Manny Ramirez Righting a Wrong ... On His Marriage Certificate
Before Manny Ramirez allegedly slapped his wife in the face, Manny was taking the time out to correct something on his marriage certificate ... his middle name.
According to docs filed in Broward County in August, Manny requested to change his name on his marriage certificate -- from Manuel Fernando Ramirez to Manuel A. Ramirez. According to Wikipedia, the A stands for ArÃstides.
The initial filing was done just a few weeks before Manny was arrested for domestic violence. A hearing on the change has now been scheduled for next week.
It leaves one to wonder ... once the marriage certificate is in order, might his wife follow up with divorce papers?

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak somehow thinks her wedding could rival Kim Kardashian's -- because she just mailed out the most paranoid wedding invitations ever ... BANNING guests from bringing cameras to the ceremony.
TMZ obtained a copy of the invite -- which expressly prohibits the use of cell phones, cameras, or other recording devices while she ties the knot with Atlanta Falcons defensive end Kroy Biermann next month.
Kim even warns guests ... they'll have to sign a release if they want to attend the wedding -- because the entire event will be filmed as part of her new spin-off show (yet to be confirmed by Bravo).
According to the invite, the wedding takes place on 11/11/11. Advice to wedding guests: go see "Immortals" instead.

Muhammad Ali is ready for another big fight ... because he's suing a married couple that sold him a home that even Ty Pennington couldn't fix.
Ali and his wife, Yolanda, claim they bought the Louisville mansion back in 2006, and almost immediately discovered an array of ghastly problems, including a leaky roof, leaky chimney, mold, and structurally defective decking.
Ali and Yolanda say the unkindest cut of all is that the sellers knew the problems existed and then set out to deceive the greatest fighter of all time.
Ali and Yolanda are suing for unspecified damages.

Former Boston Red Sox stud Johnny Damon says his former teammate Jonathan Papelbon earned himself the right to party in New Orleans last weekend ... despite the fact the Sox had just skidded their way out of the playoffs.
Damon -- who played for Tampa Bay last season -- was leaving Boa in Hollywood last night ... when we asked about the photos of the Red Sox closer firing off beads on Bourbon street.
Damon replied, "[losing is] never easy and Jonathan Papelbon has had a great career so far ... so he can do whatever he wants."
He added, "I'm glad he's enjoying himself, I wish he was on my team."

Ex-WWE Star Arrested Allegedly Shooting Up in a Chili's Bathroom
A former WWE wrestler was arrested in Florida yesterday after cops say he was injecting himself with stolen pain medicine ... while hiding inside the bathroom of a local Chili's restaurant.
Tyson Tomko -- who wrestled in the WWE between 2002 and 2009 -- is accused of robbing a CVS Pharmacy on October 10th ... allegedly threatening to attack the pharmacist unless he forked over several bottles of Oxycodone.
The pharmacist claims he complied -- and Tomko escaped with 210 tablets of the powerful painkiller.
According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Tomko went to a nearby Chili's ... where he asked his waitress for a spoon. When the server brought him a teaspoon, he asked for a "deeper spoon" ... and when he got it, he took it to the men's room ... where he remained for 30 to 40 minutes.
Cops were eventually tipped off ... and when they arrived on the scene, one officer says Tomko had "needle marks and blood running down his arm" ... and had just flushed something down the toilet.
Tomko was taken into custody -- and allegedly told police he has a "severe drug problem."
Cops say Tomko admitted he took the Oxycodone from CVS ... and injected 178 pills, which he crushed up and melted down ... but he swore he never threatened the pharmacist.
Tomko was taken to a nearby hospital ... then transported to a nearby jail, where he was booked for robbery. He's currently behind bars -- bond was set at $7,500.

Dodger Beating Victim Out of Hospital, Into Rehab
San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow has finally been released from the hospital -- more than 6 months after he was beaten within an inch of his life in the Dodgers Stadium parking lot.
Stow has been making tremendous progress in his recovery -- recently talking with family members and friends.
Doctors say Stow will continue his treatment at an undisclosed long-term rehabilitation facility. Stow's doctor says his recovery will take years.
The 42-year-old paramedic's family released a statement -- saying, "We feel immense relief today, knowing that Bryan is ready to start the next chapter of his story."
Stow suffered severe brain injuries on March 31 after the Dodger's regular season opener against the Giants.
Two suspects have been charged in the beating -- both have plead not guilty.

Kris Humphries can thank a fellow traveler (above) for finding his ring at a TSA checkpoint in Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on Friday.
Sources close to Kris tell us the drama started when he had to take off his Lorraine Schwartz designed ring to go through the metal detector. We're told Kris accidentally dropped the ring while putting it back on -- but luckily the guy behind Kris recognized him as "Kim's husband."
The good samaritan -- and "Keeping up With the Kardashians" fan -- tells TMZ he got down on his hands and knees, searched for the ring, found it ... and returned it to Kris.
Kris posed for a thank-you-for-saving-my-bacon photo with the guy, and went on his way -- happy to avoid the wrath of Kim, no doubt.

Brock Lesnar Signs New Deal with WWE
After SEVEN YEARS apart, UFC pain machine Brock Lesnar is getting back into business with the company that put him on the map -- WWE -- in a deal that will make him the "featured star" in a brand new video game.
Multiple sources confirm ...the people developing "WWE: 12" approached Brock back in January and asked for permission to use his name and likeness in the game and the advertising campaign.
We're told Brock loved the idea -- but wouldn't sign off unless his current boss, UFC honcho Dana White, gave his blessing. Fortunately, it worked out.
TMZ spoke with White, who told us, "I love WWE and I have nothing but love for Vince McMahon -- I'm totally OK with Brock being in the game."
We're told the first commercial for the game -- starring Brock -- will be released tomorrow.

Terrell Owens 911: Called for Possible Pill Overdose
Emergency officials were responding to a call about a possible prescription pill overdose when they were dispatched to the L.A. apartment where Terrell Owens was staying last week ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
As we first reported, Owens was transported by ambulance to an L.A. hospital Thursday night. Cops were also dispatched to investigate -- and spoke with T.O. at the hospital.
Owens has since been released.
A rep for Owens had no comment on the matter.
T.O. was famously hospitalized back in 2006 -- when he insisted he had a bad reaction to painkillers ... despite reports that he tried to commit suicide by inhaling 35 Vicodin pills.
T.O. later held a news conference on the matter and stated, "The rumor of me taking 35 pills, I think is absurd. I don't think I would be here if I had taken 35 pills."
