Eagles' Malcolm Jenkins Yo Philly, Please Buy My Bow Ties ... I Owe My Wife a Car!

Published | Updated

The Philadelphia Eagles made a huge upgrade this off-season in the fashion department -- their new safety Malcolm Jenkins has plans to dominate the rough and tumble world of bow ties.

The ex-Saints star tells TMZ Sports he's not abandoning the Rock Avenue Bow Ties biz he started last year in New Orleans -- and instead plans to expand in his new hometown.

Jenkins says, "I'm gonna go around the city and see about getting the bow ties into retail stores."

Jenkins started rocking the Pee Wee Herman look back in 2010 -- his 2nd NFL season -- and says he decided to launch his own company when he couldn't find enough variety in stores.

Malcolm joked he really needs a sales spike in Philly to pay off a lost bet with his wife -- ""I owe her a G Wagon."

Something tells us his 3-year, $16.5 million Eagles contract will take care of that.

Still, MJ's company got a nice boost last week when his ex-teammate Roman Harper wore a Rock Avenue t-shirt ... while getting baptized!

C'mon, Philly -- if it's good enough for Jesus ...

Cecil 'The Diesel' Collins Ex-LSU Star Dodges Return to Prison

Published | Updated

Former LSU football legend Cecil "the Diesel" Collins just scored a huge victory in court -- the man who once racked up 3,079 yards in a single high school season ... is not going back to prison on a probation violation ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Collins already served 13 and a half years behind bars in Florida for committing a super creepy Miami burglary back in 1999 -- cutting short a promising career with the Miami Dolphins in the process.

Collins admitted breaking into a woman's apartment, but here's the super creepy part ... he said he only did it to watch her sleep.

At the time of the Miami incident ... Collins was already on probation for committing 2 similar crimes in Louisiana -- he was accused of breaking into homes and fondling 2 women -- so prosecutors there wanted to nail him with up to 5 years in prison for violating probation.

Today a Baton Rouge judge let Collins off with 3 years probation and said he could move back to Florida. He will have to undergo random drug testing and check in regularly with a parole officer.

Sweet dreams, South Florida.

M.I.A. to NFL My Middle Finger Was Tame Compared to Prince's Penis Guitar

Published | Updated

M.I.A. says the NFL is overreacting big time in their legal war over the middle finger she flipped during the 2012 Super Bowl Halftime show ... and the proof is in Prince's giant penis guitar.

M.I.A. just filed new legal docs saying the NFL's demand for $16.6 MILLION in restitution and damages over the rapper's live 1-bird salute is completely baseless -- since the league already has a reputation for airing risque halftime performances.

Her proof -- M.I.A. says the reputation was built by Super Bowl legends like Michael Jackson who "repeatedly grabbed or fondled his genitalia" during his famous 1993 performance.

M.I.A. says the "genitalia adjustments" were a well-known part of his act at the time and the NFL reveled in the edginess.

There's more ... M.I.A. also points to Prince -- who, in 2007, stroked his guitar like it was "an erect oversized phallus" in what some people consider the gold standard of Super Bowl Halftime shows.

M.I.A. says the NFL knew Prince was planning to get all strokey before the show ... and green-lit the performance anyway.

M.I.A.'s ultimate point is that there is no harm in airing a middle finger -- it won't damage the league or prevent sponsors from paying top dollar for commercial spots.

So far, no comment from Prince or his giant penis guitar.

Ricky Williams I Love that Mike Evans Signed With Cash Money

Published | Updated

Ricky Williams tells TMZ Sports ... he thinks it's "amazing" that Texas A&M star Mike Evans signed with Cash Money Sports ... saying, "It's unfortunate it took 15 years for athletes signing with rappers to take off."

Of course, Ricky was the first big sports star to sign with a rap mogul back in 1999 -- when he signed with No Limit Sports ... headed by Master P.

Ricky -- and No Limit Sports -- came under some serious fire over the contract since it was light on guaranteed money and extremely heavy on incentives ... many of which required record-setting performances to unlock.

Widespread public scrutiny of the contract led to the ultimate demise of No Limit Sports ... and cast a bad shadow over rappers who were trying to branch out into the sports world.

But Ricky tells TMZ Sports ... he thought the contract was PERFECT -- saying, "My contract was a great contract. I wanted to EARN my money."

"It's a misconception that P came up with the terms ... it was my idea."

Ricky says P did not negotiate the contract personally either, he had an agent who negotiated the deal based on the terms Ricky wanted.

Still, Ricky is optimistic about the role of hip hop moguls in sports -- saying, "Cash Money has changed the way the hip hop business has been done and they can do the same for athletes."

Williams says he doesn't see people like Birdman and Jay Z (who runs the Roc Nation Sports agency) as rappers ... "I see them as businessmen."

"They can teach the athletes how to get more out of their careers than just athletic achievement."

The former Cincinnati Bengals receiver was outside Greystone this weekend when we asked if he thought Sherman could've shut him down ... like he shut down Michael Crabtree in the NFL playoffs.

But T.J. says his route-running abilities were just too strong for Sherman -- who T.J. also PRAISES as a helluva football player.

Watch the clip -- you can tell T.J. respects Sherman ... but still dishes out some quality smacktalk.

Mr. T To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame, Fool

Published | Updated

Mr. T pities anybody who isn't in the WWE Hall of Fame ... because after playing a pivotal role in launching WrestleMania 30 years ago -- the 80s star is finally getting his due.

Vince McMahon says ... T will be this year's celebrity inductee into the Hall of Fame, telling TMZ, "His WWE appearances were instrumental in helping to establish WrestleMania as the pop-culture phenomenon it is today."

Mr. T famously said he turned the WWE down for a H.O.F. spot in 2009 ... but now the two sides have buried the hatchet -- and the "A-Team" star will take his rightful place in the celebrity wing.

If you're too young to remember -- Hulk Hogan and T teamed up at the inaugural event ... he also took part in a special boxing match at WrestleMania II against Roddy Piper.

The Hall of Fame ceremony airs on April 5 ... and will air in its entirety on the WWE Network.

No word on who's inducting T.

With Hogan recently returning to the company though -- we're guessing he's a lock, brother.

Brian Banks I Reached Out To Jameis Winston During Sexual Assault Case

Published | Updated

Exonerated football star Brian Banks tells TMZ Sports he's now focused on becoming a life coach -- and last year contacted Jameis Winston to offer advice and encouragement when the FSU star was at the center of a sexual assault investigation.

Banks -- who spent 5 years behind bars for a rape he didn't commit -- wouldn't tell us what he and Winston talked about ... saying they made a pact to never discuss it. He also says privacy is the number one rule of life coach training.

Banks himself was a standout high school football player when he was accused of rape by a classmate. He was convicted and went to prison ... but his accuser later admitted she had lied and the conviction was overturned.

After his release from prison, Brian had a brief fling last year with the Atlanta Falcons ... but he says he's done with football for now. He wants to concentrate on life coaching and other projects -- including an upcoming movie about his life.

Winston seems to have been moved by Banks' story ... he recently posted one of Banks' speeches on his Twitter account.

Mark Sanchez I'm Ready for My Jets Comeback ... If Jets Want Me Back

Published | Updated

NY Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez says he's ready for battle -- telling TMZ Sports his shoulder feels great and he's focused on winning back his starting job ... if management keeps him around.

Sanchez was leaving a friend's birthday party at Katsuya in Hollywood this weekend when we asked him about the torn labrum in his throwing shoulder that ended his 2013 season.

"Shoulder feels great, already throwing and I'll be ready to go here soon," Sanchez says.

When asked how he would feel about leaving NYC to come play for a West Coast team, the former USC superstar smiled at the idea but says he's committed to NY ... at least for now.

"I do love the West Coast, but I'm a Jet for 2 more years at least on my contract," Mark said ... "I love being there. I love New York. I've had a ball there."

Sanchez says he felt like things were going great before the injury -- and believed he was solidifying his spot as the starter over Geno Smith -- but the injury screwed everything up.

As for his future, Sanchez seems to be realistic about the situation -- "I know management has some decisions to make in the next few days ... so we'll see what happens."

He adds, "Whatever happens, it'll be great."
