More damage for the UCLA football star who allegedly fought and robbed an Uber driver ... now the guy has just been suspended indefinitely and will probably miss the season opener.

The alleged Uber jacker is Ishmael Adams -- one of the best cornerbacks in the country -- and according to cops ... sworn enemy of one upset Uber driver.

As we previously reported, Adams allegedly forcibly robbed an Uber driver of his cell phone early Sunday morning ... while conveniently located in front of a police station. Oops.

Now, UCLA head coach Jim Mora has announced that Adams has been suspended indefinitely while police investigate ... bad news for the #13 ranked Bruins who takes on Virginia Saturday.

BTW -- it's been a hell of an off-season for Mora -- who's already had to deal with a kettle-swingin' Diddy, losing a huge recruit in Snoop's son ... and now, a Man vs. Uber situation.

Cops say Jimmy Snuka has been lying about what REALLY happened the day his GF died for DECADES ... and his own autobiography helped convince cops he's the murderer.

TMZ Sports has obtained documents from the grand jury that indicted the former WWF superstar ... which spells out why investigators believe he killed Nancy Argentino in 1983.

Long story short ... cops say Snuka told investigators in 1983 that Nancy injured her head while the two were "fooling around" outside of their motel room in Allentown, PA when he pushed her and she fell, striking her head.

Fast forward to 2012 ... when Snuka published his autobiography, "Superfly: The Jimmy Snuka Story" in which Jimmy's story changes RADICALLY.

In the book, Snuka says Nancy slipped and fell on her own while going to the bathroom at a rest stop. He makes no mention of an altercation whatsoever.

Well, cops took notice of the extreme change in his story and reopened the case -- ultimately, determining there was enough evidence to prove Snuka laid a serious beatdown on Nancy, which directly caused her death.

NBA star Markieff Morris could be on his way to the Houston Rockets … if Common’s Instagram is to be believed … and if the photo he posted is actually of Markieff and not his twin brother Marcus.

Common worked out in Los Angeles Tuesday with a few members of the Rockets … and one of the Morris twins. The problem is … we can’t tell which one (they are twins, after all).

What makes this photo (possibly) a big deal ... Markieff has requested to be traded from the Phoenix Suns (because they traded his brother to Detroit) and the Rockets are seemingly a preferred landing spot.

So, if this photo really is Markieff -- it would appear to be pretty strong evidence he got his wish and will join the Rockets next season.

TMZ Sports has obtained the mug shots for former San Francisco 49ers teammates Ray McDonald and Ahmad Brooks ... taken after they were charged with sexual crimes stemming from a 2014 incident.

McDonald -- who has since been cut by the team -- was indicted by a Santa Clara County Grand Jury last week on one count of rape of an intoxicated person. The accuser is a 30-year-old woman who says the incident took place at Ray's home.

As for Brooks -- he's still on the 49ers -- and prosecutors have charged him with misdemeanor sexual battery against the same woman.

The alleged victim claims she met McDonald at a bar in San Jose, CA on December 14th and went back to his nearby home. The woman claims she remembers falling and hitting her head near Ray's hot tub and woke up in his bed.

She claims Brooks groped her in a sexual manner while she was unconscious ... and says surveillance video will prove her story.

As for Ray, he claims the sex was consensual.

McDonald will be arraigned on September 25.

Former WWF superstar "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka -- a member of the WWE Hall of Fame -- will be charged with murdering his girlfriend in an incident that happened 32 YEARS AGO.

The good news ... the guy's not terrible at ping pong.

Bet his GF is better though.

L.A. Lakers rookie D'Angelo Russell is already taking advantage of his NBA paychecks -- droppin' $2k on a designer Louis Vuitton backpack ... that he rocked to Dodger Stadium.

Russell threw out of the first pitch Monday night ... and despite the fact his mechanics were rough, dude fired a strike ... unlike other NBA stars including Paul Pierce.

Chris Leben -- former UFC fighter who appeared on Season 1 of "The Ultimate Fighter" -- will do 30 days behind bars for bringing an ASSAULT RIFLE to his estranged wife's apartment building.

The 35-year-old was arrested on June 8th after his estranged wife called 911 and said Leben was trying to scale a wall and break into her apartment with a loaded .45 caliber handgun.

Officials say he was also in possession of a AR-15 assault rifle and was wearing a shirt that said, "Shoot First."

Leben was eventually charged with a slew of crimes -- including felony possession of an assault weapon, violating a court order and several counts of vandalism.

He may be on the Disabled List, but Yasiel Puig's hamstring was healthy enough to walk around Beverly Hills Monday ... hitting up some of the most expensive stores in the world in the process.

The L.A. Dodgers star and his lady friend first rolled into Versace ... and while we're not exactly sure what's in the bag, we're told Yasiel LOVES to buy Versace shoes for himself.

BTW, the cheapest pair of Versace shoes run for $595 ... and even the flip flops are $625.

The post in question was a rant by a Skins fan who said, "I don't regret the skins grabbing RG, I do regret having a sorry ass team owner and sorry ass front office who couldn't put a winning coaching staff together who could actually compete for a super bowl."

After people noticed that RG3 "liked" the post -- the QB went into damage control ... and posted his explanation.

"One of our interns who helps with Instagram liked the post. As soon as I was made aware of it, it was immediately unliked."

Griffin continued, "I did not 'like' that IG post ridiculing our team. I have not been social media active consistently for awhile now and am ultra-focused on working to get back on the field and trying to help this team."

So far, the I.D. of the mysterious "intern" has not been revealed ...
