Good news for the Marine who scored a date with Ronda Rousey -- U.S.M.C brass is totally cool with the UFC champ turning up at the party.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor dropped a ton of knowledge on us -- about his upcoming fight, his super ballin' watch, and even crowned Ireland's true king of badassery.

Where to start? First off ... you've gotta see the timepiece the reigning featherweight champ is rocking in this clip -- Conor says it's the ONLY one in North America ... which explains the $200k price tag!

Then Conor talked some smack about rival Jose Aldo and their Dec. 12 fight. His words of inspiration? "Show the f**k up!" There's more, but that's the Cliff's Notes.

And best of all -- 'The Notorious' one weighed in on who's top dog in Ireland right now ... with himself, Liam Neeson, and Bono (yes, the little guy from U2) on the ballot.

Robert Griffin III is weighing in on the drama surrounding Will Smith's upcoming movie about the NFL and concussions ... saying he strongly believes the flick is going to piss a lot of people off.

The movie, "Concussion," has been getting a lot of heat since the trailer dropped this week -- with some saying the movie is sensationalizing a non-issue ... and others saying it will blow the lid off the diabolical way the league has handled head injuries over the years.

RG3 is an interesting person to ask considering he's currently sidelined due to a concussion he suffered during the NFL pre-season.

So, how does RG3 feel?

"I don't know what [the movie] is going to entail, but I'm sure it'll make a lot of people mad," Griffin says ... "Show 'em what it's REALLY about to have those kind of injuries."

The movie is set to open in December -- should be interesting to see what happens.

Everyone knows you NEVER BRING A LOADED GUN TO AN AIRPORT ... everyone, except Dwight Howard apparently.

The rumors were TRUE -- NBA star Iman Shumpert just announced his GF Teyana Taylor is pregnant with their little girl ... and he's already picked out the name, Iman Shumpert Jr.

Iman and the R&B singer have been an item since last year ... and lately rumors have been swirling that they were expecting.

Moments ago, the Cleveland Cavaliers star confirmed everything -- saying, "I couldn't be more happy than to share my first child with the woman I intended to have my family with."

He added, "Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr is expected to enter this world '1.16.16.'"

"I love you @teyanataylor thank you for your sacrifice in starting our very own family! P.s. I know you see my daughter with her hand behind her head and her feet kicked up...she's already daddy's little girl!!!

Iman is definitely a unisex name -- but it's the first time we've ever heard someone use the "Junior" tag to a kid of the opposite sex.

But hey, your kid, your rules.

Congrats!

Well, you're about to see it in action -- courtesy of boxer Adrien Broner.

Long story short .... Adrien's taken a vow of silence (crazy, considering how much he loves to talk) until his Oct. 3rd bout with Khabib Allakhverdiev.

So, he appointed his assistant "White Ticket" to speak for him at a news conference yesterday. Things went swimmingly ... until Adrian directed him to use the N-word.

Note: "White Ticket" is white.

A female MMA fighter put the SMACK down on an alleged male attacker who tried to rob her in Brazil last night ... choking the guy into submission with her legs ... and it was caught on video.

The bad ass crime stopper is Monique Bastos -- who says she was on her way to jiu-jitsu training when she was attacked by two men who demanded her cell phone.

Monique told MMAFighting.com one of the men was able to run off with the cell -- but she managed to trip up the second guy ... and locked him up in a triangle choke.

The video is insane ... you can see the alleged attacker BEGGING for mercy. She held the guy for 15 minutes before cops came and arrested the suspect.

Unfortunately, Bastos says the situation was all too familiar ... as she had been robbed in the past.

"I’ve been through this a few times before, and it’s the second time I fought back."

Question is ... have the low prices resulted in more sales?

The man who allegedly tried to SELL O.J. Simpson's stolen Heisman Trophy and plaque has been charged in the case ... and faces up to 6 years in state prison if convicted ... TMZ Sports has learned.

As we previously reported, the suspect is ADAMANT he's not the person who originally stole the 1968 trophy and plaque from Heritage Hall at USC in 1994 ... but admitted he did barter for them in 1996, trading a Honda Accord and $500 cash.

Cops say the man hid the items for nearly 2 decades -- until late last year, when he allegedly tried to sell them -- heating up a case that had gone ice cold. Officials say the man knew the trophy was stolen when he came into possession of it.

The suspect was arrested Monday after nearly a year-long investigation ... and he was charged with one count of receiving stolen property. He's set to be arraigned later today.

As for the person who originally stole the trophy from USC -- still no lead on that person.

Here's your feel good moment of the day ... when Lance Corporal Jarrod Haschert learned Ronda Rousey ACCEPTED his invite to the Marine Corps Ball ... and he was totally pumped!!!

Haschert appeared on "TMZ on TV" Tuesday -- when Harvey broke the good news ... that Ronda saw his viral video invitation and thought he was cute!

John Daly was singing at the top of his lungs last night ... which is miraculous considering one of them had COLLAPSED just a few days ago.

But what makes this video so impressive -- Daly reportedly collapsed and was rushed to a hospital on Saturday during a golf tournament. In fact, one report says the situation was so dire, Daly wasn't breathing for 3 minutes and needed CPR to revive him.

Manny Pacquiao's boxing career is on its last legs ... with his promoter saying the fighter will retire next year -- to focus on becoming President of the Philippines!

Bob Arum was out at Craig's Tuesday night when he told us Manny is planning to fight again next year once he heals up -- but that's probably the very last bout for the 36-year-old.

"He's gonna fight again next year but his goal is to become a senator in the Philippines, which he will be next year, and then to be president."

Sad news for the woman who claimed she was pregnant with Adrian Peterson's 9th kid -- TMZ Sports has learned she had a miscarriage ... but she's still gunning for AP's cash.

As we previously reported, the woman -- a massage therapist -- was asking for roughly $2 MILLION from the NFL star to cover 18 years of child support, education, medical expenses, etc.

But now, people directly involved in the situation tell us ... the woman lost the baby over the weekend.

The woman, however, claims she saved the "fetal tissue" and wants to get a DNA test because she still wants Peterson to foot the bill for things like medical expenses involved with the pregnancy and the miscarriage. She also wants to be paid for the "pain and suffering" she's experienced.

Peterson's lawyers had already rejected the woman's first proposal for a settlement -- but had said they would consider a reasonable number, if a DNA test proved the child was his.

NFL legend Warren Moon has some advice for Robert Griffin III -- STOP PASSING THE BUCK!

TMZ Sports spoke with the NFL Hall of Famer who admits he feels bad that RG3's "fairy tale" career has hit the skids ... but says the QB has no one to blame but himself.

"He hasn't helped his situation. All that social media stuff. You just can't do that. You have to focus."

The "social media stuff" Moon's talking about is this week's Instagram debacle -- when Griffin appeared to "like" an anti-Redskins post ... only to later blame the whole thing on an intern.

Moon says the situation is just another example of RG3 refusing to hold himself accountable when things go bad.

"He needs to take more blame and stop passing the buck ... even if it is someone else's fault. He's not popular with his teammates because of the way he handles things."

Moon adds, "He's the quarterback. And part of that is accepting blame when it's not your fault because you also get all the credit when sometimes you shouldn't."

Warren says he's tried to reach out to Griffin on multiple occasions -- but hasn't been able to get through to the guy. Still, he's offering one last piece of advice:
