Law enforcement sources tell us ... Raheem Brock -- the starting defensive end for Seattle -- was arrested in Philadelphia when someone inside the Copacabana called 911 complaining the 6'4", 275-pounder left the establishment without paying his bill.

Cops responded to the scene, located Brock, and arrested him on suspicion of theft of services and resisting arrest -- both misdemeanors. We're told Brock did not get physical with the cops, but was "non-compliant" with the arresting officers.

Raheem -- who recently signed a 5-year, $23.6 MILLION contract -- was taken to a nearby jail where he was booked.

Calls to the club and Raheem have not been returned.

McCourts Will Sell Los Angeles Dodgers if Jamie Wins

Published | Updated

Frank and Jamie McCourt just settled part of their divorce property dispute, but the headline ... if the judge decides in August that Jamie has a piece of the team, the Dodgers will be sold.

Lawyers for Jamie and Frank said ... if Judge Scott Gordon rules on August 4 that the Dodgers are community property -- giving Jamie a 50% interest -- the team will be put up for sale.

Once sold, each will get 50% of the net proceeds.

If Judge Gordon rules the team is Frank's separate property, he keeps the team but he has to pay Jamie $100 million.

And, if Frank keeps the team, Jamie gets all the mansions except one -- Frank gets to keep the Montana Yellowstone property.

But there's a hitch. The whole settlement is predicated on the Fox deal going through -- which would give the Dodgers a $385 million advance on the $3 billion broadcast deal to cover the teams bills, including payroll.

Canucks Fan Takes Flash Grenade TO THE CROTCH

Sometimes rioting can blow up in your face ... or in the case of this Vancouver Canucks fan ... it can blow up in your junk instead.

Being a Canadian, I am embarassed and shocked by the actions of the young people that have shamed our country with their behavior. I think there would have still been the same outcome if Vancouver had won, I hope the police throw the book a these hoologans when caught! BTW, Congrats to Boston, game well played!

Jennifer Chow

I’m sure I can speak on behalf of many Vancouverites. This is truly an embarrassing moment in Vancouver the World has to witness.Unfortunately it was a large group of young men & women who had intentions of doing this no matter what the outcome of the game was. Can you imagine the horror for the parents who witnessed their child on the news behaving in this manner? Teach them a lesson and call the police because you're doing them a favor.

Lends new meaning to the term, "Firecrotch."

Gay Rights Org. Calls Malarkey on 'Anarchy' Claim

Published | Updated

A powerful gay rights organization claims Super Bowl hero David Tyree is wrong -- legalizing gay marriage will NOT send our country into a state of "anarchy" ... and there's proof all over the world.

A rep for the Human Rights Campaign tells TMZ ... "Anarchy? Hardly. Committed gay and lesbian couples have been able to legally marry in five states and the District of Columbia — not to mention a number of foreign countries — for years now and cows are still giving milk, little boys are still pulling little girls’ pig tails, and we still drive on the right side of the street."

The rep adds, "New York’s passage of this law will result in nothing more than a more just and equitable society."

Jarret Barrios -- President of the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation -- ain't holding back either, telling us, "Tyree’s statements are as misleading as they are ridiculous, and do not accurately reflect the growing acceptance that we're seeing from sports stars like Charles Barkley, Steve Nash, Sean Avery, Brendon Ayanbadejo, Scott Fujita and fellow former Giant Michael Strahan."

As TMZ previously reported ... the former NY Giants star took a very hard line against gay marriage during an interview yesterday with a faith-based organization called the National Organization for Marriage.

Super Bowl Hero: Gay Marriage Will Lead to 'Anarchy'

Published | Updated

Ex-NY Giants receiver David Tyree -- who made the LEGENDARY helmet catch in Super Bowl XLII -- is coming out against gay marriage HARD ... claiming it's the first step on the road to "ANARCHY."

Tyree made the statements during an interview earlier today with the National Organization for Marriage -- a faith-based anti-gay marriage group.

During the interview, Tyree is asked about the push to legalize gay marriage in the United States -- and says if it happens, "This will be the beginning of our country sliding toward ... it's a strong word, but anarchy."

To reinforce his point, Tyree says, "You can't teach something that you don't have ... so two men will never be able to show a woman how to be a woman."

And the kicker, Tyree -- who's black -- says, "How can marriage be marriage for thousands of years and now all the sudden because a minority, an influential minority, has a push or agenda ... and totally reshapes something that was not founded in our country."

FYI -- Tyree's statement comes almost 44 years to the day after interracial marriage was legalized in the United States ... thanks, in part, to the agenda of an influential minority.

Whocaires

David Tyree is 100% RIGHT. Do we vilify a gay man for saying a heterosexual lifestyle is wrong? Of course not - that would be bigotry. We can NO LONGER speak up in this country, or disagree with someone or something without immediately being called a bigot or racist. Our country is falling apart - and we're wondering why. Look around us. Anything goes now, and it coincides with the social agendas being forced down our throats.

lalalalauren

Classy. I am so glad he is staying true to his minority roots. Oh wait...

Ed

Now he will get slammed for saying something he believes in. I applaud him for taking a stand against immorality.
