There are NO negotiations for a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao rematch ... despite reports that Manny said the two sides were talking ... this according to Manny's promoter Bob Arum.

Reports surfaced out of Qatar this week that Manny told reporters he was in negotiations for one final fight ... and his team was in talks with Floyd's people.

So last night TMZ Sports went right to the man who would know -- Bob Arum -- the head of Top Rank, who puts together every deal for Pacquiao ... and he called complete and total BS on the rematch rumors.

"There's been no negotiations, no discussion and because of the scheduling I don't think its possible for it even to happen."

Embattled NFL star Greg Hardy -- the guy who was suspended for allegedly beating up his girlfriend -- is bragging that he'll never get "played" by a woman ever again.

Being accused of choking your ex-GF is terrible for business ... so says a clothing company that's suing Kurt Busch, claiming the negative publicity surrounding his domestic violence case almost destroyed them -- though Kurt says it's all a bunch of crap.

The NASCAR driver is being sued by the people behind the Panic Switch clothing line -- who say they struck a deal with Busch in 2013 to push the brand, specifically in the NASCAR community. At one point, Busch also loaned the company $300,000.

According to the suit, business seemed to be moving in the right direction -- but things came to a screeching halt when Busch was accused of beating up his ex, Patricia Driscoll, in September 2014.

For the record, Busch was never charged in the domestic violence case, with prosecutors ultimately saying there was not enough proof.

Still, Panic Switch says Busch's reputation became toxic and it dragged down the company -- which was unable to sign new drivers or close business deals because no one wanted ANYTHING to do with Busch. Panic is suing for unspecified damages.

Busch's lawyer Larry Stein tells TMZ Sports, "The complaint makes reckless allegations which are totally without merit."

"The complaint is nothing more than a false justification for their business failure which lost Kurt's money."

Several witnesses risked their own lives trying to rescue MTV star Erik Roner after he crashed into a tree during a skydiving accident last week ... attempting to scale a 30 foot tree in an effort to treat the injured man ... TMZ Sports has learned.

One of the kickers on the UCLA football team has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman he met at a party back in 2014 ... this according to police.

Officials say 20-year-old Adam Searl was arrested on October 8th and booked on 3 counts of rape. Searl has punted for UCLA five times this season.

According to investigators, Searl met the accuser at an off-campus party in Westwood in October 2014 and accompanied her to a nearby residence.

The woman claims she fell asleep -- but woke up to Searl raping her.

Officials launched an "exhaustive investigation" in conjunction with the UCLA PD -- and the woman eventually identified Searl as the assailant.

Searl was arrested without incident -- and has since been released on $300,000 bail.

UCLA football coach Jim Mora says Searl has been suspended by the team indefinitely while the legal process runs its course.

The next time you wanna talk smack about Houston Texans QB Ryan Mallett -- know that you're MAKING HIS GRANDMAS VERY SAD ... so says Ryan's dad.

We spoke with Jim Mallett ... who says he spent the night at Ryan's home after the Texans lost to the Colts Thursday night -- a game in which Ryan was pulled after suffering a minor injury in the 2nd quarter.

"He's pissed off. He's a competitor. He wants to be in there," Jim tells us ... "He was 8 for 10 when he came out. He wants to play."

Ryan's also been under attack for leaving the sidelines and heading towards the locker room before the 1st half was over ... but Jim says Ryan insists it was a simple mistake because he thought the clock ran out, he wasn't throwing a hissy fit.

"He said to me, 'I didn't do anything on purpose.' And I can tell you that's true. That's not Ryan."

"For people to portray him as a bad person or teammate, they don't understand. If they were to meet our family, they'd know he was a good person. A compassion kid. Competitor. Someone who wants to do what's right for the team."

Daniel "Booby" Gibson just became the first member of the NBA fraternity to endorse Matt Barnes alleged attack on Derek Fisher ... saying if it were him, he'd have laid the smack down too.

Gibson sat down with Charlamagne Tha God and the crew over at "The Breakfast Club," when he was asked what we would do if he thought an ex-teammate was gettin at his ex-woman.

NBA player Thabo Sefolosha was found NOT GUILTY on all counts stemming from a violent altercation with NYPD officers back in April ... opening the door for a civil suit against the NYPD.

As we previously reported, Thabo was taken into custody on April 8th -- after cops say he was obstructing officers from investigating the stabbing of NBA player Chris Copeland near 1 OAK nightclub.

Thabo says he sustained a major injury to his leg that night at the hands of the NYPD -- which forced him to miss the remainder of the NBA season and put his career in jeopardy.

Thabo was charged with 3 misdemeanors -- obstruction, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct/refusing to move.

We posted footage of the arrest on TMZ Sports -- which showed cops putting Thabo in a headlock and pulling him to the ground. At least one cop brandishes his nightstick.

Cops say Thabo was acting in an aggressive manner ... which justified the use of force. Thabo's attorney said BS ... and claimed the video essentially exonerates his client of any wrongdoing.

Prosecutors offered Thabo a plea deal -- but he rejected the offer because he wanted to clear his name.

Now that he can't fight for the next 5 years, UFC superstar Nick Diaz decided to spend a weeknight at the Hollywood club scene ... where he told he's happy Cher has his back!

Diaz -- who was hit with a 5 year suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission after testing positive for weed -- was leaving 1 OAK nightclub on the Sunset Strip Thursday night with a pretty thick unemployment beard.

So, we had to ask about Cher!
