ... and we gotta say, she looks like she's been training her ass off!

Holm just took this photo after her last hardcore training session and wrote -- "Time to head to Melbourne this evening. What a journey already and the fight is still to come. I love my life and this journey I am on."

Rousey and Holm are set to battle in Melbourne on Nov. 14th.

Donovan McNabb was just sentenced to 18 days in jail ... after pleading GUILTY to DUI in his June 28th arrest in Arizona ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Greg Hardy's girlfriend suffered brutal injuries all over her body -- including her face -- following the domestic violence incident with the NFL star in 2014 ... as seen in new police evidence photos.

The pictures were all taken within 24 hours of the attack, according to Deadspin, which obtained hundreds of pages of never before seen documents from the case.

Hardy was later convicted by a judge in North Carolina -- but the Dallas Cowboys star appealed and the case was thrown out when the victim refused to cooperate. The charges were officially expunged this week.

The NFL suspended Hardy 10 games .... but it was eventually reduced to 4.

We reached out to the NFL for comment -- so far, no word back.

Jay Cutler's wife Kristin Cavallari says she's "not ashamed" to admit she and the Bears QB attend couples therapy sessions ... admitting sometimes the two need help dealing with issues.

Kristin opened up to American Baby magazine about life with the NFL star ... and made some very candid comments about the challenges of being in a high profile relationship.

"I'm not ashamed to say that Jay and I consistently go to therapy, because it's been extremely beneficial for our relationship."

Cavallari -- who's pregnant with the couple's third child -- goes on to say that involving a third party helps her and Jay avoid playing the blame game with each other ... and focus on the issues at hand.

"When you're fighting you should never place blame on your partner by saying, ‘you do this' or ‘you do that.' You should say how those actions make you feel. It goes a long way."

David Beckham was left red in the face when he touched down in Nepal ... it's just what happens when you're a soccer god who gets the full deity treatment everywhere you go.

The entrepreneur is Kaeya Majmundar -- who appeared on the show last year with a collapsible "BZbox" and scored herself a deal with Lori Greiner.

But that was then ... now she's onto designing shirts -- and recently approached Derrick Rose about a design that featured his son's face right on the front.

"I graduated from college 3 months ago. So I moved from Atlanta, back to Chicago. I knew there were well-known people who lived in my residence building, so I started hanging out in the lobby from like 1 to 3 everyday. I met Derrick, and we became friends."

Kaeya says she noticed that Rose's son P.J. made a face during a post-game press conference that became a viral Internet meme ... so, she put it on a shirt and asked Rose and P.J.'s mom Mieka Reese if she could sell it.

Turns out, he was all about it ... and even rocked the shirt Thursday night after the Bulls defeated the Thunder. Kaeya says business immediately exploded.

"We got a 300 percent spike immediately. I got a crazy amount of orders ... This is bigger than the 'Shark Tank' effect. We told Derrick and he was very happy."
