Shelly Sterling might be the richest person in the history of the world to nail her ancient hubby for spousal support.

Shelly fired off legal docs in her bizarre divorce from her BFF hubby Donald Sterling ... bizarre because they still hang out together, most recently at a Beverly Hills pawn shop.

As for why Shelly needs spousal support ... it's a conundrum. The Sterling's net worth is estimated at $3 billion -- that includes the $2 billion they pocketed for the Clippers. Since they were married in 1955 -- 2 years before the Dodgers moved from Brooklyn -- each will walk away very, very very very rich.

The NFL's first female coach is getting some major support from an unlikely ally ... Floyd Mayweather ... who reached out to Jen Welter and offered her ringside seats to his next fight because he's a huge fan.

FYI -- Welter made history earlier this year when she was offered a coaching "internship" with the Arizona Cardinals ... working primarily with the linebackers.

We spoke with Welter's rep who tells us ... after her story attracted national attention, they got a call from Team Mayweather ... who offered 2 ringside seats to his upcoming fight against Andre Berto.

We're told Mayweather is a fan -- and wanted to show his support. As for Welter, she's flattered and we're told she's definitely planning on attending.

The Shannon Briggs vs. Wladimir Klitschko feud just hit new levels -- with tensions exploding in a Florida gym ... and Evander Holyfield had to jump in to save the day ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Briggs -- a former heavyweight champ -- confronted his arch enemy in the boxing gym where they're both known to work out ... and as usual, got in Klitschko's face and called him out for refusing to fight him in the ring.

At one point, Wlad put one of his hands on Briggs -- which PISSED SHANNON OFF!

Things got physical and Briggs tells TMZ Sports .... that's when Holyfield, along with another boxing champ, Michael Moorer, jumped into action and separated the two.

By the way, the boxing champs are all in town to shoot a boxing documentary about heavyweights.

Backup QBs always stick together -- just ask Chad Henne who says Jimmy Garoppolo shouldn't be bitter now that he's lost the starting job ... saying, "It's the way the business goes."

Of course, Jimmy G was all set to cover for Tom Brady as the starting QB for the New England Patriots for the first 4 games of the season ... but that was BEFORE Tom's suspension was overturned.

But Henne -- who's the #2 QB in Jacksonville at the moment -- says Jimmy needs to stay positive ... and more importantly, stay ready.

Joey Chestnut's losing streak goes way beyond competitive eating ... 'cause the ex-champ is revealing a major defeat he suffered in the bedroom -- and it's pretty nasty.

Joey joined #DateFails, a podcast co-hosted by comedians Stephen Kramer Glickman and Kate Quigley last week ... and to stay true to the name of the show, he let loose with a tale about about a 2009 hookup with a chick he met at a party -- hours after he was in a chili burrito competition.

You gotta hear the story, but fair warning ... it ends with him paying $600 for a cleanup crew in the woman's bedroom.

Terrell Owens' estranged wife Rachel Snider is livid at the former NFL star ... publicly bashing him for appearing on "Celebrity Wife Swap" with another woman ... while the two are still married.

Owens and Snider separated after three days of marriage back in 2014, but they're not officially divorced. So when Snider got word that T.O. was appearing on "Celebrity Wife Swap" with another woman and family ... she blasted him (and the network) on Twitter.

"No I don't know who that woman is , and no I do t know how @usacelebritywif has my estranged husband on there with this woman," Snider wrote.

Owens fired back ... telling Rachel, "U're nothing to me. U just want attention."

John Wall had a pretty great birthday party last night -- with celebs, and cake and a $20,000 portrait from a famous street artist, TMZ Sports has learned.

Wall -- who turns 25 on Sunday -- hit up Koi in West Hollywood for a bday bash thrown by Haute Time Magazine. Party organizers tell us guests included several billionaires, top Google execs and NBA superfan Jimmy Goldstein.

But the highlight was the gift -- a custom John Wall portrait painted by Madsteez ... one of the top street artists in the world. We're told the piece cost $20k to commission.

Wall also got a custom $8,000 suit from designer David August and a $2,500 Ulysses Nardin barometer.

Big win for ex-NBA star Michael Beasley in his rape case in Arizona -- the judge has thrown out the $25 MILLION lawsuit filed against him ... but he's not out of the woods yet.

As we previously reported, Beasley -- the #2 overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft -- was sued for sexual assault and kidnapping by a woman who claims he raped her in 2013.

The woman decided to go after Beasley in civil court after a police investigation found no evidence of a sexual assault.

But now, the judge has kicked the suit to the curb -- citing Arizona laws which don't allow a person to sue for "sexual assault" or "kidnapping." You can prosecute for said allegations, but not sue.

In the judge's explanation, he explains that the accuser could technically sue for "battery" ... but she would need to amend her suit and file it all over again.

As for the kidnapping allegation, the judge says the allegations sound more like false imprisonment ... but the statute of limitations ran out on that ... so she's S.O.L.

So, for now, the case has been dismissed ... but the accuser's attorney tells us they plan to move forward with a battery suit.

UFC superstar Nick Diaz did NOT look happy in his mug shot -- taken moments ago -- but shoulda been smilin' ... 'cause he'll be free in no time thanks to a GREAT deal in his two DUI cases.

As we previously reported, Diaz was busted for DUI in 2013 and 2014 -- but cut a deal with prosecutors for both cases -- and he was only sentenced to a grand total of TWO days in jail.

And get this ... he already got credit for one day for the time he served when he was initially arrested.

Diaz turned himself into the San Joaquin County Jail at 10:11 AM PT -- and he'll definitely be out in a matter of minutes.

Not bad.

To say New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft thinks highly of his star QB is a gross understatement ... and the proof is in his post-Deflategate comments on the situation.

"As I have said during this process and throughout his Patriots career, Tom Brady is a classy person of the highest integrity," Kraft said.

"He represents everything that is great about this game and this league."

Geez, get a room already ...

Still. Kraft goes on ... "Yet, with absolutely no evidence of any actions of wrongdoing by Tom in the Wells report, the lawyers at the league still insisted on imposing and defending unwarranted and unprecedented discipline. Judge Richard Berman understood this and we are greatly appreciative of his thoughtful decision that was delivered today."

Snoop Dogg is calling B.S. on the Tom Brady ruling -- basically saying it ain't fair that Brady will skate ... while players suspended for weed will still be forced to miss games.

Snoop is specifically pissed over Le'Veon Bell -- the Pittsburgh Steelers running back who's suspended for 2 games stemming from a marijuana arrest back in 2014.

In his rant, Snoop calls the situation "bulls**t" ... and then writes, "Do we get leveon bell 26 bac for game one or does this rule just apply to qbs?"

Donald Trump just declared war on Kareem Abdul-Jabbar -- claiming he's a clueless bonehead ... and nobody likes him.

Seriously, this really happened.

Trump spelled out his issues with the NBA legend in a handwritten note -- after Kareem had penned an article for the Washington Post in which he called Trump a "bully" who's bad for America.

So, Trump being Trump -- responded in his own Trumpish way ... he wrote a note ON a copy of Kareem's article.

"Dear Kareem,

Now I know why the press always treated you so badly — they couldn’t stand you. The fact is that you don’t have a clue about life and what has to be done to make America great again!

Best wishes,

Donald Trump"

Kareem has already responded -- writing, "Trump’s response to my piece is the best, though inelegant, support for my claims.Here again, he attacks a journalist who disagrees with him, not by disputing the points made but by hurling schoolyard insults such as 'nobody likes you.'"

9:20 AM PT -- NFL commish Roger Goodell just issued a statement announcing the league will appeal the judge's decision.

Tom Brady just doesn't lose.

The New England Patriots star just defeated the NFL -- with the judge in the Deflategate case NULLIFYING his 4 game suspension for his alleged role in the scandal.

Just weeks after leaving rehab, NBA star Ty Lawson has returned to the Hollywood club scene ... only smarter ... this time, leaving as a PASSENGER in a waiting ride, TMZ Sports has learned.

The Houston Rockets star -- who was arrested for DUI back in July and in January -- was leaving Warwick on Sunset Blvd. around 1:40 AM ... but appeared completely sober.

It's not illegal for Lawson to be around booze -- he's just not allowed to drink it -- which is why the judge in his Denver DUI case ordered him to be on monitored sobriety and install a monitoring device in his home.

Might finally be time to stick a fork in Joey Chestnut, 'cause after tasting defeat at the Hot Dog championships ... the eating legend has now lost at RIBS as well.

FYI -- Chestnut was the reigning rib champion at the annual Rib Cook-Off at the Nugget in Sparks, Nevada ... "was" being the operative word, thanks to his arch enemy Matt Stonie.

Stonie ate like a MONSTER Wednesday night -- throwing down 10.5 POUNDS of ribs in 12 minutes. Chestnut only sucked down 9.75 pounds, good enough for 2nd place.

It's been a rough year for Joey -- after losing his crown at Nathan's Hot Dog eating championships on July 4th ... and even breaking off his engagement to his GF earlier this year.

Let's not take away from Stonie's accomplishments though -- his numbers are good ... and at 23 years old, he seems to be the future of gluttony.
