Blake Bortles isn't just gunning to go high in the NFL Draft ... he also wants to be a top Fantasy Football pick too.

The UCF quarterback -- who's expected to be one of the first players selected in the NFL Draft tonight -- was out in NYC yesterday gearing up for the biggest day of his life when we asked about his fantasy ranking.

Of course, like his NFL contract ... his FF value will completely depend on which team calls his name at Radio City Music Hall.

Donald Sterling has broken his silence in a recent phone conversation in which he angrily and adamantly says, "I'm not a racist."

The conversation, which we're told was recorded without Sterling's knowledge and posted on Radar Online, is between Sterling and a friend who questioned him about the audio posted on TMZ Sports.

During the conversation, Sterling said ...

-- "It breaks my heart that Magic Johnson, a guy that I respect so much, wouldn’t stand up and say, ‘Well let’s get the facts. Let’s get him and talk to him.’ Nobody tried. Nobody!”

-- "Do you think I told the coach to get white players? Or to get the best player he can get?"

When asked about the NBA trying to force a sale of the Clippers, Sterling responded ... "You can't force somebody to sell property in America. I'm a lawyer. That's my opinion."

Donald Sterling is finally expressing remorse about the racist comments that got him banned from the NBA ... this according to former L.A. Kings owner Bruce McNall who says Donald told him he feels "terrible" during a phone call a few days ago.

McNall was out in Malibu on Wednesday and told us he's been friends with Sterling for years -- and had a conversation with the disgraced L.A. Clippers owner just the other day.

"Oh man, when I talked to him ... he felt terrible," McNall says.

"I mean he was like 'What an idiot I am. I don't know what I was thinking or doing."

Wes Welker was the big winner at the Kentucky Derby -- but a fan claims the Denver Broncos star NEVER PAID UP in a contest he held to name his race horse ... and now the fan is demanding his prize.

The drama began in 2012 ... when Wes held a contest on Twitter to name the new racehorse he had just purchased.

Welker selected the name Move the Chains, submitted by NJ resident Nick Boyle -- and promised him a trip to a race to watch the horse run.

Welker even tweeted about it -- saying, "Congrats to @nickboyle70 for naming the new horse. Move The Chains DM ur phone #. And we will get everything set up for u."

A short time later, Welker contacted Boyle through direct messages on Twitter and wrote, "My agents should be contacting you today via email. The race will probably be a weekend in April."

He added, "I will have the whole trip taken care of."

A short time later, Welker explained to Boyle that he couldn't use the name Move the Chains because someone swooped in on the naming rights -- but still promised the all-expenses paid trip. The name was later changed to Undrafted ... and the horse placed 2nd in a race at Churchill Downs this past weekend.

In fact, he followed up with a message that read, "Keep u updated on a race that we can both make, and get hammered and go to the winners circle. Sorry for the delay on this."

Fast forward to 2014 -- and Boyle says Welker basically went off the radar, unfollowed him on Twitter and never came through on his prize.

"I've been disappointed for 2 years," Boyle says ... "When I won the contest I was really looking forward to naming the horse and hanging out with Wes at the track. He screwed me. I did nothing wrong."

He adds, "Move the Chains became yank my chain."

3:30 PM PT -- Officials say the deceased is a family of 4 -- two adults, 2 teenagers.

Officials also say the fire appears to have been set deliberately -- and there is "upper body trauma on two of the victims."

The woman who reported the fire at the home owned by tennis great James Blake told the 911 operator that it "just exploded" while she was out walking her dog ... saying, "It's just so horrible."

Hilary Duff might have just made a $6,000 per month mistake -- she recently signed a lease for a fancy bachelorette pad ... but now she might be getting back together with her estranged husband Mike Comrie.

Real estate sources tell TMZ, Duff signed the lease for the 1,500 sq. ft. 2-bedroom house a couple months ago -- soon after she and the ex-NHL star announced they were separating -- but you may have noticed ... the "separated" couple hasn't been so "separated" recently.

Hilary and Mike have been hanging out a LOT -- Hilary even addressed the ambiguous situation, saying, "We love each other so much, and we love spending time together ... We don't know what our future looks like right now."

So it's unclear if Hilary plans to live in her new house ... or if she plans to let it sit Hilary-less, while she continues to live with Mike in their $3.9 million Beverly Hills mansion.

Colin Kaepernick says he's extremely happy officials released the 911 calls from the sexual assault investigation in Miami -- because he believes the calls help prove he's completely innocent.

Kaepernick just went to Twitter and posted, "On 911 calls, I'm glad the truth is getting out. Info that came out earlier was totally wrong. I look forward to this matter being resolved."

We broke the story ... officials released both calls that were made from the apartment the night of the alleged incident ... with both callers saying a naked woman was laying on a bed and refusing to leave.

One of the callers, Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette (who is also listed as a "suspect" in the police report) ... told the 911 operator the woman stated she would not leave the apartment until she spoke with an unnamed man (presumably Kaepernick).

Lockette said the unnamed man was NOT her boyfriend, but "someone she wants to sleep with."

Two powerful obesity organizations are having a hard time stomaching Charles Barkley's offensive comments about fat women in San Antonio ... and now they're calling for Sir Charles to apologize.

He beat the father ... but Sugar Ray Leonard says when it comes to the Mayweather family, he could've whooped the son, too.

Sugar Ray was leaving Boa Steakhouse in Hollywood last night when TMZ Sports asked the legendary fighter if he would have beaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. back in his prime.

Leonard is clearly confident.

There's some history though -- back in 1978, Sugar put a hurtin' on Floyd Mayweather Sr., earning a TKO in the 10th round of their fight ... sending Leonard's record to 14-0.

Leonard was a beast back in the day -- there's no question he would've given Junior a run for his money.

11:16 AM PT -- Officials say a 4th body has been located inside the house. They also confirm fireworks were discovered inside the home.

Officials also confirm Blake was not in the home at the time of the fire.

TMZ Sports spoke with Blake's next door neighbor who tells us ... he heard several large booms early this morning and went outside to check it out.

The neighbor says he saw an "instant fireball inferno" that seemed to be coming from the garage of Blake's house.

The neighbor says he heard several explosions that continued throughout the morning.

As for Blake, the neighbor says he hasn't lived in the home in at least a year. The new occupants had been living in the house for a little more than a year.

The neighbor says the renters were quiet people who kept to themselves.

Three dead bodies were discovered inside a Florida mansion owned by tennis superstar James Blake ... after firefighters were called to the home to respond to a massive fire.

You always remember your first ... especially when he's a super famous NBA player -- so says singer Teyana Taylor who just revealed that Brandon Jennings recently swiped her V-card.

Taylor -- who's signed to Kanye West's record label -- appeared on the Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 this morning and talked about her fizzled relationship with the Detroit Pistons player.

During the interview, Taylor revealed all sorts of intimate details -- including the fact she made Jennings wait two years AFTER they were engaged before she gave up the "goodies."

Taylor -- who's 23 -- also says she hasn't slept with anyone other than Jennings ... but says, "When I'm ready to have my second ... I'm gonna do that."

Jennings is now dating one of Taylor's ex-friends -- but Teyana says she's not bitter at Brandon. In fact, she says she wishes him nothing but happiness. As for BJ's new chick, Taylor says she feels betrayed.

When Coach Bill Cowher tells you to bring his daughter home by 11 ... YOU BRING HIS DAUGHTER HOME BY 11 ... so says Bill's future son-in-law -- who happens to play for the Lakers.

Ryan Kelly was out in L.A. last night when we asked him if the legendary Pittsburgh Steelers coach ever set any rules for dating his daughter Lindsay when they got together back in high school.

"I made sure I ALWAYS brought her back on time," Kelly says.

The two are now engaged to be married -- and Ryan tells TMZ Sports his relationship with the coach is as solid as Bill's chin ... saying, "He's an awesome dude. He actually loves basketball too."

Sammy Watkins-- arguably the top receiver in the NFL Draft -- is just hours away from being a multi-millionaire ... and he tells TMZ Sports he already knows how he's gonna spend his first check.

But the coolest part about this clip isn't the money -- it's the fact that Watkins (who's leaving school early to turn pro) says he's still dedicated to earning his degree in communication studies.

"I think I'll go back every Summer," Watkins says ... "I love Clemson."
