Deion Sanders Divorce Will Cost Him A GIANT HOUSE
Deion Sanders is going to wish he lived in a one-bedroom apartment in a bad part of town -- because TMZ has learned a provision in his prenup states the bigger the home he lives in ... the more he has to fork over to his soon-to-be ex-wife Pilar.
As TMZ first reported, Deion and Pilar are ending their marriage after 12 years. According to our sources, the papers will be filed soon.
Sources close to the couple tell us Deion had agreed to buy Pilar a house when they split ... equal to half the value of whatever their current home is. Well nowadays they live in Prosper, TX -- in a home that's almost 30,000 square feet, with 10 bedrooms, 9 full baths (and 4 half baths) ... and a listing price of $21 million.
We're told Pilar has been house hunting since Thanksgiving, looking for a home in the $9-12 million range.
Love hurts.

TMZ spoke with Stephen Laine -- an inventory manager for a food company who was married to Vanessa's mother from 1990 to 2003 ... and helped raise Vanessa from a child into adulthood.
Laine tells us, "Her mother taught her well to wait for the ten-year mark [before divorcing]."
He explains, "In California ... it's considered a long term marriage and then she gets paid for life or until she remarries ... just like her mother is doing to me."
Laine continues, "I have to pay her mom $1,800 every month and clearly they don’t need it."
Sources close to Vanessa tell us ... Kobe's soon-to-be ex-mother-in-law is currently living in one of the BBaller's mansions ... and we're told Vanessa is very good to her.

Kobe Bryant Busted by Basketball Wives
A secret underground society of trained spies is responsible for feeding intel to Vanessa Bryant that eventually led to her filing for divorce from hubby Kobe Bryant -- not the CIA or FBI ... but the basketball wives of the NBA.
Our sources says Kobe's teammates were blabbing to their women about the superstar's exploits ... and those women in turn gave Vanessa the heads up. We're told talk of Kobe's exploits lately increased in frequency.
According to our sources, the players often swear their wives to secrecy before dishing on their fellow ballers ... but that secrecy is rarely kept. We're told the women all share information about other guys around the league ... in part to ensure word will get back to them if their man ever steps out.

It's also unclear if the Milwaukee Brewers star knew the substances were in his medication before he took it -- though it seems highly unlikely.

L.A. Dodgers Star The Maserati-Smashing 911 Call He 'Tried to Flee the Scene'
TMZ has obtained the 911 call placed moments after L.A. Dodgers first baseman James Loney crashed his Maserati into multiple cars last month -- and according to the caller, Loney tried to flee the scene.
When asked how many cars were involved -- the caller responds, "Possibly up to seven" ... though police claim the accident only involved four, including Loney's Mas.
The caller claims Loney had "passed out" moments before the accident ... and that's what caused the initial collision. According to the caller, Loney then woke up and attempted to "flee the scene," accidentally crashing into another car. Thankfully, no one appeared injured.
As we first reported, cops believe Loney was drugged up during the November 14th accident -- so they handcuffed him and transported him to a nearby hospital where the baseball star allegedly refused a breathalyzer ... spitting the mouthpiece back at cops.
Cops say they obtained a blood sample to test for drugs -- but it came back negative.
Attempts to reach Loney for comment were unsuccessful.

Kobe Bryant Not as Rich as You Think
TMZ has learned ... contrary to news reports about Kobe Bryant's wealth -- the BBaller's net worth is approximately $150 million, according to sources in a direct position to know.
Sources intimately familiar with the situation tell us ... the $150 mil accounts for real estate holdings, stock, cash and other assets.
The figure is far less than news reports which set Kobe's fortune north of $400 million. But the $150 mil figure is the accurate one.
TMZ broke the divorce story and the fact that Kobe and Vanessa DO NOT HAVE A PRENUP. Given that the marriage has lasted more than a decade and the pre-marriage assets are commingled with what was accumulated during the marriage, the assets are distributed based on the community property laws of California -- which means a 50/50 split.
Kobe and Vanessa have already struck a financial settlement, but she was in a good position to get half of the pie.
