Tim Tebow might have God on his side ... but he won't have the backing of some religious leaders in New England when the bible totin' QB takes on the Patriots in Foxboro Saturday.

TMZ spoke with a couple of holy men who are not only backing Tom Brady ... they're throwing jabs at Tebow's Broncos. Reverend Stephen Ayers from the Old North Church in Boston says, "I'm not sure God is a huge football fan but Tim Tebow is more than welcome to come worship with us on Sunday morning ... after hopefully losing to us."

Meanwhile, Reverend Amy Alletzhauser from Calvary United Methodist Church in Rhode Island tells us they'll be selling a Tebow sub sandwich at a church fundraiser this weekend. The catch? Rev Amy says it's a veggie sub "without meat, guts, or glory." Boom, God smack!

Tebow does have one brave soul backing him in the land of chowda heads -- Pastor Joseph Coppola went on TMZ Live today to explain why he's still praying for Tebow.

St. Louis Rams rookie Robert Quinn was LOOKIN' SHARP after he was picked 14th overall at the 2011 NFL Draft ... but now the guy who allegedly hooked up his fancy threads is suing ... TMZ has learned.

No, we're not talking about Quinn's tailor ... the dude with the beef is an agent who claims he repped Quinn during the draft ... but was kicked to the curb right before Quinn signed his MASSIVE $9.4 million contract.

According to a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ ... Carl Carey claims he signed a deal with Quinn when the former University of North Carolina defensive end decided to turn pro.

Carey claims Quinn was viewed by NFL teams as a guy with some serious "character flaws and health concerns" ... until Carey reconstructed his image.

In the lawsuit, filed in federal court in North Carolina, Carey claims he did EVERYTHING for Quinn ... including party-planning, media training, and even "arranging for tailor-made suits."

Quinn also claims he negotiated deals with Nike and trading card companies.

But just before Quinn signed his contract ... (months after the draft) ... Carey claims he was fired ... and has not received the 3% cut he was contractually obligated to receive.

Fresh from vacationing with George Clooney, Stacy Keibler and Cindy Crawford in Mexico, Alex Rodriguez and his new girlfriend/wrestling diva Torrie Wilson continued soaking up the sun and showing off their lean, ripped physiques at his house in Miami this weekend.

Pilar Sanders wants everyone to know she's NOT an adulterous floozie who cheated on Deion ... and now she wants to take a lie detector test to prove it.

Pilar is still fuming about the allegations Deion's daughter Deiondra made about her during an epic Twitter rant last month ... in which she claimed Pilar was a "gold digging h*e" who cheated on the NFL legend.

Now, Pilar's attorney, Larry Friedman, tells TMZ ... "It is extremely unfortunate that, in addition to the mental distress caused by the unexpected and untimely filing of the divorce by Deion Sanders, he has not stopped his daughter Deiondra from falsely accusing my client, Pilar Sanders, of infidelity in order to cause her more pain and suffering and further damage her character and reputation."

Friedman adds, "This matter doesn't require praying for Pilar as Deion has stated; it calls for telling the 'truth' -- as well as a retraction of the false accusations made about Pilar and a public apology."

"Perhaps it's time for the parties to submit to and release the results of a polygraph examination to determine whether infidelity was committed during the marriage and to put an end to the speculation once and for all."

Elin Nordegren is SO rich -- she's basically building a replica of the multimillion dollar estate she knocked down.

TMZ has obtained renderings Elin submitted to the Palm Beach County Dept. of Planning, Zoning & Building. The exterior elevation drawing is verrrry similar to the house that was on the $12 million property before Elin razed it. Both are traditional/colonial homes with a very similar shape. The drawing looks similar to the 9,000 square foot house that was demolished.

Elin's builder told PEOPLE the house Elin 86'd was 90 years old, didn't meet code provisions to withstand hurricanes, and was infested with termites.

Of course, the house Elin builds will be brand spanking new. The supporting documents describe the house in detail.

County officials have sent the architect back to the drawing board for some changes before the plans will be approved.

Chad Ochocinco has saved his relationship with Evelyn Lozada the old fashioned way ... with a lot of groveling ... and the wedding is back on, this according to sources close to the couple.

As TMZ first reported, Lozada put their wedding plans on hold after she suspected Ocho was stepping out on her.

But according to our sources, Ocho broke down this week and apologized. We're told Ocho said he would do whatever it took to win her back and suggested the two go to couple's counseling.

Our sources say Evelyn agreed and they will seek help to work out their trust issues.

Through a rep, Evelyn tells TMZ, "The strain from both our busy schedules started to take a serious toll on our relationship. Yet after spending some much needed quality time together, Chad and I are in a good space."

Chris Bosh isn't just battling opposing players on the court every night for the Miami Heat -- he's battling his baby mama in court as well ... because he believes she's trying to keep him from seeing his daughter.

According to court docs filed in Bosh's custody case in Maryland, Bosh's baby mama, Allison Mathis, has refused to speak to Bosh directly since April 2011 -- instead communicating only through lawyers.

Bosh alleges Mathis has repeatedly either ignored his requests to see 3-year-old Trinity or only allowed him to see her for fewer days than their custody arrangement dictates.

Bosh filed docs a few months ago to have Mathis held in contempt and a court date had been set for July 12. But Bosh recently requested to have that date moved up because he says it conflicts with training camp for the U.S. Olympics team. A judge has yet to rule.

Bosh and Mathis battled over Trinity last June, when Bosh tried to get Mathis to allow their daughter to come see him play in the NBA Finals. Bosh didn't get extra time like he wanted, but the series lasted long enough for Trinity to see him play during one of her regularly-scheduled visits.

The Denver Broncos just won a miraculous overtime playoff game over the Pittsburgh Steelers by the score of 29-23 ... on an 80-yard touchdown pass by Tim Tebow.

On the day, Tebow threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 50 yards and another touchdown. Tebow had never topped 300 yards passing before today.

Tebow and the Broncos will next travel to Foxboro Stadium to play the other Golden Boy ... Tom Brady and the top-seeded New England Patriots.

Retired NBA superstar Jamal Mashburn has been accused of causing a nasty car accident that left two people badly injured ... but Mash says the other driver shouldn't have been DRIVING WHILE USING A CELL PHONE!!!

The ESPN commentator has been sued in Florida over an accident that occurred back in February ... and one of the alleged victims claims she was physically scarred and disfigured as a result.

But Mashburn is fighting back -- and in court docs obtained by TMZ, he denies responsibility and points the finger at his accusers ... who he says were NOT following common safety rules of the road.

In the docs, Mashburn claims both people were NOT wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash ... and alleges the driver was using a cell phone.

Mashburn also claims the alleged victims are LYING about the extent of their injuries ... insisting they were not permanently injured, scarred or disfigured.

Floyd Mayweather is NOT properly licensed to fight in Nevada on May 5 ... despite having the judge's blessing ... and TMZ has learned state officials are demanding to speak with Floyd in person before they will allow him to fight.

TMZ spoke with Keith Kizer -- Executive Director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission -- who tells us all fighters must apply for a license annually ... but fighters with a conviction are sometimes required to plead their case to the commission in person.

Floyd was convicted of beating his baby mama last month ... and Friday, he convinced the judge to delay his jail sentence so he could fight an unnamed opponent at the MGM Grand on May 5.

The next step is to apply for the license, but Kizer tells us it's not uncommon for a fighter to begin the process just a few weeks before their first bout of the year. We're told Floyd has been flagged for a face-to-face ... if and when he applies.

"The commission looks at experience, integrity, character and skill to determine whether or not it's appropriate to issue a license," Kizer says.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. won't have to turn himself in to a Las Vegas jail until June 1, 2012 ... so he can fight in Las Vegas on May 5th ... the judge just ruled.

Floyd was supposed to turn himself in today to begin his 90-day sentence for beating up his baby mama -- but his attorney had asked the judge to postpone the boxer's turn-in date to June 1 ... to give Floyd time to train for a massive fight on May 5th against an undetermined opponent at the MGM Grand.

His attorney's justification ... Floyd's a pro who brings in hundreds of millions in profits for the city of Las Vegas -- and hey, thing's get rescheduled all the time ... no bigs.

Several of Floyd's famous friends came to court to support the boxer -- including Ray J and Lil Kim.

12:13 PM PT: Ray J and Lil Kim are real pals -- telling TMZ on their way out of court, they showed up for Floyd as an act of solidarity.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are getting a hero's welcome in Dallas this month -- thanks to Lamar's new teammate Shawn Marion, who's throwing a blowout welcome dinner at his insane mansion ... including fried lobster, absinthe cocktails, and Kobe beef.

TMZ has obtained the invitation to the dinner -- scheduled for January 26th at Marion's 12,600 square foot Dallas palace ... to welcome Lamar, Delonte West, and Vince Carter to the Mavericks.

According to sources, the entire Mavericks team will be present ... along with some other select VIPs -- and the entire affair will be catered by a chef from a local fancy steakhouse.

We're told the menu is inspired by Khloe and Lamar -- and will include items from the couple's wedding menu ... like Wagyu beef sliders and champagne with floating Gardenia petals.

Elin Nordegren is a human wrecking machine ... who just LEVELED her brand new $12 MILLION Florida mansion ... because, well, she can afford it.

Elin bought the 9,000 square foot North Palm Beach home in March ... right after she struck a $100 million divorce settlement with Tiger Woods.

Despite the demise of her marriage to Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian hasn't lost her affinity for the NBA and helped little sis Khloe cheer on Lamar Odom at the Mavericks game in Dallas last night.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown ran off with his child and is refusing to give the kid back to his mother ... so says Antonio's baby mama -- but the NFL player claims she's flat out LYING in a soulless scheme to make a quick buck.

Shameika Brailsford filed docs in Miami, claiming Antonio has had custody of their 4-year-old son in Pennsylvania for months, while he plays with the Steelers -- and she's worried to death he's not being taken care of.

Shameika says 23-year-old Antonio took the child -- also named Antonio -- without her permission, and she hasn't had contact with the kid since Antonio took him away.

Now, Shameika's asking the court for an emergency child pick-up order -- which would require law enforcement to pick up her child and bring him back to her in Florida ... asap.

But Antonio's lawyer Jason Marks says Shameika is lying through her teeth -- telling us, "None of that is true. The mother consented to the child living with Mr. Brown back in February."

The lawyer adds, "The mother obviously knew where the child was the entire time and, in fact, Mr. Brown recently arranged for the mother to visit with the child in Pittsburgh. This is nothing more than a classic attempt to shake down a professional athlete for money."
