Ex-WWE Star Investigated for DUI After Bloody Crash

Former WWE superstar Shane Helms -- aka "The Hurricane" -- is at the center of a drunk driving investigation after a BRUTAL motorcycle crash on Thursday that left him and his girlfriend broken and battered.

According to the police report obtained by TMZ ... a witness told cops Helms was driving home from a restaurant in Smithfield, North Carolina around 9:15 PM -- with his GF on the bike -- when he blew through a stop sign, lost control and "drove straight through the metal chain link fence."

Cops say one of the witnesses told officers he was hanging out with Helms at a local restaurant minutes before the crash and said he "was sure" Helms had been drinking there.

Helms and his GF were transported to a local hospital where they were treated for multiple broken bones and other injuries.

Law enforcement sources tell us officers took a blood sample from Helms at the hospital to check his blood alcohol level at the time of the crash ... but it could take several months to get the results back.

So far, we're told an investigation is underway ... but no charges have been filed against Helms.

Shaunie O'Neal must think she's in the NBA Playoffs ... 'cause she just took Miami Heat star Chris Bosh to the hole ... slamming him for filing a lawsuit against her.

Shaquille O'Neal's ex-wife was at LAX when she blasted Bosh -- claiming he "must like wasting money on attorneys." The Heat power forward recently sued Shaunie over her reality show "Basketball Wives."

Shaunie executive produces the show -- and Bosh is trying to block his baby mama, Allison Mathis, from joining the cast.

Shaunie claims Allison was never going to be on the show, but sources close to the production tell us Allison was only cut after Bosh unleashed his legal pit bulls.

Hines Ward -- I Thought I Was Being Punk'd!

Hines Ward isn't upset with the LAPD for mistaking him for a car thief -- in fact, he thought the whole thing was a joke when it was going down!

As TMZ first reported, Hines had a run-in with cops early Thursday morning after a mix-up with a car being reported stolen. Hines released a statement after the incident saying things were all good -- and when we spotted him out last night with "Dancing" partner Kym Johnson, he told our guy, "I actually thought I was on 'Punk'd' ... Something about guns pointed at me wasn't very fun."

David Beckham in Car Accident on LA Freeway

David Beckham was involved in a car accident on one of the busiest freeways in all of Los Angeles ... and the driver of the other car had to be taken to a local hospital ... TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement sources, Beckham was driving a black Cadillac on the 405 Freeway near Torrance, CA yesterday morning ... when he rear-ended a gold Mitsubishi that was broken down in the carpool lane.

We're told the driver of the Mistubishi, who was inside the car and wearing his seatbelt at the time, had to be taken to the hospital -- but Beckham did not require medical attention.

Law enforcement sources tell us Beckham was not arrested or cited on the scene.

A call to Beckham's rep was not returned.

UPDATE: Sources close to Beckham tell us his son Brooklyn was in the car at the time of the accident, but that he and David were both not injured.

Manny Pacquiao Injured in Car Accident

Manny Pacquiao was just involved in a car accident in Las Vegas ... TMZ has learned ... but we're told he's going to be alright for his big fight tonight.

Sources close to Pacquiao tell TMZ he was traveling in a fleet of cars after church today, when one of Manny's security vehicles collided with the car carrying Manny.

We're told Pacquiao is back at his hotel now, where his trainer, Freddie Roach, checked him out. According to our source, Pacquiao is just a little shaken up ... but he's okay to go for tonight.

Hines Ward 'Cuffed At Gunpoint The VIDEO

TMZ has obtained surveillance footage showing NFL superstar Hines Ward being taken into police custody around 1:30 AM Thursday morning ... while police had their GUNS DRAWN.

The video clearly shows the female driver of a Honda Civic pulling into a gas station in Studio City, CA followed by a police car. The woman emerges from the vehicle and complies with the cops ...laying face first on the ground as officers ordered Ward out of the car.

Ward -- who was described as "cooperative" -- kept his hands in the air during the incident and followed orders until cops placed him in handcuffs.

After Hines was taken into custody, two cops approached the passenger side of the car with their guns drawn and took a closer look inside the vehicle. But they both quickly holstered their weapons once they realized nobody else was inside.

TMZ broke the story ... cops pulled the car over because it had recently been reported stolen. But it was all a mistake and Hines and the driver were released after cops discovered the stolen vehicle report was way outdated.

Hines eventually released a statement saying, "The police were just doing their job. Apologies were made, and it's now in the past. Moving forward."

James Graham -- who rode Daisy Devine to a fourth place finish in the Kentucky Oaks event on Friday -- hopped up on the bar at the PRIME lounge in Louisville on Wednesday ... and blew off his top at a fundraiser for the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.

The hairy chested stud, along with the J. Wagner Group, got the patrons to pony up over $3,000 in just three hours.

Manny Pacquiao Has Big Beef After Weigh-In

Manny -- who is scheduled to beat Sugar Shane Mosley tomorrow in Las Vegas -- weighed in at 145 lbs ... 2 lbs under the welterweight limit.

Immediately after getting off the scale, Manny followed his tradition and ate a big meal prepared by his long-time personal chef.

And what, you ask, does a champ eat -- grilled beef, boiled chicken, rice, fruit and Filipino chicken broth soup.

Here's how the math breaks down -- according to a sales rep for the Derby, 7 companies paid $450,000 each for a spot in the swanky Trackside Village on Turn One ... where toilet experts posted up 2 VIP restroom trailers. That's $3.15 million total for all the companies.

Trackside Village's capacity is capped at 175 people -- and $3,150,000 divided by 175 equals $18,000 a person.

Sure, that figure also includes catering and drinks ... but let's not kid ourselves ... the toilets are obviously the main attraction.

Mayweather Accused of Threatening Guards with Guns

Floyd Mayweather Jr. was just charged with misdemeanor harassment in Vegas -- after the boxer allegedly threatened to have two security guards shot ... for ticketing his cars on the street.

According to the criminal complaint, it all happened back in October -- before Mayweather's face-poking incident -- two security guards cited a couple of Mayweather's cars parked outside his 12,000-foot mansion ... and Floyd flipped.

Mayweather allegedly threatened the guards -- who patrol the boxer's upscale housing community -- after he noticed the citations, claiming, "My homies have guns. If you want me to call them, they'd come over here and take care of you."

According to the complaint, Floyd added, "These are my f**king cars. Don't touch my f**king cars."

Calls to Mayweather's camp weren't returned.

NFL Star Hines Ward -- Handcuffed at GUNPOINT

Pittsburgh Steelers superstar Hines Ward was removed from a vehicle at gunpoint by LAPD officers and placed in handcuffs this morning in L.A. -- but he was NOT arrested ... TMZ has learned.

The "Dancing with the Stars" contestant was a passenger in a Honda Civic around 2 AM ... when LAPD officers flipped on their lights and sirens and pulled the car over.

Law enforcement sources tell us cops had run the license plate and noticed the car had been reported stolen. We're told police drew their weapons ... and ordered both Hines and the female driver out of the car and placed them both in handcuffs.

The female driver then explained ... SHE was the person who reported the car stolen in the first place after an incident involving a valet. But she got her car back ... and forgot to tell cops to call off the alert.

We're told the officers verified her story -- and eventually let both Hines and the driver leave without further incident. Law enforcement sources tell us Hines was VERY cooperative and understanding about the situation.

Charlie Sheen -- Chicks Dig The Long Ball

Charlie Sheen strapped on his cleats last week ... stepped into the batter's box at a college baseball field ... and blasted a home run off of a former major league player ... and TMZ has the footage.

Sheen was hanging out in Denver, CO on Friday when he felt like taking some batting practice ... so he bought five cases of baseballs and headed over to All City Field where a local club team was holding practice.

Sheen -- who was with former Major League stud Todd Zeile -- asked the players if he could take a few cuts ... and they were more than happy to let him play ball.

With Zeile on the mound ... Sheen ripped one over the right field fence ... 360 feet deep!!!!

After the hitting session, we're told Sheen took a bunch of photos with the players ... and donated all of the baseballs to the team.

Chyna Risky Business with TNA Wrestling

Wrestling legend Chyna is going out on a limb with TNA -- because we're told, she still hasn't signed a contract to make her return to wrestling official ... and is currently just working on a good faith deal.

Chyna made her TNA debut Tuesday night during a taping sesh for the wrestling fed -- after a 9-YEAR hiatus -- but according to sources, no official agreement is in place to keep her around ... in fact, we're told, she's currently working on a "handshake deal with a very, very short leash."

Chyna's return to wrestling will air over the next three weeks -- but her future afterward is still up in the air.

It's still looking damn good though -- because we're told, Chyna's already been offered a one-year contract to take her moves abroad ... wrestling for Japan's infamous Inoki Genome Federation.
