Darren Sharper's future just got even bleaker ... because he's been shut down AGAIN on his plea for bail ... which means he will continue to call jail home ... and maybe for a long time.

Chad Johnson is going to his special place to celebrate signing with the Canadian Football League today ... under the Golden Arches.

Fresh off signing a deal with the Montreal Alouettes, Johnson tells TMZ Sports he is going to mark the occasion with a nice cigar ... and a trip to McDonald's. As for his order of choice ... Chad tells us he's going with a #1 meal (Big Mac!!!) with extra cheese and no onions.

4:45 PM PT -- Donovan's employer, FOX Sports says it's discussed the DUI arrest with him ... and is “convinced that he understands the gravity of his offense and is sufficiently contrite."

The FOX Sports spokesman added ... "The legal process has been concluded and we plan no further disciplinary action at this time.”

Donovan McNabb served ONE DAY in an Arizona jail Wednesday stemming from a DUI arrest back in January ... TMZ Sports has learned.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, McNabb was pulled over in Maricopa County on December 15, 2013 for doing 81 in a 65 in his 2010 Grey Land Rover at 3:08 AM.

Rick Fox is no Lamar Odom ... or even Kris Humphries -- telling TMZ Sports he would NEVER marry Eliza Dushku on a reality TV special ... but his son says he should strongly reconsider!!!

Rick and his 19-year-old son Kyle were out in L.A. the other night when we asked if they supported AJ McCarron's decision to document his upcoming wedding to Katherine Webb on a reality series.

Rick made it clear ... a reality wedding is NOT in his future -- but that's when his son started pointing out some of the benefits of a televised wedding ... some of which were pretty solid.

It all led up to a funny moment ... when Rick turns to Kyle and jokingly says, "I'm just more concerned about the whole ... you encouraging me to get married!"

9:27 AM PT -- The Cleveland County District Attorney's Office in OK says it will NOT pursue criminal charges against Frank Shannon ... based on the conflicting accounts and because the alleged victim did not want to move forward with a case.

Oklahoma University football superstar Frank Shannon has told police he DID NOT rape a sorority girl at his apartment back in January ... despite allegations from the woman.

Shannon -- the leading tackler on the Sooners -- told police he was involved in a sexual situation with the female student ... but claims she was the initiator, and even removed her own clothes.

But Shannon claims things came to a grinding halt when he asked her if she was on her period. She allegedly said "No" but an argument ensued and Shannon says he got up and went to the bathroom.

The woman tells a different story ... according to the incident report, obtained by The Oklahoman, she claims Shannon came up from behind her in the apartment, pulled down her pants and attempted to have sex with her.

The woman claims Shannon asked if she was menstruating and she said "Yes" -- and that's when he went to the bathroom and she left the apartment.

The report says the woman had texted a friend from Shannon's apartment saying she was raped.

According to the Oklahoman, the alleged victim also sent a text saying the "last thing" her sorority needs is negative media attention involving a football player.

Shannon reportedly told cops that she was trying to either set him up from the beginning or was simply embarrassed that he wouldn't have sex with her that night and this was her way of getting back at him.

Despite the allegations, no charges have been filed against Shannon.

Sports Illustrated bikini model Nina Agdal got game ... even in her PJs.

Nina threw on some butt-cheek revealing short shorts and hit the hardwood recently for one of the hottest shoot-around sessions we've ever seen.

TMZ Sports spoke with Brett -- who's currently out golfing in Vegas -- who tells us his long-awaited meeting with Lorde before her concert at the Cosmopolitan Tuesday night was "AWESOME!"

"Lorde is such a sweet little girl," Brett said ... "She's only 17 years old and she's very talented."

"My wife and I met her after she did her sound check. And then we got to talk to her for a little bit after the concert also. We had two cabanas. It's a beautiful place."

Brett says he reacquainted himself with Lorde's work on the trip over -- "I actually downloaded her music off iTunes and listened to it on the plane ride to Vegas. I knew all the songs when she sang them."

In the end, Brett says ... "We both said it was nice to meet each other. She told me about looking through the National Geographic and seeing the picture [of me from 1976] and cutting it out and putting it on her wall."

Either Kelcy Quarles is lying ... or a bunch of witnesses are severely mistaken -- because the NYPD says multiple people ID'd the NFL Draft prospect at Greenhouse nightclub the night of a massive brawl ... despite the fact K.C. says he wasn't there that night.

TMZ Sports spoke with Lt. Gimple who tells us ... investigators have spoken with multiple people who witnessed the attack on club promoter Michael Hauer on April 11 ... who say they spotted Kelcy at the club that night.

We broke the story ... Hauer was beaten so badly, he required multiple surgeries to repair severe facial injuries. While Hauer's lawyer claims Kelcy and his fellow University of South Carolina football teammate Victor Hampton had a role in the attack, cops say both men are only wanted for questioning at this point.

Lt. Grimpel tells TMZ Sports ... police are seeking to speak with everyone who was at Greenhouse Nightclub in NYC that night ... but they're having a tough time tracking down all of the witnesses because a significant amount of people at the club that night were from out of state.

There's more ... we're told the NYPD was not notified of the alleged attack until Tuesday morning ... several days after the incident. It's unclear why there was such a delay in reporting it to cops.
