There was no "I do" ... there was no bended knee ... there was no proposal -- because Drake and Serena Williams are NOT engaged to be married ... this according to a rep for the rapper.

Well this sucks ... the Dodgers just announced legendary broadcaster Vin Scully will miss working the playoffs after undergoing a medical procedure Thursday morning.

The Dodgers wouldn't say what the procedure was -- but insist the 87-year-old Hall of Famer is resting comfortably.

Scully made the decision to sit out the post-season on the advice of his doctors.

Still, the Dodgers insist Scully WILL return to the broadcasting booth next year for his 67th season with the team.

TMZ Sports just shot the first video of Derek Fisher out in public since his big fight with Matt Barnes over the weekend -- but take a close look ... he doesn't appear to look any worse for wear.

Victor was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery. His brother was charged with battery causing serious bodily injury.

If convicted, Victor faces up to 2 years in county jail ... which is a big deal, considering he's got a budding movie career with roles in flicks like "Southpaw" and "The Expendables."

There would be no sandwiches for Tank Abbott if he stepped into the Octagon with Ronda Rousey ... because she would "kill his face" ... so says Tito Ortiz.

As we previously reported, Abbott -- a UFC legend -- launched an attack on female fighters ... saying ALL women in the UFC are a pathetic joke, including Rousey.

Abbott says he'd put $100k of his own money against any woman in a real deal MMA fight -- but if they lost, the woman would have to make him a sandwich.

Matt Stafford's wife opened fire on the NFL -- blasting the league for its "incompetent refs" ... hours after they blew a huge call that cost her husband's team a victory.

By now you know the refs screwed up that "batted ball" call at the end of the Lions vs. Seahawks game on Monday night. Even the league admitted they screwed it up.

Enter Kelly Stafford ... who decided to take her shot at the refs on Instagram -- posting a screenshot of a text message exchange with Matt, in which the Lions QB says the league may fine him over his cleats.

Kelly's response -- "Tell the league that they can fine u for your cleats if we can fine them for their incompetent refs."
