The female who called 911 never identifies herself ... or reveals why she is calling ... she merely tells the 911 operator, "Please come, it's an emergency" ... and then hangs up.

The 911 operator calls back ... but no one answers the phone.

Cops eventually sent emergency vehicles to the home ... and the Miami Dolphins receiver was treated for a stab wound to the stomach.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the LAPD is investigating Dykstra for lewd conduct ... stemming from allegations made by a 47-year-old woman who claims she answered a Craigslist ad to be Lenny's housekeeper earlier this month.

The woman told police ... when she arrived to the home, Dykstra explained that she wouldn't just have to clean the home, she would also be required to give him massages as well.

The woman claimed Dykstra then took off all of his clothes and told the woman he wouldn't be able to hire her without first sampling her skills. Smooth.

We're told the woman denied his request ... left the home immediately ... flagged down a nearby cop ... and filed a police report. She also locked down a high power attorney, Mauro Fiore Jr., to handle the case.

Howard won the judgment against Royce Reed for half a mil last year because she violated a court order, prohibiting her from talking about him in the press.

Howard claims Reed now owes him $551,606.74 -- which includes interest. So Howard has filed papers with a California court, which could give Howard the right to go after Reed's assets in Cali.

Good luck ... our sources say the "Basketball Wives" star has nada in California.

It all went down minutes before Bellator 42 at the Lucky Star Casino in Oklahoma -- Bellator ring girls Jade Bryce and Mercedes Terrell hit the mat pretty hard ... and, well, just look at the pictures already.

Marshall underwent surgery Friday night, according to ESPN, and is still in ICU this morning. ESPN says no vital organs were hit and he should be OK in 2-3 weeks.

Marshall's wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall (see mug shot below), was arrested last night on a domestic violence charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently being held on $75,000 bond. According to the police report, his wife told police she acted in self-defense.

Marshall's agent would only say, "This is a very difficult time for Brandon and family, thankfully he will make a full recovery ... We simply ask that his privacy is respected."

According to documents filed in Dade County, Florida, 27-year-old Bosh married his fiancée, Adrienne Nicole Williams, on April 9 in Miami Beach ... one week before the Heat crushed Philadelphia in Game 1 of their series.

Days before the wedding, 26-year-old Williams had a HUGE bachelorette party in The Bahamas ... attended by Kelly Rowland and Scottie Pippen's wife -- and our friends at TheYBF.com have all the crazy photos.

Our sources say the person Selig picks will not run the operation, but rather will have a VETO over decisions Frank and the rest of the management team make.

As TMZ first reported ... Frank's lawyers are preparing legal documents that would challenge Selig's move earlier this week -- claiming it's "arbitrary and capricious."

Our sources say nothing will be filed before Selig names the monitor. We're told if it's someone who has been "sympathetic" to the team and Frank, they probably will not challenge the decision -- at least not immediately.

If, however, the person Selig chooses is not friendly -- or, as it was put to TMZ, "a saboteur" -- Frank's lawyers will fire up their legal options.

Sources familiar with the case tell us ... Frank's lawyers are researching and preparing legal docs so they can go to court and ask for a mandatory injunction, forcing the MLB and Selig to reinstate McCourt as the man in charge of the day-to-day operation of the team.

Our sources say the essence of McCourt's case -- that Selig was allegedly "arbitrary and capricious" in yanking McCourt's authority.

We're told one of the arguments -- that Selig and the MLB have tolerated bigger problems with other teams, including the New York Mets, which is reportedly $450 million in debt.

Our sources say legal action "is not imminent" -- meaning it won't be filed today. But sources say it could still be filed as early as Friday.

Despite Frank McCourt getting a $30 million personal loan from FOX -- the network is NOT in the market to purchase the Los Angeles Dodgers from its embattled owner.

Sources connected with the team tell us FOX is not interested in buying back the franchise it sold to McCourt in 2003 -- and even though the MLB just took control of Doyer finances ... McCourt's not talking about selling.

We're told the main reason there won't be a Dodgers-FOX reunion is it's a bad business model for the network. Put simply, there's better money in airing baseball games than running baseball teams.

Eli and and his wife Abby hit the Horseshoe Tunica Hotel & Casino on Tuesday -- and according to sources inside the joint, Abby was telling people it was her first time out since giving birth to their daughter Ava on March 21.

We're told the couple tried their luck at craps ... and then some blackjack -- and were "very friendly" with everyone at the casino.

But perhaps the most important thing -- at one point in the evening, a man came up to Eli and asked if he thought there would be an NFL season this year ... and Eli simply replied, "Yes."

TMZ has learned of the investigation in the wake of Commissioner Bud Selig's announcement that Major League Baseball has taken over the financial operation of the team.

Sources tell TMZ ... the IRS investigation was triggered by a number of disclosures surrounding the McCourt divorce. In particular, IRS agents are interested in the fact that the McCourts took $145 million from the team and paid no taxes (certain court documents place the figure at around $105 million, but we're told it's actually $145 mil).

The IRS is also interested in the fact that the McCourt children have drawn a salary from the team but performed no apparent services to justify the payout.

And the IRS is focusing on certain team losses that were carried forward.

And we're told the California Franchise Tax Board is also looking at the situation.
