Cars were flipped and burned, windows smashed and stores were looted by drunk/angry hockey fans as police armed with pepper spray, tear gas and flash-bang grenades rushed to break it up.

Law enforcement sources tell us, police received a call about some drunk guy wandering around an apartment comlpex in Irving, TX last night -- and when cops showed up, they found Stevenson ... who said he was lost.

Stevenson -- who does not live in the apartment complex -- then flunked a field sobriety test ... and was arrested for public intoxication.

Cops in Gwinnett County responded to the apartment Sunday night ... after Owens' ex-GF, LaTia Terry, claimed the NFL player entered the pad when she and their 9-month-old kid were out of the home ... and trashed the place. Sources connected to the incident tell us the two had a heated argument over their custody arrangement the night before.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, LaTia says 24-year-old Owens -- a 3rd round pick in the 2009 draft -- smashed holes in the wall, destroyed expensive electronics and even broke the baby's crib.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Ladell Rowles -- a member of the Main Street Mafia Crip Gang in L.A. who is friends with Shaq -- along with 6 other members went on a search and destroy mission in L.A. on February 11, 2008. They believed a man named Robert Ross had the sex tape and they tried getting it back with the help of a gun or two.

According to the police report, the 7 gang members met up with Ross at a convenience store -- Pink Dot -- on the Sunset Strip. The men allegedly surrounded Ross' Rolls Royce Phantom with guns drawn, jumped into Ross' car and ordered him to drive to Rowles' house in South Central L.A.

According to local reports, Montana was not seriously injured -- but the damage to his eye will keep him from appearing in front of the Santa Clara City Council tonight.

Nash posed for the mug shot after he was arrested on suspicion of battery last month -- a charge that was later dismissed for lack of evidence.

Nash -- who claims he's a solid 7 feet tall -- was recently arrested on suspicion of battery in Florida ... after he stopped a drunk dude from getting too close to his wife at a local restaurant.

Big Sexy admits things did get physical with the other man -- but Nash insists he only acted in self-defense because the drunk guy came at him with a beer bottle.

Big Ben and the boys took a much needed break from doing nothing on Saturday -- and stopped by the Schlitterbahn Waterpark in New Braunfels.

A rep for the park tells TMZ, the guys hit some of the biggest rides -- including the Boogie Bahn Surf Ride, the Dragon's Revenge uphill water coaster, the Down Hill Racer and the Hill Side Tube Chute.

As TMZ first reported, Bosh filed an emergency motion with a Maryland judge to try and modify his custody arrangement so that his two-year-old girl Trinity could see him play in his first NBA Finals.

Sources close to Kim K tell TMZ ... her lawyers are drafting a defamation lawsuit against Lockett and will file it as early as Monday morning.

Kim has maintained all along she never met Bret -- despite his claims they had a "physical relationship." Harvey hammered Lockett on TMZ Live last week, asking him when and where he met Kim, but Lockett refused to say. Nevertheless, he insisted he and Kim had hooked up this year, after she started dating Kris Humphries.

But on Friday, Lockett finally fessed up on "Showbiz Tonight" ... admitting he never actually met Kim.

We're told Kim's lawyers fired off a letter to Lockett in the last few days, telling him to hang on to the so-called "evidence" he has on his "affair" with Kim -- because he'll need to produce it in court.

What a jerk.
