He took 'em BOTH to Super Bowls ... but Kurt Warner tells TMZ Sports he feels more allegiance to the Arizona Cardinals than the St. Louis Rams.

Kurt was in NYC yesterday when he explained why ... saying it's due to the fact AZ was the last place he played, he knows a lot of people in the org., and he still lives in 'Zona.

Of course, Warner said he has nothing but respect for the Rams -- and is thankful for everything they gave him ... like his first shot in the NFL after he spent time in the Arena league and NFL Europe.

FYI -- the Rams also gave Warner his first BIG pro contract in 2000 ($46.5 mil for 7 years).

But the Rams also dumped him in 2004 ... and it was the Cards who took a chance on the guy after Kurt's less than stellar season with the Giants.

Johnny Manziel wants to slap his name on everything from shoes to shirts to baby clothing ... at least according to the trademark application he just filed.

TMZ Sports has learned ... Manziel filed docs with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office requesting exclusive rights to various permutations of his name and jersey number (2) -- including "JIIM," "JFF" "JMAN" "JMAN 2" "The House that Johnny Built" and ManzIIel."

According to the application, obtained by TMZ Sports, Manziel wants to use the various logos on athletic shirts, sleepwear, women's athletic tops, shorts, skirts, gloves and fire-retardant onesies for infants.

Johnny's application is still pending.

Meanwhile, Manziel is still locked in a battle for the rights to the name "Johnny Football" with an investment company that beat Johnny to the punch while JM was rising to stardom.

He's the greatest boxer of all time, but Floyd Mayweather wouldn't stand a chance in an MMA fight ... so says "Black Dynamite" himself -- Michael Jai White.

MJW -- who also stars on "Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse" -- is a pretty bad ass fighter himself ... and has black belts in several martial arts styles. He also does a lot of MMA training.

So when we asked him how Floyd would fare in the octagon, White was brutally honest -- telling TMZ Sports that while he RESPECTS the hell out of Floyd, he'd get destroyed.

Anyway, we spoke with someone at the Astros team shop who tells us Hoes items have been a hot seller for a while, but demand spiked after he hit the home run last night.

Clyde Drexler is a married man ... again ... TMZ Sports has learned.

We know ... the NBA Hall of Famer officially tied the knot to his girlfriend Tonya during a ceremony in Texas in early March.

As TMZ Sports previously reported, 51-year-old Clyde met Tonya a couple of years ago through his old NBA pal Dominique Wilkins ... and they filed for a marriage license in Texas back in February.

It's Clyde's second marriage. He was divorced from his first wife Gaynell back in 2011.

As for the wedding, we're told a bunch of NBA stars were present -- including Wilkins, Karl Malone, Dr. J and George Gervin.

Lea-Ann Ellison -- the formerly pregnant woman who was BRUTALIZED on the Internet for lifting heavy weights just 2 weeks before her due date -- is back in the gym after giving birth ... and says both she and her kid are perfectly healthy.

Wanna wear the ultra-patriotic red, white and blue jacket Jonny Gomes rocked to the White House this week? You'll get the chance ... 'cause TMZ Sports has learned it will be sold off for charity.

The Boston Red Sox star personally picked out the jacket before he met President Obama -- and wore it in the official team photo with the Commander In Chief this week.

Now, a rep for the Red Sox tells us ... "[The jacket] will either be donated or auctioned off to an organization of [Johnny's] choice."

The rep says Jonny has not yet determined where the jacket will go ... but he expects to make a decision sometime in the near future.

Jonny paid $395 for the jacket -- we're guessing it'll fetch at least 10-times that amount at a charity auction.

Ronda Rousey is known for kicking ass and taking names, and on the set of the "Entourage" movie ... that name is Turtle.

Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillon shot a scene yesterday in Los Angeles where the UFC queen busts open a major can on them and their SUV in a road rage incident.

Andre Berto may not want his kids to follow in his footsteps, but Dwyane Wade sure does -- and the NBA star is putting' in some serious coaching time with his sons to make sure they can ball!!

Wade hit the gym with his two sons yesterday and put them through drills to help them ball on his level.

Dwyane even tweeted about it, "Making sure they work on the things they're not so good at...#workingonhisleft."

He added, "They will learn. You just have to be willing to teach them."

The Bills running back had just arrived in L.A. yesterday when we asked if he heard the new LeBron James rap -- and if he thought any NFL stars could pull off a second career in hip hop.
