P. Diddy will NOT be charged with a crime in the UCLA football melee ... TMZ has learned.

As TMZ reported, Diddy got extremely angry after his son Justin was sent home from football practice by Sal Alosi, the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the team.

New Orleans Saints superstar Cam Jordan says he's no ass-slapping maniac ... denying ALL allegations he went crazy inside a New Orleans nightclub.

As we previously reported, Jordan was named in a police report by a woman and her boyfriend who claim the NFL star got handsy in the club, sprayed them with champagne and called the lady a "bitch."

But in a statement issued through his attorney, Jordan says he did NOTHING WRONG -- "The allegations in this police report are ridiculous. Cam Jordan did not cause a disturbance of any kind."

"This complaining individual is apparently a jealous boyfriend who followed Mr. Jordan into the men's bathroom. "

The NYPD has launched an internal investigation after former tennis superstar James Blake was wrongly detained and allegedly roughed up by 5 officers who mistook him for a credit card crook ... TMZ Sports has learned.

35-year-old Blake -- who's African-American -- says he was slammed to the ground and handcuffed by 5 cops outside an NYC hotel on Wednesday as he was on his way to the U.S. Open.

An NYPD spokesperson tells us Blake was "misidentified" as a suspect in an ongoing investigation into fraudulently purchased cell phones.

"Once Blake was properly identified and found to have no connection to the investigation, he was released from police custody immediately."

"In regards to the alleged improper use of force, the Police Commissioner directed the internal affairs bureau to investigate."

And get this ... one source connected to the situation tells us that while Blake was being detained, it was a retired NYPD officer who informed detectives that the guy in handcuffs was James Blake.

As for Blake, he told the NY Daily News he can't be sure race was a factor -- but he's more pissed about what he considers an unjustified use of force.

Jen Welter tells TMZ Sports ... she has not been asked to walk Floyd Mayweather to the ring to fight Andre Berto on Sept. 12th ... but the NFL's first female coach will be at the weigh in.

Welter says the person who originally confirmed that she would be in Floyd's entourage was a former employee who was not authorized to act as Jen's rep.

TMZ Sports was contacted by the person after submitting a media request through Jen's official website. Jen says the person should not have had access to the site ... and says the situation "is being resolved."

There is this though ... we're told Jen's REAL rep, Leslie Swan, has been in touch with Floyd's camp to discuss the possibility of walking Floyd to the ring, but no formal offer has been made.

Floyd Mayweather and Andre Berto just got owned ... by Showtime, which is now gunning for anyone who tries to lure viewers away from the pay-per-view channel.

TMZ Sports has obtained the Cameron Jordan police report -- in which one witness claims the New Orleans Saints player stated in the nightclub, "I can have any bitch that I want."

Jordan is under investigation for allegedly slapping a woman's ass at Republic nightclub in N.O. and then spraying her and her boyfriend with champagne in an aggressive manner.

According to the police report, the accuser's boyfriend told cops he confronted Jordan about his disrespectful actions toward his GF in the restroom -- and that's when Jordan said, "I can have any bitch that I want."

The BF says he told Jordan, "She was not a bitch. She's my girlfriend."

The man claims Jordan condescendingly asked, "How much do you weigh? 180?"

The BF told him he weighed 190 -- and that's when Jordan allegedly picked him up and "held him high in the air against his will while passersby took pictures."

Cops were notified and began investigating and the sex crimes unit was contacted to look into the alleged ass slap.

11:42 AM PT -- The Kern County D.A.'s office tells us Phillips has NOT been charged with sexual assault and there is no pending sexual case against him.

Translation -- the sexual assault kit must have not shown any signs of a sexual assault.

Another shocking twist in the Lawrence Phillips murder case ... TMZ Sports has learned officials believe the victim may have been sexually assaulted around the time he was killed.

The former NFL running back has already been charged with 1st degree murder in the April 11th death of his cellmate at Kern Valley State Prison ... where Phillips was already serving time for a plethora of other crimes.

But an incident report obtained by TMZ Sports shows officials administered a sexual assault kit on the victim in the days following the murder.

We spoke with officials involved in the murder investigation who tell us a sexual assault kit is NOT a standard operating procedure with murder victims at KVSP -- "There would have to be a reason to believe [a sexual assault occurred]. Some evidence or something else."

It's unclear what the sexual assault kit turned up -- or if prosecutors plan to charge Phillips with a sex crime.

Great news for Ronda Rousey -- one the stars of the original "Road House" says he's PUMPED the UFC champ will star in the remake ... saying it's the perfect way to honor Patrick Swayze.

We spoke with Marshall Teague -- who played Jimmy (the kung fu bad guy) in the 1989 flick. Jimmy was the guy who had his THROAT RIPPED OUT by James Dalton (Swayze) during the lake fight.

Now, with Rousey tapped to star in the reboot -- Teague says Ronda is the PERFECT lead.

"Adding Ronda is a great idea. You don't want to try to rebuild Patrick Swayze. He was a unique talent and can't be duplicated."

Teague adds, "Ronda knows it's not going to be easy. Fans of the original might question her, but we all know she will do great."

As for Ronda, she issued a statement saying, "It is a great honor to play a part in celebrating the life of a man that inspired so many. I couldn't be more grateful to have this opportunity to pay respect to the beloved Patrick Swayze."

Just because Wladimir Klitschko moved in with his baby mama and fiancee Hayden Panettiere doesn't mean he gets control of the decor ... which is why the boxing champ sleeps in a pretty pink bedroom.

Good news for ex-Atlanta Hawks player Pero Antic -- TMZ Sports has learned officials are DROPPING the case against him for his role in that violent clash with NYPD officers back in April.

As we previously reported, Antic and his ATL teammate Thabo Sefolosha were both arrested outside 1 OAK nightclub on April 8th ... in the melee that ensued after another NBA player (Chris Copeland) was stabbed nearby.

Cops say both Pero and Thabo refused to leave the crime scene -- and the situation escalated with both NBA players ultimately getting arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing authorities. At the time, cops said Pero had gotten physical with one of the arresting officers.

Cops investigated the incident ... and we're told officials are now convinced Pero was trying to DEFUSE the situation.

As one source puts is ... while Sefolosha was resisting arrest, Pero was trying to tell him to calm down and do what the officer said. When Pero grabbed the officer's shoulder, officials don't believe it was in an aggressive manner and the cop was not injured.

Bottom line -- Pero's off the hook.

As for Sefolosha ... a trial date has been set for October 5th. Thabo says he suffered serious damage to his leg at the hands of the arresting officers.

Floyd Mayweather doesn't really have a solution for his big ticket catastrophe -- saying he's merely crossing his fingers and hoping that sales go up for his retirement fight with Andre Berto.

Floyd faced the media Tuesday -- where he was asked straight up if he was worried about the shocking lack of interest in the Sept. 12th bout ... with thousands of tickets still unsold.

"I just try to stay positive and keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best," Mayweather said.

Floyd then kicked the question over to Mayweather Promotions CEO, Leonard Ellerbe -- who said the slow sales are NOT concerning at all ... "normal business."

Today in Ridiculous Donald Sterling Lawsuits -- Donald sues over an oil painting of HIMSELF that he claims an old friend took and won't give back ... seriously.

Yup, the disgraced former L.A. Clippers owner claims his former female "friend" Maiko Maya King took several items from him in 2014 when she had access to his home ... and refuses to give them back.

Among the items ... an oil painting of Sterling, an envelope with $10,000 cash (hmmm ... ) and a hearing aid with a special battery.

Oh, and in the court docs, obtained by TMZ Sports, Sterling argues that his painting is worth ... get this ... $10,000!!!!! (Who the hell would ever pay for that?).
