The legendary George Foreman tells TMZ Sports he has a message for Bernard Hopkins -- HANG 'EM UP ... while you still have your health.

Foreman -- who famously fought until he was 48-years-old -- says he was incredibly impressed with 49-year-old B-Hop's commanding victory over Beibut Shumenov this weekend ... but cautions, "Don't tempt fate."

"I fought all the way until I was about 50," Foreman says ... "Around my 56th birthday, I was gonna come back. I saw a path to the heavyweight championship. My wife said, 'you're not gonna do it.' We all need someone like that. It was the best thing that could've happened to me."

Foreman adds, "Leave while you can. When the curtain closes, you don't want to be laying on your back in the middle of the ring."

When asked what he would say to Hopkins, Foreman told us, "Bernard, you looked great! Fantastic! Isn't that the way you wanna go out? You looked unbeatable, now leave."

"I think Muhammad Ali would say the same thing. Get out and smell the roses."

"There's life after boxing," George says ... joking, "If he makes a Bernard Hopkins Grill, I'll have all my kids buy one! I have 10 kids, 10 grandkids, and 2 great grandchildren. He can make a lot of money just off us!"

Ex-boxing champ Kassim Ouma has been charged with felony cocaine possession stemming from an incident where he allegedly K,.O.'d a guy who made gay advances toward him ... TMZ Sports has learned.

The L.A. County District Attorney filed the charge against the 35-year-old boxer Tuesday -- stemming from the April 18th incident.

We broke the story ... Ouma told investigators he struck up a convo with a guy he just met in L.A., went back to the guy's home and then got violent when the guy made multiple sexual advances toward him.

Ouma was arrested for battery ... but we're told prosecutors did not file any charges against Ouma for the fight. It's unclear why.

If convicted on the coke charge, Ouma faces up to 3 years behind bars.

5:07 PM PT -- TMZ Sports spoke with Josh Booty who tells us he NEVER tried to freeload -- has never freeloaded anything in his life -- and claims the drama all stems from a "mad jealous ex trying to get back at us."

Josh also says he didn't realize the situation pissed off the other housemate so intensely and claims he'll move out asap if it'll solve the problem.

Former LSU quarterback Josh Booty is now a deadbeat Hollywood freeloader and refuses to leave a Sunset Strip mansion where he's been crashin' for weeks ... this according to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports.

38-year-old Booty -- along with a smokin' hot model named Nicole Silva -- is being sued by a man who's renting out a room at a sick 3,000 square foot home in the Hollywood Hills.

In the suit, the man claims he and Silva rented out the place together in July 2013 under the condition they were the ONLY two residents in the pad.

But, the man claims, Silva has been allowing Booty to live in the home since March ... violating the terms of the lease ... and he wants the former LSU QB out of the house, stat!

FYI -- it appears Booty and Silva are dating, based off some very couply pics on her Instagram page.

In a lawsuit obtained by TMZ Sports, the man claims he complained to the landlord that he wanted Silva and Booty out of the home -- only to find out Silva CHANGED THE LOCKS on him when he was out of town!!!

Now, the man wants a judge to force BOTH Silva and Booty out of the place, stat -- plus he wants more than $119k in damages.

Skateboard legend Chad Muska is having his very own art show in L.A. -- to display a bunch of never before seen paintings and sculptures ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Muska -- who was a player character in the Tony Hawk video games -- has been blowin' up in the art scene for years ... and has become pretty well-respected for his graffiti art.

Now, Muska will be opening up his private studio on Friday for the first time to show off some of the other projects he's been workin' on ... including "hanging wall pieces and sculptures."

"Without these mediums, my career in skateboarding would not be possible and there would be no walls to create public displays of art on," Muska says.

Former pro boxing champ Kassim Ouma was arrested for battery in L.A. on Friday -- after knocking out a man who was allegedly making gay advances toward him ... TMZ Sports has learned.

ESPY-winning boxer Dewey Bozella -- who won the 2011 Arthur Ashe award for courage -- tells TMZ Sports he'll be forever grateful to Rubin "Hurricane" Carter for inspiring him to fight when he was wrongfully convicted of murder.

"I could relate to what he went through," Bozella says ... "He fought like hell for his freedom and I was inspired by that."

Bozella -- who was an aspiring fighter when was locked up in 1983 for a crime he didn't commit -- was released after 26 years in 2009 when witnesses recanted their stories.

Bozella went on to fight in a pro bout in 2011 -- AND WON -- and says it wouldn't have been possible without Carter.

"His movie ["The Hurricane"] gave me hope while I was inside. I felt the same way he did."

"Before he got out of his mess, he made the decision that he wasn’t going to take it. I felt very much the same way. I had the same type of drive. I’d rather die than admit guilt for something I didn’t do. He stood up for what he believed in, and that made me feel like I was doing the right thing."

Carter passed away on April 20th. He was 72.
