The Stanley Cup is probably nursing the mother of all hangovers right now ... 'cause hours after the L.A. Kings beat up the NJ Devils, the champions took the trophy to their favorite local bar in Hermosa Beach.

Stanley Cup Finals MVP Jonathan Quick -- along with several of his teammates -- brought Stanley to the North End Bar and Grill last night ... where the unofficial team celebration went down.

But Stanley wasn't the only piece of championship hardware in the building, Quick also brought along his MVP trophy ... which sat right next to Lord Stanley's Cup at the front of the bar.

Go Kings Go.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. says he's begun to shrivel up into a puny regular person during his first 12 days in the big house ... and he's worried he won't be able to bounce back in time to save his boxing career.

Mayweather made the statements in new legal papers ... in which he begs the judge to release him from the Clark County Detention Center in Nevada and let him serve the remaining time in his 3-month sentence on house arrest. FYI -- Floyd is currently locked up for beating his baby mama in front of their kids last year.

In the docs, Mayweather says he spends 23 hours-per-day locked in isolation for his own safety. But he claims the imprisonment is taking a "cruel and inhuman" toll on his rippling physique because he can't train at a world class level while serving his time.

Mayweather claims his doctor is concerned about his "dehydrated appearance, his lack of muscle tone and his dry mucus membranes."

Floyd says his doctor also "expressed deep concern for [Floyd's] health and explained that any lengthy period of time with an inappropriate diet, coupled with lack of regular exercise, will most likely lead to irreversible damage to Mr. Mayweather's physique."

Floyd's doctor also told the court he's concerned about Floyd's diet ... because he used to eat 3,000 to 4,000 calories per day ... and now, the doc believes FM is eating less than 800.

In the papers, 35-year-old Floyd estimates he only has 2 years of boxing left in his career ... so every day counts.

The NJ Devils couldn't have been too upset after the L.A. Kings destroyed 'em in the Stanley Cup Finals last night ... 'cause the whole team put on their finest suits and partied their faces off in Hollywood!

Jacob Josefson and a bunch of his teammates hit up the AV Nightclub for a little while ... before piling into cabs and limos and speeding off into the night.

Vanessa Bryant will NOT sign documents to make her divorce final ... at least for now ... because TMZ has learned, she and Kobe are working on a full reconciliation.

We've learned Kobe and Vanessa are trying to work out the issues that caused her to file for divorce back in December. They spend a lot of time together but he has not officially moved back in with her.

Under California law, Vanessa has to wait 6 months before she can file final docs making the divorce official. The 6-month mark hits this weekend, so Vanessa could end the marriage as early as Monday ... but we know she won't.

Now here's the deal. We're told Kobe and Vanessa have had their ups and downs since she filed for divorce ... and there's nothing stopping her from filing final divorce papers at some point in the future if things don't work out.

One more thing. If Kobe and Vanessa end up living together ... it will be in one of her 3 mansions, because he signed over all the deeds to her while they were working out divorce details.

It doesn't matter that his father is ULTRA-RICH, Diddy's son Justin Combs deserves his football scholarship to UCLA and shouldn't feel bad about taking the money ... so says Justin's brother.

TMZ spoke with Quincy Jones Brown -- Diddy's informal stepson from on-again, off-again GF Kim Porter and asked about the controversy surrounding Justin. Should his family's enormous wealth disqualify Combs from scholarship contention?

Brown explained ... it's not about the money, it's about the prestige ... and Justin has EARNED the prestige of being a scholarship athlete.

"He deserves a scholarship," Quincy explained ... adding, "He is a true talented athlete."

Another interesting twist in James Loney's bizarre Maserati-crashing, eyelid-twitching, super-sweaty, breathalyzer-refusing incident -- TMZ has learned the L.A. Dodgers star has been sued over one of the cars he allegedly hit that day.

Mid-Century Insurance Company just filed a lawsuit against Loney -- claiming the baseball player CAUSED the infamous multi-car wreck in L.A. back in November ... and therefore he's liable for the $30,506.79 worth of damage to a 2008 Mercedes that was banged up in the pileup.

At the time of the crash, cops said Loney was acting incredibly strange ... and blamed the accident on another driver -- telling one officer, "The b*tch hit me from behind."

Cops said Loney didn't know what day it was ... and spit the mouthpiece of a breathalyzer at a cop when they tried to test him for booze.

Kris Humphries' lawyers had a telephone conference with FBI agents earlier today TMZ has learned ... and they handed over evidence allegedly proving his ex-flame Myla Sinanaj attempted to extort him.

TMZ broke the story ... Kris' camp reached out to the Feds after Myla allegedly demanded a large sum of money in exchange for her silence ... regarding incriminating details about her relationship with Kris.

Sources tell TMZ, Kris' lawyers had the conference with FBI officials in Minnesota this AM and turned over multiple recorded messages from Myla which Kris' people say proves extortion.

It's either a sign of respect ... or a sign that he wants out of L.A. ... but Los Angeles Lakers star Metta World Peace donned a Vancouver Grizzlies jersey this weekend while rapping in Canada.

A couple of noteworthy points -- first, the Grizzlies left Vancouver in 2001 and moved to Memphis.

Second, the bar where Metta was rapping is located in Vancouver.

Still, an interesting move, considering Metta is in the middle of a 5-year $33 million contract he signed with the Lakers back in 2009 ... and when a team's paying you $33 MILLION ... you don't put on another team's uniform.

So, we gotta ask ...

Kris Humphries is no dummy when it comes to alleged extortion, because we've learned his lawyers contacted FBI agents Friday, claiming his ex-flame Myla Sinanaj tried to extort him by demanding a large sum of money, or else she'd release damaging information about their relationship to the media.

As we first reported, lawyers for Kris and Myla were jawboning Friday ... Kris' lawyers were trying to get her to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

As for why they want to muzzle her, sources connected with Myla say she has emails, texts and other documents chronicling their relationship that could hurt Kris if they became public.

Sources connected with Kris say ... Myla threatened that if she didn't get money she would "ruin" Kris. We're told the two sides could not reach an agreement, and that's when Kris' people decided to take it to the FBI.

Our Kris sources would not say whether the alleged extortion was in person, over the phone, via email or text, but we're told it is in some electronic form that would give the FBI jurisdiction to investigate the extortion allegation.

NFL legend Troy Aikman is making good on his post-divorce promises -- ponying up $1.75 million to his ex-wife as part of their split agreement.

TMZ broke the story ... Aikman and his ex-wife Rhonda quietly divorced in April last year after ten years of marriage.

Now, Troy's tying up several post-divorce loose ends -- according to new legal docs, he paid his wife $1.75 million to fulfill his end of their marital property agreement.

Offensive lineman for the New York Giants David Diehl was busted last night on suspicion of drunk driving.

According to the NY Daily News, police arrested the football star at approximately 8:45 PM on Sunday in Queens after Diehl crashed his vehicle into a number of parked cars.

He was taken to a testing facility where, according to the D.A., his blood alcohol level registered at .182, which is over twice the legal limit. The legal limit in NY is .08.

Police sources tell TMZ Diehl was drinking at The Scorpio Cafe & Bar watching the Croatia-Ireland soccer game before his arrest.

It's a win-win situation for NBA star Gilbert Arenas -- a judge has granted his request to officially drop his lawsuit over his fiancée's role on "Basketball Wives" ... but gave him the option to bring it back whenever he likes.

If you recall, Arenas sued Shed Media last year in order to stop "BB Wives" from airing ... all because he felt his baby mama, Laura Govan, had no right to exploit his name on reality TV. When a court shot down his request to axe the show ... he continued to sue for cold, hard cash.

But after the former exes got engaged, Arenas changed his tune and asked for the suit to be dismissed, but only if he could still pick it back up -- a condition the the show vehemently begged a court not to allow.

Earlier this week, the court sided with Arenas ... dismissing the case like he asked and made it possible to bring back any time he wants (ya know if the whole marriage thing doesn't work out) ... and all Arenas has to do is cover the show's attorney fees to the tune of $32,618.

Kris Humphries was once again spotted on the beach in Miami with a mystery girl ... but TMZ has already cracked the mystery.

The girl is Kris' nutritionist, Tracy Paradise, and we're told there is absolutely nothing romantic between the two. Our sources say she works Kris out when his other trainers are not available (not like that, you pervs) and sometimes serves as his assistant.

Manny Pacquiao lost a VERY controversial split decision last night to Timothy Bradley, setting the stage for a rematch ... that seemingly was already in the works! Something smells fishy ...

The internet set on fire last night when Pacquiao was declared the loser ... even though anyone with two eyes (or even one) could see he won the fight easily.

Our good friends over at TheBigLead.com point out ... Bradley tweeted a photo of a poster for the rematch back on May 29. Most experts agree that a decisive Manny victory would have meant no rematch.

So we gotta ask ...
